Interview Samantha did with local 6…

George Zimmerman’s girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, described Zimmerman as alone, depressed and fascinated by guns in the days after after his acquittal on charges in connection with the death of Trayvon Martin.George Zimmerman’s girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, described Zimmerman as alone, depressed and fascinated by guns in the days after after his acquittal on charges in connection with the death of Trayvon Martin.Scheibe and her mother, Hope Mason, spoke with Local 6 on and off through text messages and phone calls over the past three weeks as they talked about participating in an on camera interview aboutScheibe’s relationship with Zimmerman. That interview never materialized, but the conversations provided extensive details about the couple’s relationship and Zimmerman’s life after the verdict.Scheibe first entered the public eye as the mystery blonde seen in news helicopter video consoling George Zimmerman after that infamous iPad incident with his wife, Shellie.By the time of that September incident, Shellie had filed for divorce, and George Zimmerman had started dating Scheibe. Zimmerman eventually moved into her home. But soon, Scheibe said her relationship with Zimmerman decayed as he fought bouts of depression. She said she feared him, but said she stayed with him because she thought she could help him.By the end of October, Scheibe said she demanded that Zimmerman get professional help for depression. She claims that in response, Zimmerman moved all of her furniture, clothes and food out of her Seminole County home.“She’s scared is the bottom line,” Scheibe’s mother, Mason, wrote in a text message.Scheibe and her mother started to seek interviews with national media outlets. Mason said she hoped by Scheibe doing the interview, she would force Zimmerman to get help – and the attention would keep Scheibe safe.“Things have gotten hotter on her end. He has shown up two times already today to her house, so we need to make a move sooner than later so she stays safe,” Mason wrote in a text message. But soon after, Scheibe said she and Zimmerman apologized to one another, and he moved the furniture back in.But Scheibe said the relationship continued to be volatile. She said at times she feared for her life, and other times “everything was fine.”After one argument with Zimmerman, Scheibe said she went to her mother’s house to get away from him. While there, Mason said Scheibe’s daughter received a text message from George Zimmerman. Mason said that message was a still image from an intimate home video of Scheibe and Zimmerman.“He’s now threatened her in writing and even sent a portion of the video to her baby girl,” Mason wrote in a text message. But still Scheibe stayed with Zimmerman and the couple reunited.Just last Thursday, Mason was still seeking a national interview. But this time she was promising both George Zimmerman and Samantha Scheibe. That interview never happened, and just four days later, Scheibe called 911 saying Zimmerman had threatened with a gun.THE RELATIONSHIPSamantha Scheibe’s mother says her daughter did not hunt down George Zimmerman to create a relationship with the man found “not guilty” in the shooting death of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.Scheibe said she first met Zimmerman more than 12 years ago when she was in her late teens — before Zimmerman was married to Shellie. Scheibe says they dated for a short time.Even though their relationship didn’t work out at that time, Scheibe says she was a constant friend to George — and to Shellie — throughout their marriage. When the relationship between George and Shellie started to sour, Scheibe says she stepped in to “be there” for George as a friend, and it was during that time a romance began to kindle. She echoed a sentiment about Zimmerman that many testified about during his trial: George was a nice, warm man and would help you with whatever you needed help with.He was “Georgie,” she saidTRAYVON MARTIN SHOOTINGScheibe says George and Shellie’s relationship had soured by February 2012.On February 26 — the night of the shooting — she says Shellie and George had gotten into a heated argument. Shellie had left to spend the night elsewhere, and that’s why she wasn’t home when the shooting happened.Talk of divorce had already started, she says.THE TRIALDuring his murder trial, George and Shellie shared a home owned by Shellie’s parents in Lake Mary. While they arrived and departed the courthouse together everyday, Schiebe says they were not “a couple,” in the traditional sense. Shellie and George were living very separate lives, not speaking much even though they continued to live together, she says.Even though his parents testified on his behalf during the trial, George didn’t speak much with his parents, she says.AFTER THE VERDICTScheibe says after the jury returned a “not guilty” verdict on all charges stemming from the shooting of Trayvon Martin, George began to change. When the media fervor surrounding him went away, she and her mother say Zimmerman spiraled into what she calls a very deep depression. She said doctors prescribed medication to help him with the bouts of sadness and despair he was feeling, but he got to a point where he stopped taking it.She says George would spend days in bed, refusing to get up and refusing to take his medication. She claims the depression got worse.Scheibe says there was time when she walked into his bedroom, and she saw an empty bottle of sleeping pills on his sidetable. She claims he overdosed. She wasn’t able to revive him and watched his breathing. When he finally did wake up, he started crying and eventually put a gun inside his mouth, telling her he was ready to end it all. She says she talked him out of it.Scheibe says Zimmerman threatened to take his own life on more than one occasion, and she says the threats seem to come about when he was not one of the news headlines. She says she believes Zimmerman enjoyed the attention he was getting in the news, while also knowing he wasn’t able to carve out a “normal existence” if he was always a headline. Also after the verdict, Scheibe said Zimmerman formed an inseparable bond with his dog, Oso. Zimmerman wouldn’t go anywhere Oso couldn’t go at a moment’s notice, which is why he drove virtually everywhere he went, including Texas, where he again made headlines after being pulled over in a traffic stop by police.FIGHT WITH SHELLIEGeorge’s televised fight with his estranged wife Shellie happened on Sept. 9, 2013, at a home they had rented from her mother, Machelle Dean.Scheibe says she and Zimmerman had spent the morning at Kel Tec, a gun manufacturer in Cocoa. On their way back to the Orlando area, Scheibe says Zimmerman accessed the home surveillance cameras at the Lake Mary home belonging to her mother using an app on his phone. She says he saw Shellie was moving her things out, but she says she also say him moving things that belonged to him. That’s when they drove to the house, and the fight escalated, Scheibe said.Scheibe says she watched as Shellie hit George over the head repeatedly with her iPad. That’s when she said George took the iPad away from her, broke it over his knee and threw it to the ground.Scheibe claims George did have a gun on him that day, and it wasn’t in the trunk of his car.Scheibe refused to give police a statement that day, as reflected in the police report obtained by Local 6.No charges were ever filed, and the case was closed.ZIMMERMAN’S VERSION OF EVENTSAt his first appearance Tuesday on charges connected to the alleged domestic violence incident with Scheibe, Zimmerman’s lawyers said the first they had heard about the allegations that Zimmerman had suicidal thoughts was at the hearing.“I do not know if it’s true or not,” Jeff Dowdy of the Seminole County Public Defender’s Office said in response to a reporter’s question about Zimmerman’s alleged suicidal thoughts. In his 911 call during the Monday incident with Scheibe, Zimmerman said, Scheibe had “gone crazy on me.”Zimmerman told the dispatcher that he believed Scheibe was pregnant with their child. Seminole County Sheriff’s officials say Scheibe is not pregnant.Zimmerman said Scheibe was the one who smashed things in the house during the argument. “I guess she thought I was going to argue with her. But she’s pregnant. I’m not going to put her through that kind of stress,” Zimmerman said

  2. crazy1946 says:

Professor, With the divorce papers having been served on George Zimmerman today, I must admit you were 100% correct when you said you felt they had been filed, and I was wrong when I guessed that they might not have been… Darn, crow doesn’t taste too bad once you get past those pesky feathers…. 😉

  3. crazy1946 says:

towerflower, I would question if one of them can be taffee, the home owners association and their insurance company could probably prevent that. I don’t think he would be very welcome in that gated community… But I may be wrong, it won’t be the first time…. Those bigots may welcome him like a hero….

  4. crazy1946 says:

Poor little piggy, locked up in jail for being an A**hole, no where to live, needs to find $900 to get out of jail, no longer able to wear his penis extension, and no girl friend, wife has him officially served with divorce papers, life is tuff when your a George Zimmerman!…
P.S.: I forget to list, he must wear a tracking device… and can’t leave the state or use his allegedly missing passport…

    • towerflower says:

His attorney said they have two homes lined up for him to stay at. My guess is Taffee and Osterman…..but then the person he stays with must remove their guns also per court order so that will remove Osterman.

  5. towerflower says:

One minute the attorney for him claimed that he has close ties to the community and then when they don’t want a 3rd party to collect his belongings they claim he doesn’t have anyone to rely on to do this. So which is it Mr. Attorney? Wish the judge had picked that up.

    • fauxmccoy says:

good catch! i suspect due to control issues, that he would not trust anyone.

    • crazy1946 says:

towerflower, I suspect it has less to do with the 3rd party and more to do with the issue of the police being with to do so, if they do like most jurisdictions do, there will be an inventory done of what is picked up. Now does anyone else wonder what is in his belongings he does not want the SO to know about? Hmmm….

      • towerflower says:

crazy….he wanted to go with LE, he wanted to be there and not a 3rd party, that was one of the things they argued about. He said he didn’t have anyone in the area in which he could rely on, when earlier they said he had close ties to the community. This to me was more about control than belongings. It was an attempt to get in one more “see I can still do what I want.” The judge didn’t buy it and kept the 3rd party only order with LE.

        • crazy1946 says:

towerflower, If he was able to go and pick up his things, there would be no inventory, the inventory is done to ensure that he can not come back and claim some things were not given to him that were picked up…. the inventory is to protect the 3rd party and the LE that does the picking up. Not to protect the belongings of Zimmerman….

  6. towerflower says:

The suicide watch was because of claims he made to his girlfriend of taking his life. He made similar claims with his ex fiancée.

  7. towerflower says:

This is what happened……$9000 bond, can’t leave the state of Florida. No contact with victim, cannot go to the home where she lives. A 3rd party with LE will go to the home to retrieve his belongings, he protested that saying he wanted to be there and the judge denied it. Asked about the whereabouts of his passport, claims he doesn’t know and his old attorney might have it (smells like BS). Must wear a GPS monitoring device and best of all NO GUNS!!!!

A new charge of assault came up in which she said she was physically attacked by GZ last week and he tried to strangle her. Judge mentions this too. Next hearing Jan. 7, 2014.

  8. towerflower says:

Well his has an attorney, Jeff Dowdy, Deputy Chief at Seminole County Public Defenders Office. Dowdy claims that George is indigent and will be representing him.

    Bond hearing on live now….HLN

    • towerflower says:

Reading of rights, does he understand the charges and received paperwork. Judge finds reasonable cause.. next hearing Jan. 7, 2014.

      • towerflower says:

HLN, talking over prosecutor….taking a break. But I did hear that his girlfriend is in fear and does not want him to return to the home or have contact.

  9. crazy1946 says:

Crane-Station, Hope you are doing better?
George Zimmerman is a big man when it comes to dealing with a woman or a child, but did you notice he was so scared of the “male” police officers that he could not even leave the safety of his chair to go and remove the furniture from in front of the door out of fear.. What a terrible waste of air space this individual is… a true coward, if he is released on bond, how will he ever survive with out his penis extension strapped to his backside?

    • towerflower says:

Oh but the cops scare me so much…..he already told people he fear of the system when he used that as his excuse to lie about his finances for bail. Now he wants everyone to believe that he didn’t want to open the door to the police because they were angry and knocking on the doors and windows. Even at the end of the call you can hear his scream about the dog.

      • Lynn says:

What gets me is the scrolling news at the bottom of every news channel and the police stating that he was “cooperative” when they arrived.
He refused to answer the door upon multiple knockings and wouldn’t go outside when the dispatcher asked him to. That is the uncooperative to me.

  10. From the GZ 911 bogus bullshit most recent call: “I just wanted to leave, and she told me that she is pregnant with our child…”

First of all, I always share deeply personal, non-emergency information with the 911 operator, particularly if it’s made up (the pregnancy)

Second, every single damn GZ 911 call is the same thing and they all sound like 2-5-I. Goes like this: ‘I had two beers five hours ago and I was just minding my own business…’

You can add the ‘when these two dudes’ part.

In other words, he is always ALWAYS the victim. Always just minding his own business when he, she, they, attacked him for no reason… God, I want to throw up.

    • Trained Observer says:

Right … She told me this and she told me that, and suddenly a missed or late period morphs into a full-blown pregnancy, with HIS child no less. Barf.

Whatever transpired is clearly all HER fault. Ideally, the lease is in her name only and he has no right to return if he gets sprung on bail.

The woman obviously isn’t too bright or she wouldn’t have taken up with him, but maybe now she’s come to her senses and will spill plenty of beans on him that might help speed up the Fogen divorce and facilitate confiscation of his weapons.

Trayvon’s heartbreaking murder aside, Fogen has become a public nuisance who needs to be penned up for the safety of all.

      • As for her, I think she’s got some stones. She’s young, and it might have been trendy for a minute to hang out with this freak, but at least she made that call when he showed his true colors. Good for her. From a legal standpoint, there is ‘excited utterance’ in her call, but not in his.

        • Rachael says:

His call was calculated – to let everyone know the truth he said. LMAO!!!! Hahahahahahahaha. More like let everyone know what a flagrant fool he is.

          • Malisha says:

See how the enablers have enhanced his arrogance? Now he calls the police to “let everyone know the truth” as if he is the sole arbiter of “THE TRUTH.” He is now worse than he was when he sat there and said “The suspect emerged from the darkness [and said] ‘you got a fuckin’ problem homie?’ and I said, ‘no, I don’t have a problem.'”

Now he feels secure in pointing out that it is not “he said/she said” but “she said/he truthed.”

Whom do we have to thank for this?

          • That call was beyond it. We already know, and have known his mo all along, here at this site. But dang, dude, how long does it have to be before people get that there is a great big elephant in the living room: a man, on the loose, who is dangerous. What does it take? I see that the Vietnam vet and his wife, who supported GZ at trial are now done with him. Hell, we could have told them that, a long time ago, saved them some grief and time.

  11. Boyd says:

he can take an event change a few facts and re-spin it., Use your bias to favor him. Here just add a pregnancy and reverse roles.

Now if this wacko can fool a justice system several times, imagine what a team high priced corporate lawyers, lobbyists can do.

  12. Trained Observer says:

Wonder how media missed the Oct. 29 red light incident? His traffic ticket costs alone are piling up. Have any been paid? Now, with yesterday’s activity, he’ll need a new lawyer, possibly court appointed. What a fine kettle of fish in which this murderer can stew.

    • Boyd says:

ha ha. missed that one. I think he’s trying to tell us something.
      “I got away with it”

    • Dave says:

I think he got off with warnings on the other traffic stops. It appears that the Central Florida police have finally gotten fed up with him. He’s been costing them too much money.

      • fauxmccoy says:

dave — i think you are right. they know he is a liability at this point, his infamy and continued bad acts are just racking up the bills for local LE. i suspect that they too are tired of the perpetual drama machine.

    • crazy1946 says:

TO, In some states, I have noticed, that if a man has enough money to make bond the opinion of the court seems to be that he should also have enough money for a lawyer. Wouldn’t it be hilarious if the court appointed Ben Crump to be his attorney? Just wishful thinking…..

  13. ay2z says:

And leaving the CMR vs O’Mara Mark in for good measure as it must be linked to his name for some reason (unpaid bills?? naw, he’d not do that!)

  14. crazy1946 says:

When I listened to George Zimmerman’s call to the 911 operator, something stood out (IMO) like a big waving red flag to expose the mind set he held! I really expected someone else to bring it up, so more attention would be placed on his words, but that never happened, so I suppose that I will. Go to the 911 recording and listen to it, carefully, especially at about the 4:10 to 4:15 mark, you will hear him say “they will just do the same thing they did before”! He, because of the non prosecution in the alleged attack on Mrs. George (Shellie) Zimmerman and her father by the Lake Mary PD, thought that he would be questioned and allowed to go on his way! Can you imagine his surprise when he suddenly realized that these officers were actually going to do the job they were being paid to do? Wonder how many more punch holes his “get out of jail free” card can hold?

    • fauxmccoy says:

i caught that line too, crazy. he clearly expected that he’d be left to his own devices after just making up stories. ALL of his interaction with the law has just reinforced his lifelong habit of making stuff up on the spot to get him out of trouble. has worked with his folks, teachers, employers and up until now, LE.

i think at this point though, he has hit the big time. it will not be so easy anymore and he will keep escalating until he is stopped, one way or another.

      • crazy1946 says:

fauxmccoy, Darn girl, I wish you had posted it instead of me, then perhaps it would have received the attention it deserved…

        • fauxmccoy says:

          @crazy … maybe it just did? 😉

it was a small, throw away line, but it spoke volumes.

          • crazy1946 says:

fauxmccoy, Can you imagine for just a moment, if those words had be focused on by the media (exposing to the entire world the arrogant attitude displayed by those words) how much more pressure would be (or perhaps should have been) placed on the legal system in Florida insisting that this man be taken down? If I heard his words then the media must have, why did they ignore them? If you think for a bit, those words were probably the most important words that individual has uttered in a long time, yet they were ignored? Hmm, will justice be ignored once again? I suppose we will simply have to wait and see… any bets that it will?

          • fauxmccoy says:

crazy — i agree. the rest of the call seemed well scripted. this was the one glance we have into what is really going on. it was as close as he gets to being ‘real’ and there is still a sense of unreality about it all.

like you, i pick up on what others might consider minutiae. it’s the little things that come through … signal to noise and all that. rest of the call was just noise.

          • crazy1946 says:

fauxmccoy, Many times we read an article or listen to a person speak, and base our opinion not on what was written or what was said, but instead on what we thought (assumed?) he said or wrote. I have a tendency to read and or listen to the entire article first, only to go back and read it several times to ensure that what I read/heard was what was said instead of what I wanted to hear. Many times after reading/listening to something several times I realize that what was said was not what I heard… again as you said the truth is often found in the smallest of details in a story… You see a lot of people on blogs that fail to actually read the article and only read enough to find the points that prove their preconceived opinion. Too bad, often if they had actually read the entire post they would have realized the author’s intent was quite the opposite of what they thought they read/ heard… Hmmm, guess that was a rambling nonsense type of post, or was it?

          • fauxmccoy says:

not to me, crazy … but i’m a bit of a speed reader. there are many times (good novels) when i wish i could slow myself down. i do take my time though in articles like this and comments.

i listened to that 911 call many times. first for laughs, it was nuts. i like listening repetitively, you can hear the subtext eventually.

my two big take-aways were *that* line of unfettered access to his thought process and what i suspect are completely normal vitals after such adrenalin production, upheaval, and exertion (moving all that furniture at his size could not be easy).

the two together indicate a disturbed psych profile.

          • crazy1946 says:

fauxmccoy, One more small detail that would have been easy to overlook in his 911 call was his concern for the dog, that says that in his haste to dispose of the weapon and find a safe place to await the police he totally disregarded the welfare of his dog… I wonder if when the police entered he was laying don on his stomach with his hands clasped over the back of his head out of fear? One good thing to think about, the dog was probably taken by animal control and if the “divorce filing” is true, then Mrs. George (Shellie) Zimmerman should now be in possession of the dog… Hopefully she will take better care of the dog than he was…

    • ay2z says:

hmm, that was what his newest vic alluded to in her call, ‘he knows how to play this game’.

Was he speaking to her when he said that about ‘they will do the same thing…’ and ‘before’ could point to the last time the two were together when he did it with SZ.

Get the impression from yesterday’s presser, that OC isn’t going to fool around with kid gloves this time.

      • crazy1946 says:

        ay2z,

“Was he speaking to her when he said that about ‘they will do the same thing…”

Because it was his words, and he was speaking to the 911 operator at the time, and because it was after he indicated fear of the officers (who were knocking on the door and windows), I might guess he was actually speaking to himself, to reassure his own mind that he was going to escape this episode unscathed as he has always done before! I wonder if he will now regret that he once again walked away from the protective arms of Daddy? Now the question, will daddy jump to his rescue once again, or has he reached the point that even daddy will refuse to help? Has his “his get out of jail free card” finally received it’s last punch?

  15. MDH says:

I have the very sad feeling that George’s lie about the dialog involving TM had a germ of truth. It was George who said “your going to die tonight” as he pointed and shot.

His whole MO is so easy to see through. He takes what is the truth or what he figures other will find in evidence and spins it in to some sort of “believable” tale that requires close examination to find multiple inconsistent statements or outright slips of the tongue that prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he is a liar.

That’s why I find the so-called letter of the law defenders of the TM verdict worthy of contempt. Raising reasonable doubt requires that the source of testimony is credible and does not have a vested interest in the outcome of the trial. It WAS that simple.

Over here, a sharp poster has already noted that George called 9-11 and stated he did not pull a gun. How would he know that the lady would tell the police about something that did not happen, unless it did?

Sadly, when Serino caught George saying “that is not my scream”, he helped George regain cover by saying “that’s you, George”.

What Serino did at that point in time is a sorry window in to a society that has enabled this monster.

    • towerflower says:

George is not stupid, he knew the cops were outside and if he had only opened the door and talked to them, that everything he said would not make it into the record. He knew that the 911 call would be made part of the public record and released to the media. This was a way for him to get his “alibi” out to the masses with no delay. He knew that it didn’t matter if the 911 operator got the word to the cops since his objective was to get his story/version to the media. Remember he doesn’t have media loving MOM to speak for him now.

      • fauxmccoy says:

yup – he missed his calling. while he may not be brilliant, he surely is crafty. had he channeled that energy into something decent, he’d do fairly well in PR with minimal training … but that would be work.

  16. ay2z says:

Where did he hide his gun? (s)?

  17. Sophia33 says:

I just heard Fogen’s 911 call. The monotone nature of his voice in this situation, when he barricaded himself in a room is a hallmark sign of a sociopath. Being a sociopath means that he is incapable of remorse. In capable really of fear. They lack integrity and but are offended when people challenge their integrity. It’s nuts.

    • fauxmccoy says:

what struck me, sophia, is that the sheriff response time was 3 minutes. there was precious little time, but zimwad managed to lock up his guns, barricade the door (no small effort at his size) and was CALMLY spinning criminally psychotic webs of lies within just minutes of what was an enormous burst of adrenalin. what would you bet his vitals were completely normal in his 911 call?

this, i find very disturbing and it is most definitely a pattern.

      • Dave says:

He’s down to 230 pounds, according to the police report. Apparently he lost around 70 pounds in 3 or 4 months. Strict diet and rigorous exercise or….?

I wonder if they drugtested him this time.

  18. ay2z says:

Orange County criminal docket, he’s been to court in OC in his past antics and got a pass on that one.

    • ay2z says:

The link doesn’t wor for the record itself, use the case ID 5782626 or look in criminal felony, was the assault on police officer charge.

    • Dave says:

Interesting. He was ticketed for running a red light on Oct. 29. Case is pending.

      • ay2z says:

good catch, pays to not narrow the search for this guy! Never know what you’ll find out!

Hoot if he pulls Judge Strickland, a no nonsense, judge’s judge.

      • Lynn says:

        http://myclerk.myorangeclerk.com/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=8676970

The neighbors say they only saw him leave in his truck a couple times in the months he lived there. But rest assured he can’t be careful and obey traffic laws because he’s above all that.

It’s been weeks, George. Pay Orange County their $164!!!

      • Lynn says:

In every other traffic infraction, he waits until court and hopes the officer doesn’t show up. (Probably daddy’s doing.)
I’m thinking this one might be a red light camera ticket. They are all over the Orlando area. Got it in Winter Park, Fl. Every suburb in the Orlando area has had to deal with him. SMH.

  19. Trained Observer says:

I love waking up to thoughts that Fogen is behind bars and not endangering folks on the highway or pointing guns in people’s faces.

  20. MDH says:

The worst case scenario is that George has burned another bridge that enables him to sponge off of a patsie in order to have shelter. thus pushing him closer to dealing with real streets to do the dance with Mr. D with real thugs. And on that floor, George has two left feet.

  21. groans says:

Thanks to Yahtzee, who reminded me of this powerful LLMPapa video by posting it on Xena’s blog tonight.

  22. jodiwankanobi says:

interesting that he use to have a hand gun, he got away with murder and is now the proud owner of an arsenal of shot guns.

killing a kid and gaining unconditional adoration and support for it must have been quite the ego boost.

kids, women, dogs….who wouldn’t be attracted to such a virile man.

now excuse me while i throw up in my mouth a little.

    • towerflower says:

He has his new Kel-tec assault shotgun, an AR-15 and I believe his girlfriend said he also had two handguns. His paranoia is getting the best of him.

      • racerrodig says:

Maybe one of the neighbors, who know who he is now can call 911 and say…..

There’s been a suspicious fat body around here…….ummmmm

        late 20’s…………

      • Dave says:

He’s unemployed, living in his girlfriend’s house, can’t pay his bills, but he can splash out on fancy firearms.

        • towerflower says:

Remember they had the fundraiser up north, where a gun store sent him quite a bit of money to replace his handgun and to purchase more.

          • fauxmccoy says:

we can also been assured that his new ‘AR’ did not come cheaply…. it likely came at the expense of his failure to pay his legal expenses with that ‘legal defense fund’. lord knows, he hasn’t earned an honest dime.

and how juvenile to say the cops on site were ‘upset’ with him. i’ve seen LE in a variety of situations and ‘upset’ seems like the wrong word here. i’m sure all they cared about was the danger of the situation they in which were placed, not any personal animus toward george.

  23. J4TMinATL says:

Goodnight all. Good to see we haven’t given up the fight. It was nice to catch up with many of you today.

Hugs and Kisses to Trayvon Benjamin Martin who is in Heaven.

  24. towerflower says:

For those wondering: From the Florida Dept of Agriculture which regulates the Concealed licenses and wondering what gets his license taken away permanently.

First to suspend his license it is covered by 790.06 (3) which in part says this: “The department shall, upon notification by a law enforcement agency, a court, or the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and subsequent written verification, suspend a license or the processing of an application for a license if the licensee or applicant is arrested or formally charged with a crime that would disqualify such person from having a license under this section, until final disposition of the case. The department shall suspend a license or the processing of an application for a license if the licensee or applicant is issued an injunction that restrains the licensee or applicant from committing acts of domestic violence or acts of repeat violence.”

To permanently or temporary restrict him this will govern his license:
    *A felony conviction.
*Having adjudication withheld or sentence suspended on a felony or misdemeanor crime of violence unless 3 yrs have elapsed since probation or other conditions set by the court have been fulfilled.
*A conviction for a violent crime in the last 3 yrs, either misdemeanor or felony.
*Having been issued a domestic violence injunction or an injunction against repeat violence that is currently in force.

The best case scenario would be for him to finally be convicted of a felony, that would prohibit him from ever holding a concealed license again (unless he receives a pardon and has his rights restored).

    • Rachael says:

What worries me with an asshole like him is the same thing as say a restraining order. It doesn’t stop anyone, and perhaps makes some more intent. Just because he legally can’t have a gun, doesn’t mean he won’t have one and someone won’t get hurt. People drive on suspended driver’s licenses all the time. He is the kind of person who will still get a gun, even if it has to be illegally obtained, and he will be convinced he needs one now more than ever and in his paranoia, someone will get killed. He just needs to be put away.

  25. My mind still goes back to that young barely formed child Trayvon taking a walk to buy some candy..

    • Rachael says:

I know. I have a son, not much older, and that is what got me into this whole thing. And this doesn’t give Trayvon the justice he deserves, but still, I’m glad it is happening. It needs to happen. True, it took him threatening a while woman, because obviously killing a black kid is no big deal, so while I see and feel that, it is still justice. It will happen.

    • Drew says:

      Yeah.

      He should do it.

      • J4TMinATL says:

Asshole will be in jail for 3 years if prosecution isn’t corrupt…oh wait

        • Dave says:

I doubt whether he’ll get that much time. Nobody was actually injured and it would be his first conviction. The Malicious Mischief charge (a misdemeanor) will be easy enough to prove but the other charges depend entirely on the testimony of one uninjured complaining witness.

I predict that we;ll see a plea bargain. Zimmerman pleads guilty to Malicious Mischief with 3 to 6 months in jail and the other charges are dropped.

          • Rachael says:

Unfortunately you are probably right but it still won’t upset me. I’m happy for anything he gets, even though nothing would be enough. Regardless, if it is only a short time, and maybe even a long(er) time, he’ll end up back because HE’S a thug, as well as severely mentally ill.

          • Malisha says:

Melissa Alexander never injured anyone. She got 20 years.

          • fauxmccoy says:

            @malisha

EXACTLY!! i have some real hope that this will be pursued vigorously. you can do a lot of ugly shit in southern states, but raising a gun to a white woman is frowned upon.

    • fauxmccoy says:

cops still searching is a good sign. they’re clearly more invested in this than they were in the DV with shellie situation. SA seems pretty keen to pursue as well. at this point, they have to realize gz is a liability to the community. i may not like their politics, but i don’t think they’re completely stupid.

      • groans says:

Yes. While I’m happy they’re more invested in this one, it did make me SMH that a DV against a mistress is being treated more seriously than DV against a wife. Hell, they even had a VIDEO of the monster destroying evidence in Shellie’s case, and then turn around a say only: “Gee Willikers. We just don’t have any evidence!”

If they couldn’t recognize that liability to their community by at least February 26, 2012, and if they’re not stupid, then they certainly are corrupt and racist!

        • difference is this time he actually pointed a gun at someones head and didn’t just make suggestions…and it was her house, and the dickhead locked himself in. He’s lucky the cops didn’t come in firing because they don’t know if he’s got his guns pointed at the door or not. Of course if he was a black suspect he would be full of holes by now.

        • fauxmccoy says:

yes, it’s a sad state of affairs that he can shoot black kids at will and knock his wife around … but point a gun at this ‘lily white flower of southern womanhood’ and suddenly LE takes it seriously.

  29. riisey007 says:

Zimmerman in all his selfishness call 911 and takes away from some poor victim that is out there needing help so that he can get his lies out there. What kind of woman dates Zimmerman anyway? Zimmerman evidently is off of his meds. Where is is brother, mother and father?

  30. Sophia33 says:

How much time can he get for this? And is this enough to prevent him from having a gun legally?

    • Lynn says:

~IF~ released on bail tomorrow, at least the SAO sounds like they’ll ask for his gun until this is resolved. This was from early news today before he was charged.

“Presumably Zimmerman will appear before Seminole County Judge Fred Schott tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. in Sanford and learn more about the case against him and whether he will remain locked up.

Chris White, chief of operations for the State Attorney’s Office in Sanford, said he had received no paperwork from the Sheriff’s Office, detailing what happened but that if the case involves domestic violence, he would likely ask that Zimmerman be barred from having access to guns, should a judge allow him to go free.”

      • Sophia33 says:

So the world will be safe from a Fogen with a gun for a short period of time.

      • Rachael says:

I thought at the press conference they said he would also have to wear an ankle bracelet if does not remain locked up, as is standard in all DV cases.

        • Lynn says:

That is true. A GPS device is standard practice. The gun restrictions would be up to the judge, as he isn’t convicted of the felony now. Fingers crossed.

    • Dave says:

Conviction of a domestic violence misdemeanor or any felony would make him ineligible to own guns under federal law.

  31. Sophia33 says:

Why are we not surprise. You know what the ironic thing is? The Fogen supporters called Trayvon Martin a ‘thug’. But the only one who has ever displayed thuggish behavior has been Zimmerman. The Fogen supporters can’t blame Shelly for this one. So now we are to believe that THREE women are all out to get George and accused him of domestic violence?

  32. Trained Observer says:

If judge grants bond tomorrow , any speculation on how much … or whether he’ll be able to make bail?

    • Dave says:

My guess is $25,000. He might still have $2500 left from his “defense fund”. Donations this time out are going to be pretty sparse.

  33. groans says:

Time to ramp up the beg sites again! I believe he’ll need to pay up front, this go-round. Already stiffed at least two lawyers in town (and that’s one more foolish lawyer than most psychopaths are able to con).

  39. ay2z says:

LOL, he calls 011 and says he wants everyone to know the truth, ‘she’ has weapons, ‘she’ went crazy, ‘I never pulled a firearm…’.

Q how would he know to say that about not pulling firearm on her, as at this time she was outside, door shut, and talking to police, also she called 911 from outside.

She did all the breaking, he says. He says he has nothing to say with the officers at first. ‘Can I call my attorney?’
OS has the call on video.

  40. dianetrotter says:

Now is the time for Juror 37 to write her book about how she persuaded everyone to let a murderer go and she is proud of it.

  41. Trained Observer says:

If Shellie’s divorce papers haven’t yet been served, tonight would be a good night for tracking old Fogen down!

      • crazy1946 says:

Professor, Do we know for a fact that the divorce has actually been filed? I have yet to see a copy that was stamped by the court on the I-net…

        • I’m assuming that it was filed, since the lawyer said he had filed it. I have not seen a Clerk’s Office stamp, so I cannot say for certain that it was, but have no reason to believe it wasn’t.

        • crazy1946 says:

Professor, the reason that I asked is that when I filed for divorce from my now ex-wife, my attorney filed the papers on a Thursday afternoon and she was served the next day (Friday). Mrs. Zimmerman supposedly filed on a Thursday but the altercation with George Zimmerman was the following Tuesday, why was he not served at that point?

    • fauxmccoy says:

      visitor for zimmerman!

      bwahahahahahahahahahaha

      • Trained Observer says:

Fogen: “No thanks, I’m not accepting callers tonight.”

        • fauxmccoy says:

at this point, it would be very easy for the sheriff to serve him … or in court tomorrow, shellie’s lawyerr can 🙂

          • Trained Observer says:

Would love that service on video!

          • Malisha says:

In some states (I did not check Florida) when a person is in jail but not yet convicted of anything, it is not legal to serve civil process on them. That’s probably been done to avoid false arrests specifically done to assist in service of process, something like that. As I say, I did not check Florida.

          • fauxmccoy says:

rats! but it does make some sense. … oh well, he is contained, for now and will be released at some point.

        • ay2z says:

          Said ‘in code’ of course.

    • ay2z says:

Excellent point. Track Susanne down too, and find out why she said ‘he knows the game’ in her 911 call. No doubt she knows where the gun was and what happened after the iPad breaking incident, how he smoothed all that over for himself.

She may also have witnessed directly, what happened with Shellie.

      • Lynn says:

Concerning the Shellie/Dean altercation…Blondie told the cops there were guns in GZ’s truck. Cops were just too stupid to get a search warrant and look.

“She refused to provide a statement on the scene though she confirmed to police that there were guns in the truck in which she and Zimmerman were travelling. Both have concealed weapons permits.”

        • racerrodig says:

I’m sure foreplay with Fogen means barrel stroking for sure…..9mm, 45 ACP, .223, 12 guage. Makes no never mind to him.

I’m thinking his soon to be ex’s are thinking along the lines of “snub nose” as in 3 inch barrel on that one.

  42. dee truth says:

George says Samantha is pregnant. Samantha says she’s not. hmmmm.

    • Trained Observer says:

One of them is wrong on that score! 🙂 🙂 🙂

    • Boyd says:

That entire Zimmerman clan are liars. he said “pregnant” to make her look crazy. he was caught cold in the act, he was afraid to open the door and talk to police. he made up his story while on the phone to 911, given the short period of time he had. He reversed everything she said to make it her fault. Like he’s always done in the past.
That why he can lie good, he takes truth and changes it just a bit. and he thinks he can pull it off a 5th time.

if his name is not on the lease I think he’s done.

  43. Two sides to a story says:

    Good grief. : / What a dweeb. Here’s Fogen’s call to 911.

    http://www.wftv.com/videos/news/911-call-george-zimmerman-calls-911/vCJZc6/

    • fauxmccoy says:

      yeah, total dweeb action.

his story is completely unbelievable … GF going ‘crazy’ because he was leaving. give me a break!

      • ks says:

LOL! Right. So her pushes her out of her home and blockades himself in instead of just leaving. Hahaha… He’s trying to set up a “he said/she said” but it doesn’t seem to be working as he was arrested and she wasn’t.

      • fauxmccoy says:

        what a flipping idiot.

        911: police, fire or medical?

GZ: uh, yes, this is george, i’d like to report some suspicious police officers knocking on my door.

        • Trained Observer says:

GZ: Yes, and there’s a crazy woman outside who making all sorts of claims. It’s prolly hormonal … her being pregnant and all. I’m such a man.

        • groans says:

He just … ahhhhhhhhhhh … wanted everyone to know THE TRUTH. Doesn’t everybody call 911 when they want to share THE TRUTH?

I mean, c’mon, folks. He couldn’t tell the cops on the scene THE TRUTH, because they were obviously upset – as evidenced by their knocking on gf’s barricaded door and windows – and, as he explained logically to the operator, he didn’t have anything to say.

          Can’t anybody give a sociopath a break?

          Bwaaaa-haaaaa-haaaaaaaaa!!!!

          • fauxmccoy says:

it’s pretty nuts alright. just had the husband listen to it, we were laughing hysterically at the ‘police are on the scene, why ARE you calling?’ part.

    • bettykath says:

I told you. It’s all her fault. She had the weapon, she broke the table, she did, she did, blah blah blah. The officers are on the scene and he wants Everyone to know the TRUTH.

      F*cking entitled bxllshxtter.

    • Lynn says:

She states around 2 minutes into HER 911 call that she thinks GZ came outside. That was probably him placing the gun case behind his truck seat. That is why they need the search warrant.

The affidavit says, “The shotgun used in the incident was unavailable, and believed to have already been locked up by Zimmerman prior to our contact.”

They searched the house with Blondie’s permission. His truck would require a warrant. Too bad they didn’t think to get one in the Shellie/Mr. Dean case. Ohh, we didn’t find a gun. Duh.

HIS 911 call gives him enough time to make up his laughable story. I need the police. Uh? They’re here? No I don’t want to see them. Yes, there was a gun…she might have seen me packing it. She wouldn’t let me go. She was pregnant. She was throwing things and broke the table. Maybe it was something of mine or maybe something of hers that broke it. I don’t know. The cops are mad. They keep banging on the door. Can they talk to my lawyer? ….Door gets opened by cops…barking…NO, NOT MY DOG!!!!….phone line dies.

Seriously, you can’t make this stuff up.

      • jodiwankanobi says:

      “Shit……..she’s running…….”

      “Where is she running to?”

  45. ay2z says:

LOL, check this out for the article header front page!! It’s not the top ‘Canada’ headline, but GZ just made the top headline under ‘World’ news.

“George Zimmerman accused of pointing shotgun at girlfriend”

    http://www.cbc.ca/

  46. William Walton says:

Crane, could the fungi that you are experiencing be something that you contracted while being incarcerated? The fungi spores can lay dormant for a long time. While at Amoco, in 1981, we had a fungus infestation crop up, Could not determine where it came from. Had a junior engeer search it out. She found out that this well had been treated with rancid surface water back in 1923. Just a thought from the man of sciene. Might want to have the jail investigated.

  47. Two sides to a story says:

I think Jr. may be blowing a little hot air. I think the gun search is still ongoing. Fogen obviously had time to secure them somewhere before SCSO arrived.

    • ks says:

A lot of hot air. He’s spinning madly.

      • Two sides to a story says:

Since he used his shotgun to smash the glass table, that can likely be verified if they find the shotgun. And they should be able to find the guns. He didn’t have time to leave the house.

        • Boyd says:

he’s getting off, The police down there has created this guy.
the guns? he probably had someone drive over and get them.

same MO, no one around , bully a weaker person and police can’t help you..

          • towerflower says:

He admitted on his 911 call that he had the guns there and that they were in their case and locked up. He had plenty of time to put the shotgun away and put a lock on it. So it doesn’t matter if he had someone come over—-which I doubt–he admitted to having them there.

    • Trained Observer says:

Right … sheriff’s office sought a warrant to search the residence and that took time. Just because Fogen was sitting in a chair “unarmed” when cops busted through the blocade does not mean “no” guns involved. A conviction could prove expensive for Fogen. Would love to see him deprived of the right to carry.

  48. jodiwankanobi says:

i love how he called the police, obviously knew he was in a shit load of trouble and thought he could slime his way out of it if only he had his chance to talk to them…..

    and this

gz: do you know who i am

apparently he said she was going crazy, so yeah i think he’s going to go with the ‘blocking the door for his own protection’ story, and he was probably too scared to open the door when the police got there because they’ve got it out for him, they even arrested him once, months after he shot a black kid for skipping home in the rain, those pigs.

    • Two sides to a story says:

Typical trick. One of my exes used to assault me and then call police to say I’d assaulted him.

      • ks says:

Yeah. Wasn’t it her house? So he pushes her out and blocks the door in order to protect himself from an unarmed woman instead of leaving himself? Uh huh….

        • Boyd says:

watch they’ll buy his bullshit for the 3rd time. because he killed a black kid. women better stay away from him.

          • Boyd says:

remember the arab guy he worked with.

said zimmermscum was a great poker face liar.

          • towerflower says:

I compare Z to the story about the boy who cried wolf. His M.O. hasn’t changed in all these years……A cop assaulted me, my ex-fiancée assaulted me, Trayvon assaulted me, my wife and her father assaulted me, and now his girlfriend is the aggressor.

Sorry but after awhile the same excuse starts to get old…..either he is the most unlucky man in the world where everyone he meets assaults him first or people need to open their eyes and see that he is a lying p.o.s. I go for the latter.

    • Boyd says:

      unfuckingbelieveable

  49. ay2z says:

More crazy chit today, Rob Ford rushes to confront someone during council special meeting today and runs right into a woman councillor, he grabbed her and stopped her falk,

This was with moments of someone calling out from the public area, ‘how do you know Anthony Smith?’

Anthony Smith was, of course, the 21 year old black man who was killed last March and who was pictured in the photo at the crack house with Mayor Ford and an accused drug dealer, now charged (and whose lawyer is fighting to see the crack smoking mayor video, though it’s not directly related to the photo).

After Mayor Ford settled,, the cries of “how do you know Anthony Smith”, the voice rang out “What is the life of a young black man work, Mayor Ford?

Zimmerman and Ford renegades have a lot in common, Z just has more control of his post rage plan and better relationship with police. Ford is heading to do damage to someone, even by running them over during his duties as Mayor in his own council chamber.

He’s also racist, homophobic and with recent remarks, misogynist.

  50. Two sides to a story says:

Uh-oh. Here’s a tweet from JR – “SCSO just finished their presser. No gun/s found, No injuries, No witnesses, No “pregnancy”. Lots of “claims”. Cue media’s rush 2 judgment.”

I hope that idjut brother of his doesn’t walk.

  51. mgs710 says:

I just sick of it…the righties are reflexively trying to minimize this incident.

  52. thankfully he didn’t kill anyone this time, which is why this news has brought a smile to my face.

apparently the girlfriend is not pregnant.

i’m sure he will claim self defense

this man thinks he’s a hero, even more so now than before he got away with murder, thanks to the low life racist apologists that demonised a child for being black. Hell they have even funded his lifestyle.

the CTH will now rip this woman apart, like they did dee dee, trayvon, shelley (once she turned on him) and find some way to paint saint G as a victim.

At least this time he was arrested, apparently pointing a gun at a white woman is a much worse crime than killing a black kid.

    • Gee, now that it’s going to be so much more convenient for George Zimmerman to call himself White, I wonder if he will change back to White instead of Hispanic?

    • Rachael says:

“At least this time he was arrested, apparently pointing a gun at a white woman is a much worse crime than killing a black kid.”

      Disgusting, but apparently true.

      • Trained Observer says:

Richt, Rachael. Pointing is clearly worse than pulling the trigger and sending a hollow point straight through the heart.

Problem with mere pointing, however, is that the pointee is alive to testify if she chooses or gets subpoenaed. Suddenly Shellie’s story takes on renewed credibility. And what about all the R@TL folks who didn’t get called at trial but who were harassed by Fogen? … Will they have their day?

    • Trained Observer says:

Earlier this afternoon she was allegedly pregnant and now she’s not? Is this the “afternoon after” pill at work?

      • J4TMinATL says:

GZ called police while still inside house. He is the one that said she was pregnant. He lied. She is not. Listen to his 911 call saying she is crazy.

  53. kenteoth says:

I hope he finally gets the just rewards for his choices……JAIL TIME and NO MORE GUNS……EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!

  54. Trained Observer says:

News reports say Seminole County Sheriff’s office requesting an ankle bracelet if he’s granted bail tomorrow.

  55. Who the hell barricades the door with furniture when the cops are at the door? Seriously. This is not GZ’s first kick at the can, but we need to be giving seminars to these people: When the cops come to the door be polite. How can I help you, sir? You wish to search the house? That would be fine, just as soon as you return with that search warrant. Is there anything else I can help you with today?

Who. In the fuck. Barricades the door. With furniture?

    • ay2z says:

Begs the question, WHY barricade the door? Could it be to delay entry by anyone. Or is it even more likely that it’s the same reason as always with him, SHE was the one who attacked him, she created the fear in him, the barricades support his self-defense position, standing his barricaded ground.

      • bettykath says:

yep, he was afraid of her using her key to get back in and… and….

This may turn out as a he said, she said. The physical evidence supports her story but betcha he’s got another explanation of how it was all her doing.

  56. Shari says:

Good. I have not forgotten that he got away with murder. He needs to be punished.

  57. Domestic violence is common in Seminole County. A little research will reveal the largest offenders are Seminole County Deputy Sheriffs against their own wives. George is not afforded the professional courtesy since he is not a LEO. Beating your wife at the SCSO gets you a promotion.

    • breelee says:

But…but…but, he did a ride-along with them, doesn’t that count?

That’s a sad fact about the sheriffs, shame on them.

    • Patricia says:

Jeffery, boy isn’t that the truth, zimmerman could be a honorary member of that ” Wall of shame” in Seminole county.

    • In Tacoma, Washington, just south of Seattle, a police chief’s wife repeatedly called 911 for help over a period of time, and never got any help, because after all, her batterer was the police chief. So, finally he killed her, and then himself, in front of the kids, at a mall one day.

      This could have been prevented.

      • fauxmccoy says:

crane, that was the saddest, most heart rending call i ever took as a DV counselor. in the wee hours of the morning, a very strong, quiet woman just needed to talk. after the stories of abuse she told, i offered to pick her up at either a local hospital, fire department or police station. she just laughed quietly, said her husband was very high up in local police, knew exactly where the shelter was. i knew that they did too. nothing i had to offer her — travel arrangements with sister shelters across the country (we had this set up just for that reason) could give her the reassurance she needed that she could get out successfully. she knew he had the connections to find her and she was probably right. it was profoundly sad.

i spoke with her for 2 hours, way beyond the normal crisis call and could do nothing for her. i told her that was the first time i had been in that position and she comforted me. she did say that just talking to me helped and wanted to know when i was on the phone bank because she would call back, in time, just to talk. i never heard from her again.

        • Wow, I never met anyone who had personal knowledge of this tragic story, but it was so heartbreaking. Both of these people needed help and intervention, and they both ended up dead, under color of badge, and I say there is no excuse for that. I feel sorry for the kids.

          • fauxmccoy says:

my experience was further to the south, chico, CA.

it is not an uncommon theme, sadly. those kids will never be OK. not ever… just think what horrors they must have experienced up to that point?

          • There’s got to be some kind of way to raise awareness on this DV stuff. The case we are discussing is classic. All of this stuff is preventable.

          • fauxmccoy says:

well, i do my best. i understand that people may not have any sympathy for shellie or this new chickie. i generally respond that sympathy is not necessary, but condoning DV is wrong. now, i can skew toward militant activism in this regard, but we all have our causes.

yes, i wish national awareness were greater, it is usually a quiet, personal misery until a dramatic death hits the media. some things have gotten better — in most states it is now considered a crime against the state and prosecuted much more vigorously than it used to be. there is the ‘violence against women act’ and it’s now federal law that a conviction or active restraining order prevents gun ownership in all states. progress …..

          • I did take note when I visited the ER that at least they are asking, “Do you feel safe in your home?” …something to that effect. That’s good, at least.

  58. fauxmccoy says:

what is absolutely pathetic in this whole thing is that the jury just reinfioced zimwad’s fukt up notion to solve every problem with a gun. would be ironic if he and marissa a. switched places.

    • Two sides to a story says:

“would be ironic if he and marissa a. switched places.”

Priceless. Then he can get in touch with his dark side, bwa-ha-ha.

      • fauxmccoy says:

i’m wondering if he’ll be crying the first night in jail again … heh heh heh.

i feel awful celebrating the downfall of of another — but it could not happen to a more deserving cretin and it is not exactly unexpected.

Todays rant …well well George Murderman the murdering punk was arrested AGAIN. Who would have thought that would happen? that a fine upstanding citizen such as himself would have trouble staying out of trouble after saving his neighbors from the dangers of a teenager carrying candy and a drink. Because we all know a teenage boy (especially if he’s black) with Skittles and an Arizona brand drink is a dangerous combination. Now whose gonna protect Florida from the dangers of teenage boys with candy and a drink they may have to call out the national guard. Because his girlfriend is pregnant the charges are automatically upgraded to a felony which means he may not get bail. Here hoping they keep his murdering ass locked up for as long as possible, and also in the general population. Lets see how tough he is when there are no teenage boys for him to mess with. BTW how the hell do dirt bags like him get a girlfriend?

  62. Barbershoptalker says:

The only people this should or would be a surprise to is the jury that set him free…..And then again, maybe they knew the real George Zimmerman but didn’t want to tell the truth about

A 200 plus pound grown man yelling like a baby, because a 160 pound kid is trying to kill him…… ( still cracks me up in disbelief)

The scariest part of this whole thing to me is that now that I have witnessed the last case with this dude, I believe there is a jury of six…(.well five and one confused person), that will believe his girlfriend and her unborn baby jump him and tried to kill him, so he had to defend himself in order to save his own life.

Could the world be so lucky? I won’t hold my breath, though.

      • No doubt, I read a while back, Florida has stiff sentencing guidelines regarding firearm stuff. Like point, or draw and point, stuff like that…almost as stiff as killing someone (or more so) here in Kentucky.

So, wouldn’t it be ironic if he ended up with more time than he would have, had he been convicted the first time, like he should have, of killing, Trayvon Martin?

        • Two sides to a story says:

That would be amazing and oh so appropriate!

        • Xena says:

That’s the charge that got Marissa Alexander 20 years and Michael Giles even more.

          • Yeah, Florida is weird like that. They want everybody armed, but they don’t want anyone to pull the gun out. Crazy. I feel so sorry for Marissa. I am glad she got a new trial and all, but still. Angela Corey belongs in hell.

According to an arrest report released late Monday, Schibe called police after she and Zimmerman got into a “verbal dispute,” at her home on Topfield Court in western Seminole County. She asked Zimmerman to leave, and he “began packing his items, which included a Shotgun and a AR Assault Rifle,” the report said.

When Scheibe told Zimmerman that she was calling the police, he pointed the shotgun at her “and asked her if she really wanted to do that,” according to the report.

  69. bettykath says:

What a surprise! It was all her fault. Whatever happened it was all her fault. She ran into his fist (or whatever). His girlfriend is the same woman who saw him in action with Shellie and her father. A killer and an abuser and she has him living with her.

Some random thoughts, some expressed as sarcasm.

    • breelee says:

      • Malisha says:

    • Rachael says:

      • Boyd says:

he don’t look worried at all. The next reality series. Keeping up with the Zimmermans.

        • Two sides to a story says:

          Smirky as ever.

        • God is there says:

He doesn’t look worried because he has no conscience. And the police described him as being passive. Passive: ‘Not reacting visibly to something that might be expected to produce manifestations of an emotion or feeling.’ Almost the same scenario after he murdered Trayvon, just as calm as if nothing happened. And doing the same thing with this girlfriend, as he did with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Shellie. Lie, Lie, Lie, and then reverse everything they accused him of and say they were the ones who did it and not him. This “poor excuse of a human being” needs to be put under the jail house and forgotten, just as he thought nothing of the life he took from Trayvon. I’m sorry, I hate his sinfulness. GZ is nothing but a monster, and he will eventually have his day; and the way things are looking, it won’t be long.

  73. Just a by the way: if he has $144 on his books, chances are someone went to the jail and put in there. In general, whatever money is in the wallet of someone arrested and jailed goes into the pockets of the jail staff. Just sayin.

      • Thank you, we watched it form and pass by on its way to Illinois. Being phobic, I can safely say that I watched in horror. It was surreal, oddly beautiful and made me realize in a moment that nothing we think up really matters at all. That includes any of our ‘safety’ plans. Unless you have a hole in the ground, may as well watch. Tornadoes are so bizarre- they can wrap rebar around a tree in one place and leave a cup of coffee undisturbed right next to it. One of the Illinois victims was found 100 yards from the home, something terrible like that.

  74. BWA-HAhahahahahaaaaa…Mother. Fucker. The one-man crime spree. I’m sick today, but I couldn’t resist commenting on this one. In jail, no bail. My money (if I had any) says he’s in the drunk tank. Oh, and plus, if she’s pregnant, it’s a felony, lol haha! I hope he gets Lester.

Can’t blog or do much of anything but comment at the moment. Started antibiotics today…we’ll see. Meanwhile our home is toxic. Really strange, like a fungus or something is in everything from the drywall to the lightbulbs. It destroyed our cell phone, I fear for the computer.

        • fauxmccoy says:

Hang on…. drywall???? Paper on regular properly made drywall can have mould from moisture directly or in the air, sure.

BUT, there was drywall imported from China that was made from toxic materials.

I don’t know how this was labelled, or if documented on the boards somehow. Must be a way to tell, or know what was used in the construction of your building.

That might be something to check on.

          • OMG, bless your heart, sounds like you had a resistant bug. A superbug. Back in the day, we used to isolate MRSA patients in the ICU, for example, but nowadays things are such a mess that I don’t think they even isolate MRSA anymore. Rachael may know more.

It had a name i could not pronounce.i wont even try to remember it. needless to say i now walk with a permanent slight limp. Running is not an option.

          • I totally believe that an infection like that can leave you ‘not right’ ever again. Plus, I’ll just bet, thinking out loud, because we don’t have much in the way of health care in this country anymore…I;ll bet that if you get too tired or stressed, the symptoms can return.

I think we are poisoning our environment. I never heard of a ‘mystery illness’ growing up. Now, people are sicker, for longer, with less care…it’s a mess.

          • kllypyn says:

You could be right,i never thought about that.

          • Basing that on a statement of personal experience from my sister, who had a lung infection 30 years ago.

      • Yes. We have a solid plan to joke all day long. His hearing isn’t until 1:30. Fred is preparing a brief explanation of the legal procedure of this initial hearing, which is essentially a hearing to set bail.

Of course it goes without saying but I’ll state the elephant in the room: none of this had to happen. Why is Florida waiting around for a killer to kill again at random, before locking him up? He is dangerous. As Stephen King said, Humor is anger, with its makeup on.
