lovely and tear jerking video, xena. good work!
Thinking of you on this Fathers Day Mr. Martin….
I am a proud Trayvon Warrior…. how I wish I could have been Trayvon’s friend in this life…
My Dad is in heaven looking down on me…. I imagine him standing beside your son…. both proud …. both wishing our tears away…. both visiting in our dreams….
You and Sabryna are now and will forever be heroes to me….
Thank you for the lessons in Dignity, and Grace, and a Parents Unconditional Love….
I posted up there a Fathers Day Video… and just looked at my youtube and didn’t see any one watching it then I noticed I had it unlisted. Please forgive me… lol… it is now public and if you scroll up and you can view… Sheesh… I tell you some days… Looking at my hair… lmao…
Tracy, My prayers are with you on this Father’s day. Wishing you and your family heartfelt peace.
Many blessings.
Lonnie or someone, Will you again point me to the matrix of GZ’s evolving story? Will something like this be provided to the jury? I think it will help them visualize what didn’t happen.
Sometimes parents separate and the child doesn’t get to experience the blessings of two parents. Trayvon had the blessing of both put his needs above theirs. It is amazing to see them sitting there, side by side, together expecting justice for their son. This is the father a mother wants her children to have, the father that many children wish they had.
Happy Father’s Day to all! Happy Father’s Day to Tracy Martin.
Wonderful Sentiments Know you are not alone from this day forward Tracy. From our family to yours, you are always in our thoughts and prayers. Words do not always convey what we feel, but our love, is there and your Faith in the Almighty is an inspiration to us all. As a dad I strive to walk in your footsteps.
Beautiful tribute to a wonderful, faithful, and dedicated father.
Prayers are with you Tracy. Know that Trayvon could not have had a better father here on earth!
Happy Fathers’ Day Mr. Martin, GOD Bless your heavy heart and you have a Lovely Day!
Wonderful videos, Xena and LLMPapa.
We stand with you and lend our strength this Father’s Day and every day, Tracey Martin. Keep the faith.
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and all who live and love a father’s role in their young one’s lives.
Thank you Letterman for keeping us posted. You know, I just saw someone this morning justify the death of Emmett Till on Huffington Post. The racists infiltrated HP this morning. It is so nice to see someone like you trying to keep to the truth.
You and LLMPapa have done yeoman’s work and has helped me maintain some faith in humanity. Thank you!
On this Father’s Day, I think of Tracey Martin and pray for him and his family.
HuffPo seems to have been hijacked by animals lately.
Mr Martin (if you read here) I am sorry for the loss of your Trayvon. I lost my son on 9/11/01. I can tell you my husband and I have never gotten “over it” – the pain is there. It does not got “easier”- you just learn to live differently. I hope and pray on everything Holy that your Son, Trayvon gets the Justice that he deserves.
Keep doing what you do for the child(ren) you have here with you and do not let anyone tear you down. Trayvon loved you, he saved you probably more than once. He is loved by many, so you did do your job right! Consider the source and remember Trayvon is forever with you and apart of you and he will FOREVER LOVE YOU!
Thank you for sharing the truth, from the heart, from a parent who knows.
Tears for your loss disappointed and your pain…..
Thank you Crane and ic2fools~ I cried while typing it because I feel so bad for my husband on Father’s Day so I know Tracy’s pain. However it looks like I was drinking when I typed it with the errors in what words and spelling. Jeez, today has been emotional. Whoever said it gets easier is full of shit. Next time I will try to remember to proof read it thru the tears so it makes a little more sense.
Your very welcome disappointed. Heck when I proof read I still post errors or even post in the wrong place lol .
Like you say it doesn’t get easier you learn to live with it. At times for no reason it starts the grief. I learned to cry and let it out, when I use to bottle it up I’d get physically ill.
Hold on our wounds do mend, may not be permenant but they heal.
Its’ been a long day for all of us and sharing with ya’ll and ya’ll with me has made it easier to see tomorrow.
ic2fools~ (((hugs))))

I have watched you, Tracy Martin, stand before the world with courage, grace, and commitment despite your loss and deep pain. You are an inspiration, and I will never forget you.
What a beautiful video! Thank you, Xena. Tracy Martin was on my mind today.
I will be in the Sanford area tomorrow – still on vacation. Does anyone have information about the Trayvon Martin Memorial? I want to visit. Is anyone here in the Orlando/Sanford area? I would love to meet some of you. Today, I am in Deerfield and would enjoy meeting anyone here.
Am I imagining this, or is Trent there, in the area?
Trent is in TN. Sanfordwatch is in Sanford, but other than their Youtube channel, I do not know how to contact them.
TN, as in Tennessee? Small world. Little bitty. I cannot recall who it was, but back in the beginning, I thought someone in the Sanford area made a video showing distances. Could have been someone who visited, though, and not a resident.
@Crane-Station. I just remembered that David Knechle (sp?) is there, but he’s in court everyday through the week — said that if he is absent, he loses his reserved seating. I give him a cyber-wave when watching. 🙂
Will have to point him out this week.
@Crane-Station. Here’s the link to his blog. It has his photo.http://marinadedave.com/
Dave sits at the end of one of the benches. I’ll see if I can get a screen shot and email it to the professor so we can send some positive energy to Dave. Dave is the blogger who did the “Walk” at Retreat View Circle that LLMPapa and Trent used.
Oh! I did not know who he was, thank you so much.
On Father’s Day I raise my glass to Tracy Martin: a good and decent and honorable man, a loving father and a damn sharp dresser.
L’Chaim!
*clink*
Hear, hear.
(Oyez oyez oyez!)
We love you Tracy and continue to pray that you receive justice for Trayvon! You are a pillar of strength and an inspiration to us all.
Happy Father’s Day, your guy is always with you.
Be blessed.
Happy father’s day, Mr. Martin. Your bravery and convictions are an inspiration to literally millions of people. We know this because that’s at least how many signed petitions, marched in peaceful demonstrations and joined in rallies in support of your search for justice.
If I knew that I could have a fraction of the poise, restraint and dignity you and your extended family and legal team has shown in what can only be described as in the face of cowardice, hatred and duplicity on the part of a murderer, and what’s been morally worse on the side of his defenders, as well as the lack of proper response from authorities, I’d be a proud individual.
Thank you for fighting for justice with love and the conviction that comes from speaking the truth. Thank you for being an example to fathers everywhere.
The struggle continues. Thanks for keeping the faith.
Willisnewton- well said, sir. Well said.

Happy Father Day Tracy Martin,it may seem that you have been leaning on us for support for your son but truly we have been leaning on you. You have been a strong man threw this all,we are here with you to the end. JUSTICE FOR TRAYVON!!
@Professor. A humbling thank you, to you and all.
Tracy Martin’s courage, love, and endurance through suffering, sets a standard for fathers. Indeed, for all men. No — all people regardless of gender.
Thank you for creating this special video for Tracy and for Fred Leatherman for passing along this message at the top of today’s thread.
Tracy is not alone.
A wonderful video Xena!
Happy Father’s Day Tracy! Know that we are all thinking of you and your family, not only today but every day as we journey to justice for your son.
For brother Tracy, its going to be ok. Happy Father’s Day. God Bless

Tracy, God bless.
(personal note, and this is just me, and I know it is said with the best intentions, but this is not a happy day for Tracy nor any father who has lost a child. I losta parent at Trayvon’s age, and these significant ‘dates’ that people celebrate are something to get through. There must be a better mantra, than to tell someone have a happy or wonderful day. Usually it is done because people do not know the person, clerk in a store for example, but we do know and this just seems shallow and I know so well that here, it is not meant to be).
Ay2z- I know what you mean. Today I will congratulate my brother on being the awesome father he is. Meanwhile neither of us have our father anymore.
FROM THE CLUTTERED DESK OF Cielo62
cielo, I never thought about that and it does add another perspective. I should have left my personal feelings about these dates in general, aside. Tracy does have another son and will mark this Father’s day with him, and together, they will share the good memories today.
Ay2z- never regret sharing an important insight. Our father died at a ripe old age. He died in his bed surrounded by own bedroom and accompanied by his dog. His family was in the house but I think he chose to leave quietly without paining us. My brother is an awesome father and deserves the recognition. No matter what, dads are key foundations when they are involved. If you live long enough, many holidays become bittersweet. All I can do is send you a ((((hug))))) in recognition of this bittersweet day. Peace.

Thank you so much for saying so eloquently something I was also trying to get across. Well said.
I was 14 when my dad passed away…. I hate Fathers day… I Hate June…. I spend the first few weeks preparing for today and the last two weeks preparing for the anniversary of his death…on the 27th. I am told it gets easier…. not so far.
It is difficult to say Happy Fathers Day….. but I do acknowledge all the wonderful and amazing dads out there…. they deserve to be praised and for those that have passed….to be remembered.
Thank you ay2z for expressing something I have definitely been feeling these last 7 years on this day….
>^..^< Happy Fathers Day!
Happy Fathers Day Tracy and, may GOD BLESS and continue to sustain you and give you strength to carry on, as we all seek Justice, for Trayvon.
Peace and tranquility to you on Father’s Day, Tracy. Justice will come for Trayvon.
What a beautiful Tribute Card for Tracy Martin on Father’s Day. *Tears* Xena, this is so special. Love it! *dropping a tear*
What a beautiful card, Xena.
“I would give anything to have him here.”
*tears*
I am sobbing
Eric Clapton’s “Tears in heaven” is the song running in my head
Yes, beautiful, and didn’t he write that for his son?
Beautiful, Xena!
You opened the floodgates…
*weeping*
It’s amazing that these parents are still standing above the ground. How I admire them both. If I lost my son, that would be the end of me; my heart would break forever, and I am not sure I would survive it. Parents losing children is wrong on a very instinctual and intuitive level. I know Tracy Martin meant every word when he mentioned that he would have taken the bullet for his son, because I would say/wish the same thing, if it were me in his shoes.
And then to go through all of this…Where do you even start? Xena’s card is moving and powerful.
Crane-Station, What a beautiful, honest, and poignant comment. Thank you.
I concur. Tears are still falling. I just can’t help it..
Also want to say that sometimes people don’t know what to say about something like this. I don’t know if it is in our culture, but it is very hard for people to say, “Tell me something about your son. What was he like?” I appreciate the photos and snipets (sp?) that people share.
I still have difficulty watching the parents
but on this father’s day, I would like Mr. Martin to know that he does not walk alone.
Thanks for posting LLMPapa’s video, Tzar.
and always will.
Wow.
Thank you Tzar, and LLMPapa.
Your courage shows us good reason to have Father’s Day, Tracy Martin.
Happy Father’s Day, Tracy Martin. You’ve been showing the whole world what it means to really care about your, and others’, children.
Best wishes and many blessings to you, Tracy.

Beautiful video
Happy Fathers Day Tracy
Tracy,
I offer you my prayers and support as you face this Father’s Day without your dear son.
May you find comfort in knowing that we reach out to you with hugs of compassion and stand with you as you seek justice for Trayvon.
What a beautiful tribute.
Mr. Tracy Martin, blessings and peace to you on this Father’s May God continue to strengthen you and be with you. Perhaps He chose you for a time such as this.
“No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their ancestors to give them.
“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you may be successful wherever you go.
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:1-9
Tracy,
Mahalia Jackson combines “Joshua” with my quotation from the song “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.
May you feel His strength and comfort, and may you see justice done.

Thinking of you, Tracy, on this Father’s Day. May your strength of purpose overcome your sorrow today, and may you remember how many Americans stand with you and beside you–how many of us feel your sorrow and courage.
