HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO CRANE-STATION!
Good morning my friends:
I do not believe George Zimmerman rescued anyone from that overturned SUV, but let us indulge ourselves and suspend disbelief for a few minutes.
Due to the possibility of a spinal fracture or spinal cord injury, that is an excellent way to kill or seriously injure someone (See #3 below).
WikiHow provides a step-by-step process to follow:
1. Evaluate the situation. Are there things that might put you at risk of harm? Are you or the victim threatened by fire, toxic smoke or gasses, an unstable building, live electrical wires or other dangerous scenario? Do not rush into a situation where you could end up as a victim yourself.
2. Remember your A,B,Cs. The A,B,Cs of first aid refer to the three critical things you need to look for.
Airway – Does the person have an unobstructed airway?
Breathing – Is the person breathing?
Circulation – Does the person show a pulse at major pulse points (wrist, carotid artery, groin)?3. Avoid moving the victim. Avoid moving the victim unless they are in immediate danger. Moving a victim will often make injuries worse, especially in the case of spinal cord injuries.
4. Call Emergency Services. Call for help or tell someone else (a specific person, if possible) to call for help as soon as possible. If you are the only person on the scene, try to establish breathing before calling for help, and do not leave the victim alone for an extensive amount of time.
5. Determine responsiveness. If a person is unconscious, try to rouse them by gently shaking and speaking to them.
6.If the person remains unresponsive, carefully roll them onto their back and open his airway.
Keep head and neck aligned.
Carefully roll them onto their back while holding his head.
Open the airway by lifting the chin.7. Look, listen and feel for signs of breathing. Look for the victim’s chest to rise and fall, listen for sounds of breathing (place your ear near the nose and mouth, and feel for breath on your cheek.
If the victim is not breathing, see the section below.
If the victim is breathing, but unconscious, roll them onto their side, keeping the head and neck aligned with the body. This will help drain the mouth and prevent the tongue or vomit from blocking the airway.
8.Check the victim’s circulation. Look at the victim’s color and check their pulse (the carotid artery is a good option; it is located on either side of the neck, below the jawbone). If the victim does not have a pulse, start CPR.
9. Treat bleeding, shock, and other problems as needed. After you have established that the victim is breathing and has a pulse, your next priority should be to control any bleeding. Particularly in the case of trauma, you should take steps to control or prevent shock. Click on any of the linked articles for detailed instructions on how to manage a particular problem.
How to Stop Bleeding – Control of bleeding is one of the most important things you can do to save a trauma victim. Use direct pressure on a wound before trying any other method of managing bleeding. Read the linked article for more detailed steps you can take.
How to Treat Shock – Shock, a loss of blood flow to the body, frequently follows physical and occasionally psychological trauma. A person in shock will frequently have cool, clammy skin, be agitated or have an altered mental status, and have pale color to the skin around the face and lips. Untreated, shock can be fatal. Anyone who has suffered a severe injury or life-threatening situation is at risk for shock. Click on the linked article for information on how to treat shock.
How to Help a Choking Victim – Choking can cause death or permanent brain damage within minutes. Read this article for ways to help a choking victim. The article addresses helping both children and adult choking victims. How to Treat a Burn – Treat first and second degree burns by immersing or flushing with cool water (no ice). Don’t use creams, butter or other ointments, and do not pop blisters. Third degree burns should be covered with a damp cloth. Remove clothing and jewelry from the burn, but do not try to remove charred clothing that is stuck to burns.
Treat a Concussion – If the victim has suffered a blow to the head, look for signs of concussion. Common symptoms are: loss of consciousness following the injury, disorientation or memory impairment, vertigo, nausea, and lethargy. Read the linked article for the best ways to treat a concussion. How to Treat a Spinal Injury Victim – If you suspect a spinal injury, it is especially critical that you not move the victim’s head, neck or back UNLESS THEY ARE IN IMMEDIATE DANGER. You also need to take special care when performing rescue breathing or CPR. Read this article to learn what to do.
How to Treat a Bullet Wound – Bullet wounds are serious and unpredictable. Read on for special considerations when treating someone who has suffered a gunshot wound.
10. Stay with the victim until help arrives. Try to be a calming presence for the victim until assistance can arrive.

So let me get this straight. This fool calls 911 when someone is walking in the rain but he does not call 911 when he happens on the scene of a rollover accident.
What a guy!
If George Zimmerman truly is not guilty of murder and he did pull people out of this wreck, he has not learned anything from his experience with Trayvon Martin and continues to be a menace to society.

The NAACP’s petition to the Department of Justice asking for federal charges, including civil rights charges, to be filed against George Zimmerman has reached 1.5 million signatures.
This major milestone was reached in just three days. The petition was set up on Saturday evening shortly after the verdict finding George Zimmerman not guilty in the murder of Trayvon Martin was read

like the other day , omara was still campaining trayvons drug use. and here it is the whole trail zimmerman stayed doped up!!! zimmerman is a drug addict!!! especially after this run . he was so high that he looked like an addict . then we finds out later that he was in mma training . i feel that crump knew that since day 1, maybe day 5 . but my point is ,so much is being said about tray and non of it was true. idk , i felt that sabrina was a much better speaker of tray then bernie and crump . i love u !!!!!
i was hoping some 1 could help me with this, but if the information about trayvon is un-true as we know then why wont some 1 defend his character thats constanly being trash in the media?? the hand on the gun , the texts messages , the fights , the drug use(lean) . its sickening to hear such lies . and lets all face it , this was design to taint the jury pool. crump never came out and said none of this was false. like the phony picture of the broken nose . they kept letting this false infomation run like air. i felt that they should had defended trayvon reputation . and they never did. they would only say that it had nothing to do with the matter. that to me was sooo weak of crump , to allow the likes of the zimmerman supporters to trash tray in his grave. and then to make it even worse, the trail was in florida.
CRUMP and his firm are very smart. When the criminal trial was going on, he did certain things we will probably never understand. I do not believe that was because he COULD not do other things, rather, because he was doing strategic planning. Check out his firm’s website. Smart, cagey and successful.
Sparks have not even BEGUN to fly yet.
Agree, Maslisha … after assessing the cesspool of Seminole County, I believe Parks & Crump has devoted itself to long-range planning all along. Good for these good guys who brought Trayvon’s name to the international stage.
The issue on a civil suit likely becomes more of “timing” than “whether.”
Some questions:
1) Is there a statute of limitations on filing a civil suit against Fogen for Trayvon’s murder?
2) Is there significant advantage to delay civil action completion of the federal investigation or until it’s known whether federal charges will be filed against Fogen?
3) If Trayvon’s parents do indeed file a civil suit against Fogen and/or any of the other Z-vermin, are they exposing themselves to a costly countersuit? (Since the Martin family has not shot anyone dead, would such a countersuit or a separate legal action most likely be thrown out?)
I just had an opportunity to scan some of the news stories from last week and I can not believe that Robert Zimmerman Jr. is practically daring the Martin/Fulton’s to file a civil suit.
What unflattering information, the lies put out there that are false and can be proven?
“Unflattering information”?
They’ve gotten way too big for their little britches. In a civil suit, any “unflattering information” they will try to bring out about Trayvon Martin is going to be met with THE BOMB from the plaintiffs’ side. Fogen will not have the protection of a team that pulls its punches, that is afraid to identify corruption, that is afraid to use the media, that is afraid to displease Corey or Scott or anybody else. In a civil suit, they will not be in their little paradise of “I can say anything I want and nobody can say anything back to me because that’s the rules.” In a civil suit they will not be up against people who WANT TO LOSE.
If they say “thug” in a civil suit, they will find out that the other side doesn’t say, “not thug,” but rather, that the other side says: “I’ll SEE your thug and raise you a murderer molester bully liar punk chicken fake fraud cheater thief deadbeat failure beggar slob suck-up bigot wus racist fuckingassholebastard.”
How’s that for flattery, you moron!
Skuze my French. 😳
“If they say “thug” in a civil suit, they will find out that the other side doesn’t say, “not thug,” but rather, that the other side says: “I’ll SEE your thug and raise you a murderer molester bully liar punk chicken fake fraud cheater thief deadbeat failure beggar slob suck-up bigot wus racist fuckingassholebastard.”
LOL Malisha. I only wish RZ, Jr. could see your response. He is such a weasel trying to blackmail Trayvon’s parents with his threats.
(Still want to know what Jr does for a living. Does GZ pay him with the contributions to website?)

let’s just hope this is not viewed as complimentary information, given the jurisdiction. : /

Hello everyone. I’ve been out of pocket for a few days dealing with my son’s case.
The young white male meth addict he shot in the leg while attempting to car jack him told the DA that he did not want to press charges because he was in the wrong and is lucky my son shot him in the leg instead of killing him. He asked that they not prosecute and he is seeking help. He apologized to my kid and my kid in turn apologized to him. This young man is 22 years old. His family is acting a fool telling him to press charges and is angry at him because he will not.
The DS will not reduce the charges from second degree attempted murder which was an excessive charge in the first place.
A white male can commit a crime (car jacking with a weapon) against a black male and the black male can not defend himself because doing so he is a menace to society. My kid should have just shot above the waist because he is still being charged as if he tried to kill the guy instead of just trying to stop him. He aimed below the waist with no intent to do serious harm just stop the guy and this is what he has to deal with. This guy pulled a gun on him what else was he supposed to do?
Self defense laws do not pertain to black men.
Trial is set for January.
@Woow!
i would love to say that is unbelievable, but i know it is not. i wish you and your family the absolute best and i’m so sorry that you have to deal with this at all.
Woow, what state?
Woow!~ Your story just made my blood pressure shoot up! This is HOUSTON, right?? Sometimes those fucking DAs DO LOSE. I got you in my prayers. It sounds like your son is an amazing man with a good strong foundation. I think we should mobilize somehow and send that DA emails, letters, whatever, in support of your son. The person shot doesn’t want to press charges, and HE was the car jacker?? So the thief is the VICTIM?? Dams, let me know when Texas and Florida get cut off from the rest of the thinking world; I want to leave before then.

Joseph~ God forgive me, but I see your final sentence being the his future.

cielo62 -I agree!
@Crane
I think your theory about fogen being “in” on burglaries has merit. I remember whites doing that back when I lived in Detroit. And the claim got instant merit from the PD.
Note how everyone in the Trayvon trial who is white got the assumed truthful stamp of approval from the jury and anyone black was assumed not truthful.
Criminals take advantage of deep seated prejudice.
I think Lonnie Starr has been saying that too for quite a while.

Happy Belated Birthday Crane-Station, I’m finally back on N.C. soil after a nice couple of days Touring Charleston S.C. I’ve read on Facebook where Sanford businesses are feeling the effects of the boycott and, it needs to really hit the entire state. I hope those who have pledged to take part in this boycott, will do just that and not sneak and spend or vacation in the state of Florida.
The prosecution in the Fogen case, was just going through the motions of having a trial and, they “NEVER” intended for him to be convicted by the way they conducted that trial. how dirty of Angela Corey, BDLR as well as the Attorney General of that sinful state, Pam Bondi are just as much to blame as that jury was.
Juror B37 needs to be investigated but, it’s very doubtful that this will happen because, to some Trayvon is just another dead AA and, their lives don’t matter. I’m going to email Ben Jealous and, tell him that if it’s at all possible, they should have this woman investigated. she was a plant and, I believe the state knew she was. who the hell are these people protecting, that Trayvon didn’t deserve the same kind of justice that Jessica Lunsford got, even though her murderer died shortly after being convicted and sentenced to death. she and her family still got justice in a court of law.
People, there is more going on here than we will ever know about. since when does LE take the side of the defendant in a court of law, especially if the victim is a child? Serino and Singleton both lied on the stand and, had turned pro defense. are AA hated so much to the point that, if one of them is murdered by a white person, they are not deserving of justice just because they are black?
These people are protecting someone and, it’s not necessarily Fogen. I believe that if we find out the identity of the person who tore out of that complex like a bat out of hell, we just might be surprised. remember, there was DNA on that gun besides fogen’s that didn’t belong to Trayvon. do we really know for sure that officer Timothy Smith, didn’t arrive earlier than stated and, how do we know who was actually behind the wheel of the LE cruiser that was said to be officer Smith?
This entire thing just smells pretty damn bad and, this child is gone forever and, the state of Florida does not give a damn about him not receiving justice because, they are protecting someone and, as I’ve said before, it’s not fogen.
You just essentially spelled out what I was thinking, when I quit watching the trial. I later watched about five minutes of West with Rachael (Dee Dee) and found it to be so sickening that I did not watch. I felt like I was witnessing a fake trial, and I do not appreciate being played like a tune. I keep asking why? For what? ‘Because they can?’ Wrong answer. What the fuck was I actually watching? I wonder if we will ever know the truth.
I think we actually DO know the truth, but up until this very morning I had not put it into a sentence. The sentence it came to me through was Serino’s sentence when he began to gently — ever so minutely and shyly, like a little girl wondering, with her thumb in her mouth, if she could ask the regal old woman for a cookie — question Fogen’s story. Serino said, mid-sentence, after saying that Trayvon Martin was not doing anything wrong, “You’re still the good guy here.”
Those (and now, the individuals included in “those” is legion) who worked hard to exonerate Fogen after he murdered Trayvon Martin were essentially saying:
Fogen has to still be the good guy here.
No matter WHAT he did,
No matter WHAT WHOPPERS he told,
No matter how innocent and undeserving Trayvon was;
No matter what the facts show,
No matter what the forensics reveal,
No matter what the law says,
No matter what his intentions were,
No matter how many wrongs he committed,
No matter what the morality issues are,
No matter what (including but not limited to ANYTHING)
George Zimmerman has got to stay THE GOOD GUY here.
… why? …
Because if he is NOT,
THEN:
A white guy went out hunting and chased down an anonymous Black kid he picked and targeted like game in a forest,
and he chased him
and he scared him
and he killed him
and there is no excuse.
And he did it because he knew he could get away with it.
And he DID get away with it.
If a theorem is true, the contrapositive is true.
If a white guy is a good guy,
then he is right to target and kill a Black and blame the Black.
If he is NOT right
(to target and kill a Black and blame the Black)
then he is not a good guy.
Since this case started with everyone in power saying:
HE IS STILL THE GOOD GUY,
Then he had to be NOT GUILTY of any crime
because it HAD to be that what he did was right.
OtherWISE, all the wrongs the white South has committed
would make them NOT the good guys any more.
And Rick Scott would not put up with that.
State’s Rights.
Serino gave us the verdict in the very beginning:
“YOU’RE STILL THE GOOD GUY HERE.”
He sure did. What a spectacular display of corruption that whole charade was.
Malisha I always read your comments and enjoying your point of views like they are my own!
I think who started the ball rolling was officer Smith when he told
Serino “This is a case of self defense” end quote.
What words could be use to describe a conspiracy against Martin’s civil rights which the state failed intentionally appealing to a higher authority?
It’s my firm belief that the DOJ will pursue Martin’s killers to the end,BDLR questioning Smith,Serino and Singleton exposed
them as dirty cops.
Smith was instrumental in arresting Burgess,Smith transported
the pos to police headquarter and proceed to tell the lead
investigator his opinion without facts.
The trial was a mockery to every victim in this country specifically teens and children murdered by predators like
fogen because that’s what he is a predator child killer officially
declared to the world by the prosecutor after the he was”acquitted” by 6 despicable women gratified to let a
child murdered free.
The child killer won’t get away with murder,,,,,,,,,,,,,
DOJ is the alternative to the state justice.
Or a vigilante will give fogen a taste of his own medicine.
Joseph~ God forgive me, but I see your final sentence being the his future.

Your posts kick ass and take names.
Another thing that bothered me in the interview was that Serino noted that lack of defensive wounds and then proposed that solution could be that GZ was wearing a jacket.
What he was getting at is rather obvious to anyone who has had to block a flurry of punches. You end up with bruises all over your forearms due to either fist or forearm to forearm contact.
And this lack of bruises was not really brought up. Rain don’t wash away bruises and that light coat would not have prevented them. Take it from one who knows.
Yet the Zimmerbots want us to believe that a skull repeatedly slammed on concrete only produces two slight scratches.
Off on a new musical adventure with the new intros from today.
Raglin’s 80th
Happy Birthday, Crane-Station
There are not enough stars for that one. The audience was just stunned also- her voice. Unbelievable. Thank you so much, Christopher, that was absolutely lovely.
Crane-Station;
Wishing you a Happy Birthday!
Thank you so much, Olivia! This is the first time I have ever seen a virtual birthday party, and it’s been a blast.
Well, I admit I just got faced by MDH in this music war. Stick a fork, I’m Out Done.
But, sigh, well. Here’s Dave Guard, Bob Shane and Nick Reynolds, aka The Kingston Trio, in “MTA.”
HAHAHAHAHA @ the MTA! grew up listening to that on the folks’ magnovox console and when i picked up a guitar 10 years later, it was the first thing that just came rambling out 🙂 thanks for the memories 🙂
I also grew up with The Kingston Trio, back when there were actually records. I believe we had an RCA record player.
oh yes, sweetpea, there are only 3 years between us … (but you’d be older 😛 ). i still have ‘the kingston trio’ and ‘live at the hungry i’ on vinyl that i snagged from my folks as i headed out the door.
A birthday song for Crane!
This is such a sweet birthday song, and I have not heard it. Thank you!
🙂
Oh my God. The hairs on my arms are literally standing on end. No kidding.
Thank you so much.
I am afraid to ask.
Is TalkLeft in Love with Michael Dunn now? Is there anything we can all agree on, that maybe, just maybe it’s wrong to fire a pistol at the rear of a fleeing vehicle with anybody, let alone four teenagers, inside? With several dozen terrified onlookers?
Or are we the lone website on that one too? Seriously.
At least one judge down there has some sense and they are holding the guy without bail. So, there’s that. I suppose.
heck, i’d probably settle for a blanket statement such as ‘discharging a firearm in the vicinity of gas pumps is dangerous for living things’. but don’t want to get my hopes up.
It’s a sad day when we have to get our hopes up for something, just anything, close to reasonable.
I grew up in Detroit and got a belly full of that cowboy mentality. The primary reasons that people die are fear, anger and stupidity. And bullets that miss keep on going. One of the worst tragedies I remember was the young girl (about 7) who was killed at the Northland Roller Rink because some dude started firing at a guy running away.
Is money or some faux macho really worth the risk of taking an innocent life?
About two years ago there was a women killed in my old neighborhood.
A guy was checking on his rental property and when he cam out a young boy car jacked him by pointing a fake gun at his head. As the boy drove off, the guy pulled his gun and emptied it. A stray went through a window and killed this women as she was preparing a Thanksgiving dinner.
And the boys killed by GZ and Dunn did nothing to warrant their deaths. They were victims of fear, stupidity and anger on the part of the shooters.
How can anyone support the shooters?
I have no idea. I quit watching the surreal trial that just took place, toward the end. I quit watching because it was as if the dead person was being convicted, and I could not handle it.
A seven-year-old girl. And for what?
I agree Crane-Station, that trial was a farce and, the prosecution was a part of of that masquerade of a so called trial.
@MDH:
I cannot find you in the thread but I did listen to the beautiful link. Ernest Ranglin, from Jamaica. I am not a musician, but have always loved that type of music. Thank you. Gonna think on it for a minute, before a reply vid. I am a bit reminded of Abraxis, from Santana.
Meanwhile, for Fred, who is truly a Deadhead, I kid you in the negative. This is my favorite from The Dead, believe it or not. It’s called El Paso:
@Crane
Ranglin goes back to the beginning of Ska. He is about 80 in this video and still going strong.
Monty Alexander, Ernest Ranglin, Sly Dunbar and Robby Shakespeare are all tops in what they do enjoy!!
Oh my God. Are these guys ever good. My toes are tapping. Tops is right. I’d put this right up there with the best of the best, thanks for turning me onto t
Never heard anything like it, it’s like a smooth smooth fresh and unusual drink. How often can you hear something so good that doesn’t sound like anything you’ve heard before?
Thanks!
yes. so good and not like anything i’ve heard before!
Have a great rest of the evening, Crane!
How to celebrate your birthday, with a little help from your friends, if you are the four-legged kind, that is.
We might just be up all damn night. Par-Tay. (In some circles I was more functional when I drank). I ain’t even busted out Carlos and the Boys yet, or Afro-Celt Sound System or even many of my favorite movie clips, like when John Turturo loses his mind in the Coen Brothers classic The Big Lebowski:
BOOM Chika rocka. chicka rocka chik a boom.
Hands down my favorite John Turturo, evah.
Damn, son.
In the interview, the shy actor explains how shocked and embarrassed he was, at his own performance:
He is talking about the shining the balls scene, which, of course, was classic. At any rate, Turturro came up with the stuff.
Crane, long time since there’s been a great new cartoon hero of the fat and chubby-tubby, fumble bumble, not quite humble, not quite loveable kind.
Yes, let’s help him out there. Need a name, a super duper cartoon-blooper name, a costume and something larger than a phone booth for him to change in, whenevver the crime-fighter in him kicks in.
A remake of the anti-hero Boris Badenov? A bandit mask to disguise?
Starting point, he will need a plethora of plural identisguises.
I see him getting in a phone booth to change and unable to get back out.
Ay2z- sorry but Tele-Tubbies are already taken…
FROM THE CLUTTERED DESK OF Cielo62
Whew!
Art supply folks: We will ship this week. We were delayed due to my computer having a serious technical issue, where we had to order and wait for parts. Thank you for being patient: there are three of you: two from this site, and one from Firedoglake. My email is such a mess, don’t be surprised if I re-ask for your shipping address!
Now back to the regularly scheduled party/open thread.
BTW, maybe we can help O’Mara come up with some more fake, dramatic Zimmerman Hero stories. I found the car wreck drama-queen rescue to be a bit dry and lacking. How about leaping over a skyscraper, to stop a terrorist attack? Something like that.
Crane- did you read the hilarious tweets made for Hero George? They all sounded more interesting than the far wreck story!
FROM THE CLUTTERED DESK OF Cielo62
Oh no, I missed that. Dang. I should have known Twitter would have covered that utter garbage: George Zimmerman, The Hero, while all of the other people in the background are actually the ones calling for help. Makes me want to 1) vomit 2) write satire, and make the whole thing as utterly ridiculous as it really is. I’ll bet The Onion is salivating.
This doesn’t qualify as a party without some Rocky Horror Picture Show. I saw this thing when it came out, on either Wilshire or Sunset Blvd, and everyone in the theater was acting out the movie…It was/is still one of my fondest memories of Los Angeles:
Tim Curry: Dr. Frank-N-Furter
Susan Sarandon: Janet Weiss
Barry Bostwick: Brad Majors
Richard O’Brien: Riff Raff
Patricia Quinn: Magenta
Nell Campbell: Columbia
Jonathan Adams: Dr. Everett Von Scott
Peter Hinwood: Rocky Horror
Meat Loaf: Eddie
Charles Gray: The Criminologist
Jeremy Newson: Ralph Hapschatt
Hilary Labow: Betty Munroe
– The Rocky Horror Picture Show –
I’m not even gonna lie, we DID the Time Warp, just when/wherever, in college…Oh my God is this ever funny. I dated an improv comedian in college, who later was with LA Theater Sports, so I absolutely LOVE improv. These guys really nailed it.
What a party!!
A young drummer on BGT
Kiernan made it through to the finals, and played this classic Dick Dale tune, Miserlou.
Is this the young man who came on with his parents, but he is the real talent, so they re-scheduled it with just him? He is really really good.
Yes, alone the year before and didn’t make it thru, parents were an alternate ‘idea that thankfully went south.
Their heart was in the right place, but they were blind to the obvious: their boy had become the talent as well as the business man. The boy knew as much, but he didn’t have the heart to tell his parents, so the judges told them. Yes, I remember.
Tomorrow begins my first day of Jury Service.
You know what to do @soul. 🙂
Can’t wait to hear about it.
Hope it goes smoothly for you, all the best!
Good luck. Please let us know how it went when you are free to discuss it.
And when I’m free to discuss it, you know I’ll be here first!!!
slow is because of all the links that take time to refresh each time. If it bogs down, close the browser and dump cache or reset, loose the history etc. Having two pages open on the same broswer can be a problem, second browser helps with that.
Crane, this link is in my music bookmarks, and we haven’t yet had Neil Peart…. ENJOY!!
Happy belated birthday Crane. Shows how slow my connection has gotten. DirectTV made a great offer for faster service. I’m considering. Have a blast!
Crane-Station, so happy that you had this great party! This is just what we needed. 🙂
What’s a party without ice cream? Bringing Sweet Emma and her Preservation Hall Jazz Band back for this one.
Officer Judy, pulls over Liberace
A music party!
so much great stuff
Hot, smooth and quick.
Like it.
Rache, Going in a different direction with this one, musically.
I sang this song in church for my middle child, Jack, in church for his third birthday.
A blessing for you, sweetie pie.
I thought of that same song in reference to Trayvon Martin. Although he left us at a young age, for many of us, he will always be Forever Young.
Yes, Linda, isn’t it so?
For Trayvon Benjamen, and so many other young ones who meet at early death.
But, it’s also a birthday blessing. Isn’t that ironic and special?
But, I’ve always just love Ms. Baez.
Nice to share fond music with each other, isn’t it?
Hope you have a swell and peaceful evening, Ms. Andersen. 🙂
Harry Belafonte’s CBS censored Don’t Stop the Carnival
saw Harry B in concert twice, wonderful
After watching so many great contributions, here’s one from me from one of my two favorite guitarists.
Happy Birthday Crane Station!!!!
Soulcatcher, Mr. Soulcatcher, And Moonshadow
Oh! Thanks you guys!
Well I may not post the best drum clip of Cranes birthday party.
But I garenfucintee Im about to post the oludest drum banging of the night
ENJOY!
LOL! Or… well, everyone seemed ok. Tommy Smother’s, host, is known for f’n up…. let’s see him do it, a little less explosively…
A beautiful Spanish song,
(not the best version– too cleaned up! El toro crappo!)
love, love, love keith moon blowing up his drum kit on the smothers bros. 🙂
Oh, man is that funny!
You know, it’s hard to get Fred to laugh out loud. But there’s snot running….oops, I hear him in the bathroom, blowing his nose. And the parrot is saying, “Here we go…”
excellent choice, colin!
While the insanely amazing music war/birthday party unfolds above, I know you are all curious about how I start my day. Here is my typical morning workout (AZO showreel, aka’The Coolest Guy in the World’)
And I will up it to a Cozy Powell…
Great stuff, Colin
That dude is good.
Time for some insanity.
Insane drum solo by Buddy Rich
Another F N AUSOUME one thanks prof
an re below am no way hinnting cozy powell is better than buddy..
That hat tip goes to Deborah Moore, I believe. Hey Deborah, it’s like the drums are part of his body. It’s like having a machine gun for a body. Unbelievable.
Rachel – Truth be told, I asked Mister Moore for the best for ya. He’s the real musician in the family. He’s the B-3 player. I play the flute.
I’m so glad you enjoyed that and all of the other fantastic birthday offerings.
Fun party, babe.
I know that Suzanne posts Muppets at FDL quite a lot, but I am not usually a regular during the Late Night, so I had not seen this. My jaw was on the floor, for real. Then, Fred got to going on the searching…
Gene Krupa!!
(but this version, is hardly a drop compared to the full, uncut 1938 version from Carnegie Hall, complete with the often removed piano solo– don’t know the pianist, but think it could well be Lionel Hampton– if you ever feel like it, look it up, there’s only a couple good complete versions on youtube, anything buyable is cut down)
To answer the question about pianist, it was Jess Stacy.
Goodman had the first racially integrated big band.
Benny Goodman was at the absolute height of his legendary career when his publicist first suggested they book Carnegie Hall. He was a star on radio, on stage and on film, and the label “King of Swing” was already attached permanently to his name. So outlandish was the suggestion that a jazz band might play inside the citadel of American high culture, however, that Goodman is said to have laughed the idea off at first. Once he warmed to the notion, however, Goodman threw himself into the task with characteristic passion. In addition to numbers from the regular repertoire of his own band—which included the legendary Harry James on trumpet, Lionel Hampton on vibraphone and Gene Krupa on drums—Goodman planned a program featuring a brand-new “Twenty Years of Jazz” piece and an extended jam session featuring stars of the Duke Ellington and Count Basie orchestras. The concert sold out weeks in advance, with the best seats fetching $2.75.
It would be another decade before anyone who was not in the audience or listening on the radio that night would hear the famed concert. All recordings of the show were presumed lost until Goodman’s sister-in-law came across a set of acetates in 1950. By then, the performance had already become the stuff of legend—particularly the stunning, unplanned piano solo by Jess Stacy on “Sing, Sing, Sing,” the evening’s final number. The album made from the recovered acetates became one of the first 33 1/3 LPs to sell over a million copies. The eventual discovery of the aluminum studio master recordings led to high-quality CD reissues in 1998, 2002 and 2006 of the legendary Carnegie Hall Jazz Concert.
Here’s the Stacy solo
Thanks so much, BettyKath!! Now ot listen, thanks!!
Crane, this is how I link up to new videos, learn a musician’s name, follow it and find new things.
Thanks to BettyKath, have Jess Stacy noted now. 🙂
Buddy meets his match.
Happy Birthday Crane-Station. Wishing you many, many more.
Fogen is an idiot. A racist idiot. A racist idiot with a gun, and a racist idiot with a gun who has been given carte blanche by a racist idiot jury. It’s only a matter of time…
That’s what I am saying as well. Kind of like tick tock tick tock. With this kind of encouragement, it does seem like a matter of time. Mark O’Mara, in the meantime, may want to consider giving a daily press conference, where he lists the names of people who “recognized George.”
What about the Shellie perjury case? Does that go away? Was she allowed to lie through her teeth, since George was acquitted? Was it okay for her to break the law then. Does Florida law only shine some sun for some people, and do Florida laws only apply to some people some of the time, in some sittuations?
Now this is the best birthday party EVER!
So much fun.
This is what I think of Seminole County’s rigged police, prosecutorial and judicial system.
I have to share a news story on this general topic, but first, the woman who made the story this past week, about her home town in Saskatchewan. If you recall, there were stories (true ones) of the police in Saskatoon, hauling native persons out of town, and leaving them dumped at the side of the road to freeze to death.
But for now, one of this Canadian singer’s own tunes , Let’s see… which one…
There is just so much win in your vids. How in the world could I have missed so many cool videos?
Like I did, til today Chuck and John was new to me, I was looking for ‘C’est La Vie’ aka You Never Can Tell’ and found this one instead. The Bell vid, found while searching for something on centering, Ithought it perfect, but never saw it before the day it was posted.
The little Tom, Dick and Harry vid– so much to the point for the bonds that hold our center together– to the point as Harry sings the first lines.
Seriously. Are you performing the actual searches on Google, or YouTube?
I openly admit that I came by the robotic law videos by way of my son, who is 28, and who inherited my sick, dark sense of humor. But you have, like an unbelievable wide-range collection. Hats off.
Not really a collection, youtube searches mainly, but one search will lead through thumbnails for the same artist or subject.
I have to laugh/confess. I love the talent shows, so almost all of my YouTube thumbnails are Britain’s Got Talent, AGT, and related. I love the auditions; sometimes the awful ones are the funniest. I love Simon:
-you sounded like three cats being dragged up the motorway.
-it was like hearing a dog meow.
-that was quite possibly the worst…
Kids are in the house
Bullshit.
Zakk Wylde, same song, which is one of the best, but with Zakk, it’s pure sex. War of the Bands. Bring It!
Fred,
I met lead singer/pianist Gary Brooker and his lovely wife Franky in 1973 after a concert in San Diego. We and the bandmates hit all the dive bars in Mission Beach, then took off to party the night away in Tijuana…when we straggled our way back to their hotel the next afternoon, their manager Derick Sutton (the mad Scot) was in a rage; flight out had been missed and the PD had a on the lookout/missing persons bulletin issued 😉
We’ve maintained our friendship for 4 decades, and I was invited to come along on many of their tours through the years. Thanks for posting the clip. Not my favorite band, but absolutely, amongst the nicest people I’ve ever known.
White Rabbit
Fred. I’m having a flash back. It’s your fault.
And, to make you smile, some more, my 19 year old son just finished mowing the yard – without being asked – and came in to listen with me. Also, without being asked.
🙂
Far out.
The gloves are off. Duane Allman/Wilson Pickett, Hey Jude
Colin, you’re straight-up bad ass. Thanks for the Ginger Baker (and then the Cream that it led to)!
shakkkkin it
Another Killah Drum Link.
Oh wow is that ever fantastic. I had no idea Buddy Rich was that good, and now Fred is telling me he is considered one of the best drummers ever, if not the best. Thank you so much, worth the watch!
oh crane — gene krupa and buddy rich are as good as it gets in that realm 🙂
but here’s my drum gift to you — todd rundgren ‘bang on the drum’
Dang. You guys are kicking my ASS.
Blue Man Group, Shake Your Booty:
ok Crane another drum burst.
Some of the best. You’re making me want to bust out some Trower.
Oh! And he’s wearing a ‘Cream” t-shirt! Way too cool for words.

I have often reflected on how angry Moses would have been (Moses had a temper, some claim). I believe the Aurora shooter was truly disconnected from reality, and his lawyer, Judy Clark, has both class and conscience. Holmes was not competent to stand trial, but other than that minor quibble, I believe this is a powerful message.
Crane- yes Moses had a temper. He shattered the 10 commandments when he found the people worshipping an idol.
FROM THE CLUTTERED DESK OF Cielo62
That is what I thought, no joke. I had not heard about the shattering, but given the content of the first commandment, I am not surprised.
I wouldn’t exactly call myself a ‘bible thumper,’ but I do believe we are playing a bit fast and loose with the “Thou shalt not bear false witness” one. And Thou shalt not kill seems to have been tossed out the window as well.
Crane- sorry, I’m a theologian by choice. The commencement has been mistranslated from Thou shalt not murder, because some killing is justifiable. The idolatry one and the adultery one looks to be optional in today’s society.
FROM THE CLUTTERED DESK OF Cielo62
Fascinating, thanks for clarifying. I began to take notice of the translation issue when I was locked up, and in one place in particular, all reading materials were banned except explicitly a certain type of religious material. I remember thinking, ‘Man, this isn’t translation. This is re-writing. Plain and simple.’
Crane~ There are MANY books written about the multitude of mistranslations, outright inconsistencies and fabrication in the bible. Even the very wording of teh 10 Commandments has 2 versions…
________________________________
Well, I am not surprised. I was reading some of my own Frog Gravy, and some of the stuff they were slinging as ‘biblical’ is hair-raising, and confusing. Had nothing to do with anything I was raised with reading.
You’ll see it, as I post. The stuff was not coming from any mainline denomination…I never did figure out where the heck it came from. But it gets weird. You’ll see it, as I post. (Believe it or not, I often google my own stuff, to find what I am looking for, in Frog Gravy.)
If I understand correctly and use a bit of common sense, we have nothing in writing from Jesus, and he spoke Aramaic, an ancient and simple language, uncomplicated with slang and versions. So therefore, there is only so much he could have said. The rest must be made up. Is it true that Mathew was closest to Jesus in time, and that all four were actually anonymous? Or do I have that wrong?
Crane- no, Jesus did not write anything down. He came from a purely oral tradition. In fact, it wasn’t until the Romans became serious about destroying the Temple was the Tanach (what Christian’s call the Old Testament) even written down. Matthew was the “youngest” gospel but it wasn’t written until 50 years after Jesus’s death. John was written 150 years afterwards in high Greek. There has always been a belief in a “Q” source which was a written collection of oral memories of stuff that Jesus said that was supposedly available to mark, Matthew and Luke. Dang, I hadn’t discussed this stuff in decades but its always been a passion of mine. History and truth traditions.
FROM THE CLUTTERED DESK OF Cielo62
I am fascinated as well, and recently listened to te lecture series From Jesus to Constantine. I continue to re-play the series. Somewhere along the line, I made a mental note, for some reason, to look up the Gospel of Thomas. Anyhow, yes, the lecture series did also point out that nothing was written until well after the death of Jesus.
The series I refer to:
Crane~ The Gospel of Thomas is part of a larger work known as the Apocrypha or “hidden teachings.” Basically, they are contemporary texts that didn’t make the roster for the final approved “Holy Book.” The Book of Thomas is particularly interesting for it’s passages about Jesus’s childhood where it seems he was a little Damien-type of bully, using his powers for all kinds of mischief. No wonder that book didn’t become canonical! Even MORE interesting to me, of late, are the newly discovered and translated the Gospel of Judas, and Gospel of Mary Magdalen, all part of the Gnostic traditions that the mainstream church eventually banned (of course). The modern day christian churches are like sausages: people want to enjoy them but DON’T want to know how they came about!
________________________________
That sounds fascinating. Thank you for mentioning these banned gospels, I had not heard of them!
Crane~ any time you want to discuss stuff like this, you have my personal email. I feel guilty taking up space on OT things… 😦 Plus I don’t want to offend anyone. One thing I HAVE learned is that faith and knowledge are 2 difference and separate things. It doesn’t matter how much one knows, faith just can’t be manufactured. I know a great deal about christianity, it’s history and theology. But I just don’t believe it and can’t make that happen. To me, the world’s religions have as many commonalities as differences. I would rather discuss commonalities as bridges between people. Here on this site we have believers and non believers, BUT we are united in the concept of JUSTICE. And that is a very important commonality.
________________________________
I am fascinated by this history. To me it is history, and it is welcome. Not offensive in any way. Constantine’s conversion, for example, changed the course of modern history. Although I am not a theologian, when I have cared to look at the nitty gritty of various religions in the world, there is way more commonality than difference, as I see it.
Crane- BTW, every language has slang. Aramaic was the Creole of the times, a mixture of several local languages. Hebrew was the scholarly language, not usually used in daily conversations.
FROM THE CLUTTERED DESK OF Cielo62
@ Cielo and Crane-Station – When I lived in Yemen for a couple of years, I would hear this sort of thing. The Muslims would cite it as evidence that the Holy Quoran is more reliable than the Bible, since they believe that the Prophet Mohammed wrote the Quoran contemporaneously (as God revealed it to him) – and the miraculous part was that Mohammed was illiterate.
To Muslims, Jesus was/is a very important and highly-revered prophet – but only a prophet, not the son of God (a heretic claim, in their view) – and Mohammed was/is the greatest of all prophets.
The Quoran says that Mary, a virgin, gave birth to Jesus under a palm tree. And when she presented him to the public, the baby spoke.
____________
PS – Happy belated birthday, Crane-Station!
Thank you for the wishes and comment. I suspect that the basics in humanity, that is, the guidelines about how we treat each other, have much in common among all religions. Whether a person believes that Jesus was God, a man or did not exist, should not have to do with how I treat the person, if I am following, say for random example, the gospels.
Mathew and Mark did not say, “First figure out if thy neighbor hails from the same religion you do, and then abuse him accordingly.” I doubt The Koran says anything like that either.
We are all part of the human family, and we have more in common than different, I believe.
PS My disclaimer: I have not ever studied any part of The Koran. I am only offering an opinion based on a best guess, that if I did, I could see commonality that goes back to perhaps even more ancient commonality. I am no theologian.
Happy Birthday Crane!
יום הולדת שמח – Happy Birthdsy Crane. May this year bring you continued love, health, happiness, prosperity and more rides on Fred’s 2 wheeler! As a ret. USMC & Cal. National Guard medic of course his actions are laughable. Remember the Hippocratic oath, “1st do no harm”
Wouldn’t it be funny if that family has contacted their local accident lawyer (tons of billboards for these kind of lawyers in Central Florida) because if he hurt them on the extraction from the vehicle……I would be suing him, the Sheriff, and anyone else I could. My Attorney would be all over this 😉
However, as the story fades and people’s real lives and issues take over – the child murderer’s world will begin to deplete itself of oxygen…remember this putz has shitty credit and couldnt put 2 nickels together…
Saw the new Woody Allen film “Blue Jasmine” – one of his better later efforts..watch the second lead, Sally Hawkins. She’s a friend and amazing…and of course, Cate Blanchett is in academy territory…Be well

More foolishness in Florida.
Sparger- just another story amongst thousands why I hate cops. It’s no wonder I never invite them to my classroom on career day.
FROM THE CLUTTERED DESK OF Cielo62
After looking at the incidents, if I were an AA, I wouldn’t go when it is dark outside. Too many people getting spooked. Isn’t it interesting to look at the word “spook”.
Spook: “derogatory term referring to a black person or someone of African descent;”
Spook:
▸ noun: a mental representation of some haunting experience
▸ noun: someone unpleasantly strange or eccentric
▸ verb: frighten or scare, and often provoke into a violent action (“The noise spooked the horse”)
Our language influences us subconsciously. Another interesting word: Invalid IN’va-lid and in-VA’-lid
LBTG~ Isn’t it also a synonym for a ghost as well?
Yup a spooks a ghost that’s why deep undercover agents for say C I A mi 5 or 6 the real life james bond types are refered to as spooks.
PS Anyone watching eveloution Revelution the final two season Finales were to coin an Americanisim Fn Ausome.
It’s also a common term for US and Canadian espionage agents (CIA, FBI, etc.)

Rad choice, colin.
Great guitar sound.
I missed the whole story and the debunking. I vaguely remember something on another blog about GZ rescuing someone but did not have details.
When I heard the accident story, the first question I had is where was GZ headed when he came upon the accident. Was he headed to Target to go grocery shopping?
I mean isn’t GZ afraid to show his face in public when it seems to me even more people are outraged at the verdict and that he got away with murder and more people should be in fear for their lives now that he has been given the license to kill again from the state of Florida?
Is there a link with specifics of the accident and the debunking?
Either he was called out or he was running around getting his weapons in order. You can bank on that.
GZ sat on the previous trauma victim he encountered {read created}.
Happy Birthday, Crane. And many more.
In some small way, it’s comforting how quickly the GZ is a hero story fell apart. The story was rightfully treated with skepticism from the start and proceeded to unravel.
What I don’t understand is how his story can be so immediately dismissed with skepticism here when the one where he actually took a life isn’t. How is that story any more believable? Oh, it pisses me off.
Huh? I’m sorry but I don’t understand your point. GZ’s story about killing TM has been met with almost absolute skepticism here. Maybe you mean skepticism from the media?
Yes, that is what I mean. The outhouse type. Ooooh, poor little George, he was viciously attacked to the point he had to have his wife apply knuckle bandages. Those people who are the reason he is out and about, able to continue to be a menace to society and do it again.
Rachael, I can tell from the soundtracks that Fogen’s initial stories about the killing of “the suspect” WERE actually immediately dismissed by both Singleton and Serino. That is why it is so extremely disturbing that they allowed themselves to be turned into patsy lying scum by the time of trial.
Singleton: “So you really want us to pretend … uh … [correction] you’re saying … uh ..”
Serino: “Those are really capillary-type cuts or lacerations, not coincident with … [a near fatal beat-down] … uh …”
NOTHING he ever said was believable.
It wasn’t BELIEVED either.
It was accepted although everybody knew damn well it was a lie. Because you’re allowed to lie to get away with killing a Black kid in Florida. You just shouldn’t make everybody else go through so much trouble to DEFEND your right.
His story about taking a life is actually less believable.
ks~ that’s true. It was amazing that it was debunked in some HOURS instead of days.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Crane!! THASSSRIGHT!!!
AWESOME!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Crane, I’ve been touring the youtube to find something for your birthday, and got diverted by the thumbnail choices and have to share this for a Sunday morning in the meantime..
Happy Birthday!!
Will keep looking for your ‘card’, but sharing this with the ‘house’ and with all those, who like Trayvon, have angels watching over them now.
Andrae Crouch and Ray Charles.
Enjoy!
GZ IS a menace to society and I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever that now that he has been given carte blanche on all things, there are more who will die because of him.
The man does not have good sense. He does not even have common sense. He has NO sense whatsoever and someone else is going to be harmed by his lack of it.
We need to be protected from idiots like this, not give them guns and let them walk the streets. How is that not obvious?
Happy Birthday Crane
Happy Birthday Crane Station! Many more!
Thank you, ks!
Happy Birthday, Crane Station!
Thank you!
For the curious. For my birthday, my mother sent me some pictures. This is one of Fred and I some years back. (We both have beards now)
We are basically vampires. There is virtually no photographic record that I exist, but here it is.
I don’t know how to edit or clip, so I just took a picture of the picture. With my Walmart camera.
What a wonderful photo, great looking couple!!
Now, that’s a Power Couple. Both so handsome.
And, both with Big Big Hearts and incredibly creative minds..
It’s a double trifecta.
Let’s see, 2 X 3 = 6. Hey, Is a “double trifecta” a sextouple?
I was hoping someone would come up with the correct term, Malisha.
I was also going to say that I hope Fred takes the girl for a nice ride. (Okay, you gigglers in the last row, I meant on the motorcycle.)
But, since Malish opened the door… yeah, it could be Any kind of good ride. Heh Heh.

Lol.
You are so kind, thank you so much for the comment.
Nice to put a face to ya, Crane! Va-va-voom!

Happy birthday, Crane Station!
Thanks to all who posted these great music videos. It’s been some time since I listened to Benny Goodman. I was fortunate enough to see him in person with a small combo that included Gene Krupa in one of his very last performances. What a treat!

great!!!

Happy Birthday!
Thank you!
Norm Wolfinger’s son Rob is an attorney employed by NASA.
Anyone think B-37 and her husband know him?
Don’t tell me NASA has something to do with ‘space’!!! Yikes!
We know where he works. I posted it in earlier thread.
So GZ did NOT witness accident but Mark Gerstle told firefighters that GZ pulled him out. Then the deputy arrives. Deputy reports GZ and another man had gotten the family out. GZ left after telling deputy “what happened” his accident report. So convenient. Mr. Mark Gerstle and wife Dana then cancel their press release they scheduled with O’Mara because people are outside their home wanting answers.
Well Mr. Gerstle, shouldn’t have told that firefighter that GZ saved your life when you were in no harm.
Yet, Sanford announced on July 14, 2013: “As the Judicial system has reached the conclusion of the Zimmerman trial, a new chapter begins within the City of Sanford, please join us as we continue to move forward. We are open for business, come see us for yourself.”
LoL. Heck, Rob just might be B37’s husband. But if he isn’t her husband, Rob would certainly know him. It’s not like NASA has a huge cadre of space attorneys who wouldn’t work on projects together or know each other professionally.
Happy birthday, Crane-Station.
Please share your source.
If true, it would seem fairly likely that the two “space” lawyers, at least, would know each other. And that would be only three degrees of separation between Wolfinger and B-37 — not much separation at all in those parts, I’d guess.
He!!, the fogen, according to Orlando news stations headlines, “saved” the family. (not all stations used that strong descripton akin to calling fogen a *gag* hero, instead they wrote “helped”).
Saved the family, the implication of that word ‘saved’ is powerful in this case, as had the jury convicted the admitted killer, he would not have been about to “saved” the family, therefore the family would not have been “saved” had he been in jail instead of free to “save” them.
The news stations that used the term “saved” had no know the power of that word and its implications.
Roll Away the Damn Dew and let’s Party!
🙂
and a great big happy birthday to crane station!

So I share a birthday with Prof an am a year older then you well elevn mnths nearly.
It’s a little bitty world. Today, my mother called me, and reminded me that when I was 3 (1963), I ran away to attend the nearby state fair. We were living in Sedalia, Missouri, and I could see the lights of the fair from our home. I asked a few folks if they would take me, and they ignored me so, I went on my own. Never lost that sense of adventure!
That was 0.8 miles, according to google maps. Our address was 902 Sylvia Drive and the phone number was TA7-0615. I was able to give the cops who found me directions!

Is it a “Nation of Laws” or not?
Do you go on gut feeling, “heart” feeling? unknown hidden subconscious prejudice?
Or do you go ON THE LAW?
OK it was clearly misinterpreted and misrepresented (and how that came about is a long complicated story that’s not yet fully in the open). But surely the principle must remain, WE GO BY THE LAW.
If everyone goes on gut feelings you end up with anarchy, no?
It might also be an idea to wait for the full UNEDITED video.

@
Anarchy is the most miss interpted word or political ideaoligy on the planet.
People think it means the break down of society an riots an mayhem.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Anarchists are the oldest political opposition political force in recorded history,
Anarchists were opposed to Monarchists whom believed the a King or Queen had a divine right a god given birth right to rule an govern over all.
Anarchy is about government by each an every individual as equeal under the sun.
Anarchists belived no one has a divine or regal obligation to rule.Instead they believe in self government small government local politics for local regions
No central power base but the trust with in communites to provide whats best for there own well being.
Anarchy was not anti government at all they were anti monarchcy
Anti big brother type rule from a far.
Anarchy was about dissolveing kings an queens an letting us more ir less govern or control ourselves.
It was such an abhorant idea an concept to the ruleing elite 500 years ago .
That they demonised the concept wich is sucsessfull to this day.
Even educated learned people think anarchy means the break down an end of civilisation.
When in realty Anarchy means the exact opposite.
Except that local rule in the conferate south & other pockets white supremacy is a big problem for non- white persons. “States rights” is one of those phrases that means free to oppress other people who are NOT white (men).
Since it’s my birthday, I’ll pepper this thread with some of my favorite short dark humor clips. 26 seconds, ‘Do Not Read.’

Off topic: Mellissa Harris-Perry is discussing Juror B-29.
Sounds juicy. Link?
When does he call 911?
When a black kid is walking home in the rain.
When does he NOT call 911?
At the scene of a rollover car accident.
nuff said.
It is so basic that you don’t move an accident victim unless there are flames or someone is drowning, or some imminent danger is approaching. This is BASIC. For Mark O’Mara to applaud this is extremely reckless.
I am glad that 1) I don’t have TV 2) I don’t have radio and 3) my computer was broken and awaiting parts when this bullshit happened.
Those two need to get a room and leave the rest of the passing public the fuck alone. Please.
Happy Birthday Crane.
We don’t need further proof he’s an idiot. So you missed nothing.

@Crane Station:
Happy Birthday to Crane Station and many, many more. Thanks to the Professor for providing the first aid instructions. I don’t know how many times i hve to facilitate that course for the new Nurses Aides! I have been in a funk since the verdict. I have been venting on some of the posters who post here, on their sites like Xenia and Ametia’s sites! I have been angry and not wanting to discuss this farce of a case! I am to scared for my son and my nephews! Fogen has received his “white race card” and it is open season on black males who can be shot without provocation. Follow a black kid, and then shoot him dead and then claim SELF DEFENSE OR SYG!
Fogen is still in his “prison safehouse”plotting his next kill. My prediction is that Shellie will do time, and Fogen will get “popped” in the near future. There is no place he can go and not be recognized. This man sits up here smiling, alive, eating and living his life as if he offed a cock roach. This man has wreaked havoc upon the entire Martin Family, and the entire world! He did not rescue anyone! I didn’t even bother to reada that story because I am so SICK of hearing about him! I didn’ tthink I could despise anyone more than this man!
His idiot punk brother is making thinly veiled threats to the Martin family, about filing a civil suit and what they will have to lose!!?? Excuse me? These people have lost their son! They don’t care what comes out in the civil trial about their son! It couldn’t compare to what comes out about Fogen! Racists like RZ Jr. have made sure to smear and demonize TM! RZ Jr. is just WORRIED about what will come out in the civil trial about FOGEN, that couldn’t come out in the criminal trial!! He is walking around here all smug right now! We will see who will be all smug in a bout a year!
Happy Birthday Crane Station!
Thank you!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CRANE-STATION !
Thank you!
Here is a photo of the Fogdoits new rescue vehicle! Be on the look out for it in the Lake Mary area of Florida……
HaHaHaHa!
*snort*
Could you please pass the windex?
LOL!!
Too funny!
And, also, thanks again Fred for The Bell. I watched again last night before I went to bed. Wonderful and amazing.
And, also, this morning when I got on the tubes, I was reminded of your afternoon post from yesterday, but for some reason I retitled it in my brain. Grouching Towards Bethlehem. Sorry. It’s the way my brain works sometimes.
GTB – LOL!
Good Morning and Oh Boy, a birthday party. Happy Birthday, Crane-Station. Remember, you’re another year Better.
I don’t have any cake, but I made this zucchini pie this week, which might be an acceptable substitute.
Oh, that looks sooo good! And I finally have a working computer to say thank you! (I can’t believe what I was limping along with for a few weeks there)
Hugs and many more special days to you Dear Lady.
Thank you!
Looks delicious, Deborah. Is there a recipe somewhere?
I’ve read that he has a police scanner. Sounds right up his alley. Apparently, he also has the protection of the bigot cops down there. All I know is that if I had seen the big looming head of fogen after a traumatic auto accident; I would have screamed my head off for fear I had died and gone straight to hades.
Why is that boob still in Sanford. I would think he would be out of there.
He is a welcome hero there.
I bet Zimmerman is more than welcome in Sanford now that he has an official license to kill. Could be the safest place he could be now.
Can’t wait for GZ’s next chapter.
Will he have major health issues from his obesity? Will wife ShelLIE beat the perjury charges or go to jail leaving GZ to fend for himself? Will he have federal or civil charges down the road? Will GZ “rescue” more Sanford citizens or kill someone? Will GZ meet someone who finds him suspicious and life-threatening and decides to stand their ground?
As the world turns in Zimmerman-land.
Jm- he accomplished RATL goal if having minorities move out. Many people moved after the shooting. I hope their home values are still in the toilet.

Great questions, jm … the (admittedly unlikely now) prospect of the perjuring SheLie being led off to the clink while Fogen scratches his ass is comical to contemplate.
Fogen, IMO, will be a menace wherever he goes for the rest of his miserable life, which I don’t expect to stretch into Social Security years …. given his weight, the way he stokes up on meds, his apparent taste for liquor, and his propensity to insert himself into situations that are none of his biz. All told, Fogen stands a good chance of being offed by some other dufus hothead out there who doesn’t even recognize who he is.
I believe he will kill again… unfortunately
Mojo- I totally agree. In his psychopathic mind, he’s invincible. He will kill again.

The man is an ‘accident’ waiting to happen.
Lurker- maybe he’ll shoot himself in the butt while taking his penis substitute,.. Er, gun, out of its holster.

@jm Never fear either Jerralyn or Lisa Bloom will keep George company and let George blow his snot onto the sleeve of their blouses instead of depositing this mucus on one of his fancy court suits if Shelly gets sent up the river.
Maybe we can have a MMA Pay Per Veiw of Jerralyn and Lisa fighting each other for the privilege to feed and burp George while he awaits Shelly’s return.
I didn’t know Lisa Bloom was a fan of GZ. Seems to me she felt the prosecution blew the case on purpose but I may have her confused with another female commentator.
He also rec’d a phone call from the responding officer.
That happens to me all the time.
First responders call me all the time to accident scenes and homicides.
Don’t know what they would do without my hep.
Just more evidence that the fix was in.
Will the DOJ look at any of this fixing stuff – or can they only look at civil rights violations.
We all know that Fogen is a walking disaster and that the people of FL are at danger. I’d think that Fogen would clear out of Sanford, since he’d requested to be allowed out on bail out of state. On the other hand, must feel pretty cushy there now with a PD who minimized your crime, a jury who sprang you, and other folks laundering your actions. Bet he feels like a big fat fish in a little pond.
Have the best birthday ever, Crane! Take advantage of these trines and roll!
You, too? Why, for me, just yesterday …. 🙂
Same here. Watch Captain doesn’t call 911 when he 1) kills somebody and 2) comes up on a rollover car wreck, but he does call 911 when he 1) sees somebody walking in the rain 2) sees kids playing and 3) sees somebody taking the trash out.
GMAFB
How long do you think it will be before he is in the news yet again?
I think it’s hilarious that the news played everybody else calling 911, but at the same time, stay with me here, glorifying George Zimmerman, who in reality should have kept his damn hands off anyone. Simply amazing.
HB, Crane!
I give him about two years. That might be generous.
Lord only knows what he has done that we have not heard about through prior arrests and documented or reported run-ins, but it’s been pretty consistent, it seems, for years.
By the way, I no longer believe Florida is a ‘sunshine’ state at all. There are huge chunks of discovery/phone records/information missing. This latest surreal car wreck/inappropriate ‘rescue’ without the 911 call makes the whole thing reek.
It’s only as much sun as some people want us to see. But it is not real transparency.
There were several 911 calls about the wreck.
Good advice. I think the people in the van may have needed no help since none of them went to the ER. fogen was just on a pr gig still trying to be a hero.
Yes, I agree.
I agree. It’s likely the family crawled out on its own, while Fogen stood around with his thumb up his butt.
The “rescued” family is lucky GZ did not sit on any of them.
Boom Professor!
Happy Birthday Crane Station.
Happy Birthday, Crane!
George Zimmerman is 5’8″, 300+ lbs. The chances of him dashing to the rescue are extremely slim to begin with but positively anorexic at that level of obesity. Second, he couldn’t get 158lb Trayvon Martin off him at his fighting weight of 204, so how are we supposed to believe that now weaker, out of MMA training for more than a year and a hundred pounds heavier himself, he could get a grown man and children out of a car?
Why does the lib media not report THAT fact?
LOL Drew.
Happy Birthday Crane Station!!! Many returns of the day!
Thank you!
Happy birthday Crane, and may you have many, many more.
Just got back in town, but better late than never…especially with birthday wishes 😉
Happy birthday, Crane-Station!
Thank you so much, Lynn.

Oh! What a lovely birthday card, thank you!
ditto
and many more
But Trayvon had watermelon drink.
gz was last seen being stopped by police in Texas for speeding, they appear to have let him go without giving him so much as a ticket. He’s probably scouting Texas for his next victim, since Texas is known to be a shooter friendly state.
