Good morning:

Crane got me interested in short films and here’s an absolute gem that I have never been able to forget.

The title is Table 7.

I once read that lawmakers could never legislate, emotions. As much as I have seen social media change social emotions, to change legislation, I have come to disagree with that view.

Although I am lacking in wisdom and discernment, I sense that we have become an impatient social order. We have unintentionally programed ourselves to finally appreciate the value of time. If I were a betting man (!Go California Chrome!), I would wager that short films are the future of the film industry. That being said, without pencil whipping economics into the equation, I find it fascinating how many layers of thought and emotions were generated by table 7. Of course, my imagination is my worst enemy.

    That’s a great short film!

One time I got an empty fortune cookie! First I laughed my head off; then I got pretty depressed. “How come I have no future?”

Another time I got a fortune that said I would have an old age of wealth and comfort.

Still waiting for the fortune, “HELP! I’m a prisoner in a Chinese bakery!”

Don’t be hasty, prosperity will knock on your door soon.
Big things coming in future. Only a matter of time.
Tonight will be a lucky night.

  3. Come on people!

One way or another, this darkness has got to give.
