New information in Zimmerman affidavit for search warrant

Tuesday, November 26, 2013

Good morning:

The Orlando Sentinel has the latest report on George Zimmerman.

According to the search warrant, Zimmerman talked to deputies after he was taken into custody. He told them that he and Scheibe had lived together since Aug. 23, that she was pregnant with his child and that they had agreed earlier that day to separate.

He said his plan was to move to Texas, according to the warrant.

He told deputies that as he was packing, Scheibe began to throw his belongings around the house, including two of his guns, the shotgun and one of the handguns.

In a recorded phone call with a dispatcher, he said he had not pointed a gun at her. He told deputies in his face-to-face interview that he had not touched or pushed her, according to the warrant.

He also told deputies that he had recorded the argument on his cell phone. Deputies seized two, a black Apple iPhone and a Blackberry.

But his claim of having recorded what happened does not mesh with paperwork filed by his lawyer last week. In it, Zimmerman asked for the return of both of those phones, alleging they had no evidence related to the case.

Deputies got the warrant, suspecting that Zimmerman had locked away the shotgun after the confrontation but before deputies unlocked the door and pushed their way inside.

Deputies found the guns in a black soft-sided case secured with a combination lock, according to the warrant.

This information would have been listed in the affidavit for the search warrant.

When Samantha Scheibe denies that she was pregnant and denies that she ever told him she was pregnant, I expect we will hear the defense accuse her of lying and having an abortion. This will be added to accusing her of screwing him literally and figuratively for a BIG payday selling her story.

I’m tired and disgusted with this little man’s games.

If Florida can’t lock him up, maybe Texas will.

Alter boy George ought to take this tune to heart:

What are the legalities regarding the cell phone(s) belonging to GZ that are currently in the hands of authorities? Can they search them now having obtained them as the result of a search warrant or would it be wide to get an additional warrant?

GZs current lawyer has filed something asking for their return. What grounds exist for this?

What would the provenance of any and all material be were the cell phones searched in a sunshine state? Are we about to have to see sex photos made public? Will the press sue to see this and other material?

Sick sad world… But not dull.

    • Trained Observer says:

Interesting questions … have no idea on the legalities, but relish any notion that Fogen has been deprived of his cell phone(s) for however long, and that he may have difficulty getting replacements, what with his exposed debt load, alleged indigency, and sketchy credit/payment history.

      • Malisha says:

He can get a prepaid like everybody else. Ten cents a minute. At that rate he can’t call 911 as often.

        • Trained Observer says:

Hello 911? I’ve only got a minute, so let me tell you my story quick … whatever it is, it’s not my fault. He/she/they did it, not me..

        • Rachael says:

AFAIK, there are no charges for 911 – in fact, any cell phone that gets a signal can be used to dial 911. So if you have a cell phone but no plan, no minutes, just the phone and it is charged and has a signal, you can use it to call 911.

        • Rachael says:

Oh, and Trained observer, not only he/she/they did it, not me – don’t forget, whatever “it” was, it was in self-defense. It is always in self-defense.

It is ALWAYS someone else, and ALWAYS self-defense.

          godihatehim!

        • Soulcatcher says:

If they have Metro there, they are cheap, month to month, and no credit check. I’ll bet he’s got money stashed in some overseas Mo-be-dick account or sumtin like that. He might even have some big time investments in a child pornography scheme of some sorts. Since he thinks these women find him so desirable that they go crazy when he tells them he is leaving, it wouldn’t surprise me to see him in next months playgirl centerfold, titled “The 911 on Phatfogenfool.”

    • lurker says:

Not sure that they had a warrant for the phones. I thought they took them when he was in jail and just hadn’t given them back. They had a warrant for the house. However, if he told LE that he took pix of Samantha doing whatever he claims she did, then I would think that a warrant to search the phone would be easy to obtain.

  3. neveragain says:

He said he never touched her….so he did not try to stop her from throwing his belongings???….correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t gz say on the 911li call that samanthe threw some of his belongings outside???…i wish they cops had released information about stuff thrown all over the place …………….some gz supporters suggested that if an indecent photo eas sent to Samantha.s daughter then it may have been ss who used gz phone to do it in order to frame him…

  4. colin black says:

He will waive all apearances he can as he is frightened.
He now has no money no body gaurds an most important in his mind no GUNS..

He is hated trapped in a confined State / area.
An at certain court dates people will know his itinnnary.
Where he will be an when.

    • neveragain says:

Y is he frightened?…I think he needs to take public transpoortation go to Walmart….let people get accustomed to seeing him in public places and then people will eventually ……..I don’t think anyone will risk their freedom and get in trouble with the law…..no one is going to hurt y gz…stop hiding

    • Malisha says:

Ordinarily a defendant wants a prelim to see what the evidence against him is. This must mean that Fogen’s lawyers want to avoid the press finding out what the prosecutor has until they can create media reports to fake up his own position, and then jump the gun on the media so all we read for six months is how horrible SS is and what a slut she and her mother are and how they took advantage of poor Fogen. People get ready, there’s a trainin’ comin’.

  5. neveragain says:

So does it say anywhere that the cops met the house in a mess…cause gz said Sammy began throwing clothes guns …his belongings all over the place….or did he barricade tge place so he could tidy up……why didn’t he leave the guns out where Sammy threw them as proof ….why mess with the evidence?………just leave the guns alone and tell the officers …you see thos is how she started throwing the guns and my belonging all over the place…I left them right there so u could see plus I have a recording of the argument…….

    • racerrodig says:

Fogen also stated she threw his stuff outside all over the place and the pictures and video show nary a sock or T shirt on the lawn.

      My guess…….he’s lying……I’m shocked !!!

  6. Trained Observer says:

Local TV news reports tonight that Fogen has waived appearance at his January arraignment but is pleading not guilty.

    • You all have thoughtful comments says:

….probably so he won’t have to shave his beard sooner than he has to in order to look like the choirboy in court.

      • ay2z says:

Maybe he can induce some teen-like acne too. Oh, and put on more weight. Say, what happened to his b-p vest wearing??? That went by the by after trial too.

      • lurker says:

His attorney recognizes the risks of trotting him out in public (he might say something). Recall that O’Mara didn’t bring him along any more often than he had to either.

    • ay2z says:

waiving goodbye to his appearance anywhere but jail would be the best idea.

  16. MDH says:

I think the barricade is his way of trying to show that he was afraid of Ms. Scheibe. The liar had to make up some evidence and get his fairy tale out quickly before the PD arrived.

His argument will be that she got violent and, out of fear for his life, he pushed her outside and then put up the barricade.

What is even more stupid is that I bet dollars to doughnuts that at least 25% of the USA will believe poor widdle Georgie poo.

He is such an icon of right wing manhood.

    • Xena says:

      @MDH.

I think the barricade is his way of trying to show that he was afraid of Ms. Scheibe. The liar had to make up some evidence and get his fairy tale out quickly before the PD arrived.

If that’s Georgie’s story, then he should have removed the barricade when the cops arrived and opened the door for them. That barricade might be the issue that cooks his goose regardless of anything he says.

      • MDH says:

I hope that is the case.

      • jodiwankanobi says:

i’m not saying this is the case, just a thought, but could he have been considering a stand-off…it’s just when you hear of someone barricading themselves in it’s usually because they are planning to go out with a bang.

the police were lucky. Forcing their way in like they tried to do with a crazy gun loving killer waiting on the other side. Or maybe he’s lucky that they didn’t come in, guns a blazin’, because there was a crazy gun loving killer waiting on the other side.

        • lurker says:

I think it could easily have gone that direction, and the police were certainly aware of that potential.

        • fauxmccoy says:

jodi — there is a reason why most LEO officers cite domestic disturbances as the most dangerous situations they encounter and the ones they least prefer to enter.

          • racerrodig says:

I’m pretty sure the responding officer said this to himself….

“Christ Almighty……this shit head again…..now what?”

  17. neveragain says:

Gz says that she is pregnant so he did not want to stress her out by arguing with her…..but he allegedly pushes her pregnant sekf out…I guess pushing a pregnant woman is nit very stress inducing……how about just walking away from her after she called the cops…..y barricade yourself in….and the police had to push themselves in??

    • Lynn says:

His two potential reasons are either…
      1. He needed time to clean and lock the guns because he knew the cops were minutes away.
      2. He felt so threatened by SS that he worried she would (in her fragile pregnant state) bust back in the room and start more circus juggling of his guns causing them to fall on yet another piece of furniture. Therefore he stacked up the furniture against the door to protect both himself AND the furniture!

      I’ll take stupida$$ reasons for 5000, Alex.

On his 911 call he says she was tossing things around and broke the table but he wasn’t sure if it was his stuff or her stuff. Mumble, mumble.
Now he remembers the exact way it happened and she was throwing both the shotgun and his handgun. lol
SS says she didn’t know if the guns were loaded. What person, pregnant or otherwise, is going to hurl around possibly loaded guns?
And if you were packing them at the time, George, you expect us to think she overpowered you and took them away and tossed them around?
We know you would protect your precious guns with your life.
I guess the “softie” story will re-emerge and we will be made to think that he couldn’t fight off the likes of SS.

      • towerflower says:

One of the things listed into evidence was a sanitizing wipe. I wonder if he wiped down the shotgun stock after using it to smash the table, if so then hopefully some glass shards are found on the wipe.

        • jodiwankanobi says:

wow a sanitary wipe…they must have been pretty thorough then…i wonder what was so interesting about that wipe that they thought it to be evidence.

          • Appeared to have blood on it, so they collected it for forensic examination.

Too bad they didn’t swab the blood on the wall of the gym near the mats and preserve the swabs for forensic testing.

That was incompetent police work unless it was deliberate. If that were the case, the failure to preserve evidence would be evidence that a conspiracy existed to cover-up a homicide.

To further investigate this possibility, we would want to identify who decided not to swab it. Someone took a photo of the blood spatter on the wall, so we know that the police knew it was there.

I recall reading that someone said the blood had been there a long time, which sounds absurd to me because I seriously doubt the janitorial staff would neglect to clean something so obvious as a dried trail of dripping blood in plain view on a wall in the gym.

Therefore, the source of that excuse, who probably is a school official with responsibilities connected to the gym, must also be investigated as a potential member of a conspiracy to cover-up a homicide.

          • bettykath says:

You two are not talking about the same wipe. jodi is talking about the one taken for fogen’s case. Prof is talking about the one in Kendall’s case.

I think they took the wipe in fogen’s case to see if there are glass fragments on it to support Samantha’s story that he broke her glass table but wiped the gun clean.

      • SS is a juggler, don’cha know.

      • Soulcatcher says:

        Story #4…….
He wasn’t barracading himself in, he was moving the furniture arround so he could sweep and mop the floor. He was moving to Texas, and wanted to leave it clean. She wanted to cook me dinner before I left, and thinking it would stress her out more if I stuck around, and she’s pregnant and all, I didn’t want her stressed more, I said to her, “Sammy, you don’t really want to do that do you”, and she became upset and yelled at me to hurry up. It startled me and I dropped the broom on the table and it broke. I told her to move out of the way so I could finish, she grabbed her keys, and I went to help her out so she wouldn’t slip and fall,it was still wet in front of the door where I had mopped. I saw her dial the phone, and I thought she was calling in an order for chineese food like we did every Sunday. She started mumbeling something, I wasn’t really paying attention, you know how pregnant women get when they are pregnant and hungry, and I told her “whatever, just hurry up and go”, and I closed the door.

I don’t have any friends to talk to, so I called 911 cause I needed someone to talk to, and they always listen to me. I told them the police were out front, but i really didn’t want to talk to them, cause they look angry, and I know they are going to do what they did last time, and tell me to stop calling about everything. I said I would rather talk to them on the phone……

    • “…you would think it would be to have his lawyer there before opening his stupid mouth.” Imho, it doesn’t matter when gz talks to a lawyer -before, after, or during- the pending matter. Seemingly, he can say whatever he wants to whenever he wants to, and even though most everybody knows what he is saying is not the truth, he manages to turn the odds to his favor.

I was one of the many who suffered for several days great disbelief at the verdict in his murder trial. I was greatly disappointed with the verdict, and the jurors, lawyers, judge and most everybody else involved in his trial. In retrospect, I see it for what it was: Bad theater. But that’s ok. gz was found guilty in the Court of Karma and his sentence is being played out in front of those who keep up (and I am certainly one) with his encounters with his Karma. But I’m also concerned in a heightened way about my own Karma.

The lies, character assasination, vile and evil things, done and said, made me exam many of my attitudes, beliefs, assumptions. I don’t want to end up like Trayvon, and Karma forbid, like gz.

I know I couldn’t withstand the ass kicking he has yet to endure.

      Happy Thanksgiving to all.

  21. neveragain says:

But I thought Samantha’s mother also stated that she was pregnant….didn’t her mother say so when they were shopping around to have their story sold to the media??

  22. Two sides to a story says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if Fogen wanted to get Scheibe pregnant – what better way to secure a roof over your head when you have his problems – and I feel HE lied about it, not her. I think it’s all too easy to assume she lied to him because of the machinations some women go through to keep men, but I’ve seen narcissist types of males do this crap to make it seem like they had a closer relationship with a woman than they really did.

LIkely he wants the phones back because he sent a pic to Scheibe’s daughter. Of course, there’s also the fact that he probably can’t afford to buy another. And who knows what kind of smack he texts with his friends . . . you’d think he’d be careful with putting anything incriminating into text or e-mails, but this is a man who postures and holds his hand over his chest where he keeps a gun in a shoulder harness, and then destroys an iPad on camera.

    • Xena says:

Sam’s mom said that she miscarried. It would be highly improbable with Sam and George living together for him to not know whether that is true. Also, if she was pregnant and if she did miscarry, there should be some medical document to that effect. IOWs, State prosecutors might already know that George lied in his 911 call to give a story in his defense for why he would not stress Sam.

      • Trained Observer says:

Somehow I had missed Mom blathering about any miscarriage … last I knew she was backing Samantha’s denial of any pregnancy. I feel bad for the kid who is on the scene. With a mother and grandmother of this caliber, who needs any other trouble like Fogen?,

      • Rachael says:

Where is that? I didn’t see it.

        • Xena says:

In a later report, Sandoval said that he asked Scheibe’s mother, after the incident on Monday, whether her daughter was actually pregnant. “I asked on Monday, night when all this is was breaking,” Sandoval said, “and she laughed at me and said ‘No comment.’”

He later added that “Scheibe’s mother told Inside Edition she was not pregnant on Monday, and she miscarried months ago.”

          • Trained Observer says:

If she miscarried “months ago” — implication ancient history — that might tend toward ruling out Fogen.

Is her other kid an out of wedlock production? I would like to see that child permanently protected from the likes of GZ, the molester/murderer’pervert/psycho.

          • Xena says:

@Trained Observer. “Months ago” could be September or like a few days after Shellie filed for divorce and we all learned how much debt George is in.

It’s been a long time, and I know that some medical terms have changed, redefined or made ancient, but IIRC, a miscarriage was within a few weeks or less than 2 months of conception. There are some medical folks who comment here so maybe they know and can explain.

Is her other kid an out of wedlock production?

According to Frank Taaffe, Sam had her daughter at the age of 16.

        @ Xena, re:

IOWs, State prosecutors might already know that George lied in his 911 call….

Well, that would be a “best case scenario” – assuming the bombshell statement from GF’s mom that you reference is true.

WTF is the UP with GF’s mom??!! GF’s mom seems like a serious problem, from what I’ve seen so far.

      two sides to a story,

” there’s also the fact that he probably can’t afford to buy another.”

I suspect you have forgotten that the phones were in Shellie’s name because George Zimmerman’s credit was so poor! I can’t think it has gotten any better at this stage of his life… If you remember, it was brought out a long time ago that every thing was in her name, car, truck, phone, etc… Then you have a divorce in progress that prevents him from doing much with assets or even the money in the trust fund (if there is any left).. He might as well face it, he’s screwed in so many ways, that he really should think seriously about Peru….

      • Two sides to a story says:

Mmm, that’s right, they did put phones in Shellie’s name, no? But bought them with donation money – ?

    • Trained Observer says:

Fogen doesn’t seem to be having much luck in knocking up any of the women he’s hung out with … apparently they aren’t THAT stupid.

  23. fauxmccoy says:

what a flipping idiot — in all he has been through, he still does not get it that it is unwise to give statements to LE without a lawyer present. this illustrates the crux of the problem — that is both ignorant and arrogant. he still thinks he can talk (ok, LIE) his way out of anything.

what does he think we all heard on schiebe’s 911 call? i heard him force her out of the house. how does he think he can get around this fact? not to even mention that LE found schiebe locked out of her own home and the entrance barricaded. what a dumb fuck!

then there are his own conflicting stories about his cell phones. do they contain important recordings that would prove his innocence? doubtful, i suspect. they might, however, provide some repulsive confirmation of pictures sent to schiebe’s daughter and i hope LE gets a warrant to check, if necessary.

god only knows where the mystery pregnancy comes into this story, but i’ll chalk it up to a figment of the defendant’s imagination.

    • Xena says:

George needed the pregnant story in his defense for why he would not place her under stress neither push her. But, he had no logical reason to barricade the door unless it was to keep Sam out. George did not think it was stressful to barricade a pregnant woman from entering her house — but he didn’t want to stress her out. That’s his logic.

      • racerrodig says:

Only The 3 Stooges barricade a door…….well, and Fogen.

So he’s going to Texas eh?? They execute felons down there and it makes no difference white, black, Mexican,
        Afro – Peruvian.

Hey Fogen…..I’ll bet some of will help with the big move…..we’ll use my truck, er schruck.

Wouldn’t his statement about moving force the Judge to impose a higher bail ? In N.J. it would.

        • Xena says:

          @racerrodig.

Wouldn’t his statement about moving force the Judge to impose a higher bail ? In N.J. it would.

Maybe the judge looked at it from the standpoint that with only $144, George wouldn’t make it out of Florida without running out of gas money.

I’m wondering if the shruck is up for repo?

          • racerrodig says:

I still find it hard to believe none of the neighbors saw that Honda backed into the driveway so the tag would not be seen and didn’t think “…..hmmmmmmmmm?? maybe that’s Fogen’s schruck, er truck and since I’m so concerned about the kids in the neighborhood. Now I do see him walking around and he seems to look like some kind of undercover Neighborhood Watch, er, cop but ……………then again……Naaaaaaaaaa!!”

They saw him and described what he came across as and nobody said “That’s Phucking FogenPhoole”

          • Xena says:

Racerrodig. Yes, neighbors said that they thought Sam was dating an undercover cop.

Isn’t it basic logic that undercover cops never look like undercover cops? If undercover cops look like undercover cops, then they are not undercover.

So, there’s another reason why neighbors would think that, and my guess is because maybe some cop or “official” cars were at that house often enough to cause neighbors to believe that the male resident was an un-uniformed cop.

Perhaps a sheriff was trying to serve the divorce papers.

          • Xena says:

            Yahtc. That’s a good point.

          • fauxmccoy says:

the last accounting of the truck’s value i saw on shellie’s application for divorce. the stated value was $18k … i would bet that is what they owe on the thing and that they owe far more than it is worth.

      • fauxmccoy says:

        yup … whadda nutjob

        That’s great, Xena!

If you understand “ZimmerThugThink,” the creepy-a$$ cracker’s actions make complete sense (… not).

Problem is, the people he ACTUALLY barricaded out were law enforcement officers!! You’d think that fact would be considered noteworthy and reported more emphatically than it has been.

        • Xena says:

          @groans.

But but but, that would take the focus off Sam setting him up. People can accuse her of anything other than barricading George inside. The barricade is “George did it” because the police said so — not because Sam said it and can be called a liar.

Likewise, the DV with Shellie was “George said Shellie hit him on his back with the iPad so he took it from her.” It deflects from “George is taped destroying the iPad AFTER he took it from her.” There was no logical reason to destroy it unless it was to destroy evidence. I hope that Sims asks the judge to hold George in contempt of court for destroying marital property.

    • GrannyStandingforTruth says:

      fauxmcCoy,
Talking to the LE without a lawyer present would be true in every state but Florida. In Florida it appears to be okay, if your GZ and have someone fixing cases for you whenever you get into trouble. The whole justice department in Florida is filled with GZ’s buddies. Whatever, GZ tells them in their eyesight is the gospel truth. Everyone else is a lie.

They’ll let him go on this one too. Doesn’t matter though because justice is gonna be serve to GZ one way or the other because he lied about killing an innocent child walking home minding his own business.

You know when he can get away in a Southern state with assaulting a blond white woman, that let’s you know that he is above the law.

      • You all have thoughtful comments says:

I am still waiting, WAITING for TRUE justice to be served.

        Trayvon MUST have justice!!!

        • willisnewton says:

You and two million other peaceful petitioners.

“Justice for Trayvon” however isn’t going to come from a domestic violence conviction. And like it or not GZ was cleared of M2 charges in state court. That leaves a very narrow window left to serve justice through.

I too wish for justice – but not just or trayvon. We need “and justice for all” to make this nation great.

    • Trained Observer says:

Hey faux — it’s been working for this murdering turkey pretty well thus far. Especially on July 13.

Maybe Texas will provide a different environment.

      • fauxmccoy says:

wel, he’s got a ways to go before he is allowed to travel out of state.

        • Trained Observer says:

What are odds he’ll make a run for a Lone Star interlude in moment of panic before he regains control. I’d love to see him nailed over the state line, getting his bond revoked until trial and, hopefully,. We’d all be safer.

    • Malisha says:

But he need not learn his lesson about NOT speaking up to the police with a pack of lies because it WORKED for him to do that. Lie upon Lie upon Lie was ignored as a concocted story changed from one telling to the next and still, he got off. Since the prosecutors and the police are all of a mind to allow this killer to do as he pleases to whomsoever it pleases him to do it TO, his ignorant and arrogant attitude do not hamper or hurt him; they just serve to make any decent, logical-thinking law-abiding person angry and frustrated.

I’d say his mix of criminality, lying and abuse work for him. Only when he kills or otherwise victimizes somebody more protected than himself will we see him taken to task.

    • groans says:

Exactly! It makes me wonder just how much, and what type of, repulsive information might be stored on those phones. If they’d prove his innocence, why demand their return? Whatever money tree he’s obviously still got growing out there somewhere can easily provide him with another couple or few phones, I’m sure.

  24. Lynn says:

Many GZ supporters were claiming that maybe some of the 5 guns were hers since she had a CCW permit. If that’s the case, he was planning on stealing them and running off to Texas. lol It reads to me like they found all 5 guns in the soft case, right?
SS says that only the AR-15 and the shotgun were in the case. Did GZ get all the guns, wipe them down with a sanitizing wipe, and locked them up.
