Trent, here’s the rhyme you asked about on your video from this morning. (thanks for the video postings!)

    Georgy Porgy puddin’ and pie,
kissed the girls and made them cry
When the boys came out to play,
    Georgy Porgy ran away

  3. boyd says:

Very impressed with Judge Nelson for listening , being attentive for so long. Her ruling was short , simple and quite understandable.

I began watching when George said he would waive a pre-trial SYG, but basically most of today’s hearing was about financial payments and not George. That’s not good for George.
As a laymen I’m thinking ‘these guys are arguing over how much money they should get, the hell with George”

  4. FactsFirst says:

I enjoyed every last drop of Bernie’s EPIC SMACK DOWN.. I literally got goose bumps watching West flail like a fish on dry land.. And is it me or is BLDR getting sexier by the minute DROP TOP and all..

  5. PYorck says:

I don’t know how exactly the defense expected West’s testimony to work out, but I am pretty sure it wasn’t this.

    • Malisha says:

They expected it to go like this:

OMARA: Mr. West will you tell the court what is wrong with this whole prosecution and with the State’s case and the fact that the State is prosecuting the defendant please?

      BDLR: Objection!

JN: OVERRULED! Give the poor defendant’s poor lawyer a chance to seek justice, counsel, or you will find yourself disbarred and prosecuted.

      OMARA: Please continue Mr. West.

WEST: Yes, thank you. Well Your Honor, everybody lied and the State refused to comply with the law so my client was railroaded and my colleague and I were prejudiced and they were all really really bad just like my client’s mother said, and they even fooled the president, and the charges should be dropped, and this court should order damages from Mr. Crump and Ms. Jackson and the Fulton-Martins on behalf of the defendant who has been made to suffer and hide and undergo so much that no decent American should ever have to endure.

JN: Thank you. Case dismissed. Mr. Fogen — uh — Mr. Zimmerman you are free to go. Deposit your bracelet by the door and resume protecting our neighborhoods asap.

      Court adjourned.

Oh well, the best laid plans of mice and men (and punks and fools and racists and liars and saints and sinners and Afro-Peruvians) often to all to Hell in a Handbag…

    • Xena says:

But-but-but— Sundance of the treeslum wanted West to take over representing GZ.

      • PYorck says:

The funny thing is that they decided that back when West never said a word. Although to be fair that made him look better than O’Mara.

      • colin black says:

I Know Xena he got the message in a left luggage locker at a greyhound bus shelter.

Keys to the locker apeared in his wind skreen wipers.

So West scooted over to the locker an opened it up to discover a smalll recording device.

Similar to the one Crump used when he questioned her over the phone.

        He pressed play ..

The mucic theme from mission immpossable is heard in background a voice speaks.

Pyorck, that’s what happens to presumptuous and pompous individuals. You know, I think O’Mara and West planned on ambushing BDLR (who did not know in advance that West will be taking the stand). But BDLR (and this BDLR-guy has a photographic memory) turned the tables on them!

  6. SearchingMind says:

    Am I dreaming?

BDLR’s performance today was just a breathtaking onslaught. If a lawyer like West could not absorb the kind of pressure coming from BDLR, imagine what will happen to a mediocre like GZ. I find it amazing that the defense turned a hearing for reimbursement into a public inquest into- and against the defense. I am sure Beavis and Butthead would have performed better than West and O’Mara today. And West provided a big window into the inner workings of the defense and talked about stuff discussed between himself and O’Mara – stuff that normally remain secret (and definitely privileged!). I guess Judge Nelson enjoyed every aspect of that public duel and allowed the it to go on (may God bless her) . Overall this is a very bad day for the defense – especially from the PR point of view. BDLR nailed West over and over again. I hope DeeDee and W#9 watched this and took solace in the fact that this Tiger called BDLR was able to take vengeance for them – especially against Mr. West. I will be having a nice dinner today. No kidding. This stuff today is just unbelievable. I must be dreaming!

    • Two sides to a story says:

Just in the dream called reality. Enjoy!

    • Malisha says:

What’s for dinner? The asskicking today has made me hungry!

      • Trained Observer says:

Peas porridge hot … peas porridge cold … peas porridge in the pot nine days old. OK, in reality, this could be pizza night.

      • colin black says:

        Whats for Dinner ….

        For foggagge

Mustard custurd snot an bogey pie all mixed up an add a dead dogs eye.
Stir it stir it untill Its nice an thick an then throw in a cup of three day old fermmented sick…

        Serve room temp.

And for dessert a big slice of hummble pie.

But as he doesnt know whay hummble means.

Make that a stummbleing bummbleing crumbling pie in honour of his defence of self sefence.

    • texad says:

      @ SearchingMind

Ditto on all you said. The best part was that West and MOM are so incredibly stupid (it’s the only word that comes to mind) that they willingly and voluntarily revealed atty work product. I guess this is why they thought Benjamin Crump, Esq., would release HIS work product. It’s clear who has more integrity. And sense.

    • looolooo says:

      Who is w9 again?

    • LeaNder says:

I wondering, really. If they had to make this stage show to convince Fogen, that what it would be like and that he better did not take the stand. Maybe he forgets his very limited encounter with O’Mara during the fist bond hearing. I think one already see than what Bernie is capable of, although he had to stay inside clearly defined limits.

  7. Two sides to a story says:

Oooooohh, I loved Natalie Jackson at the end of the Crump / Parks presser – today everyone who protested to arrest Z and bring him to trial was vindicated.

    Boom. Amen. Period.

  8. Two sides to a story says:

Trent also has the post-hearing pressers up .http://www.youtube.com/user/stateoftheinternet

  9. Bill Taylor says:

TY folks for for the play by play of the hearing…..OFF TOPIC but i did enter the PBA50 national tourney and have to go bowl 8 more games today if i can, the 8 games yesterday really taxed my body and my performance was pathetic, but in my first try at the pro tour i am NOT in last place…..only one of 8 games was over 200 yesterday but is was a decent 242 at least.

  10. ic2fools says:

I couldn’t resist reading tree slummer reactions.

AHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!! They’re flippin like fish outta water over there. Comments: “he waived the immunity hearing, i’m stunned, i’m shocked, i don’t believe it’ . The one comment got me rolling ‘why would he do that’ — REALLY NOW! Many of he coulda shoulda wouldas’.

They refuse to see that defense team and Fogens’ admission that his actions were never, are not and never will be fit for immunity hearing.

Ahahahaha, at least 3/4 of those fools realized today that they have been conned. Big dummies O’mara has been telling them all along then deflected by grandstanding.

    • Two sides to a story says:

Hard to believe that they couldn’t see this all along, enit?

      • Malisha says:

Because they were going for all the “answers” West and O’Mara were providing, just like BDLR did NOT do. BDLR was saying, “Answer the question.” The Outhousers were buying all O’Mara’s nonsensical crap without bothering to evaluate whether it was logically POSSIBLE or not. Well they were in the habit: they believed Fogen’s nonsensical crap without bothering to evaluate whether it was logically POSSIBLE or not before that. I wonder how Jeralyn feels about it now. Oh nevermind…

      • LeaNder says:

I wonder how Jeralyn feels about it now. Oh nevermind

Occasionally I check. Her last blog article so far:One Year Anniversary of George Zimmerman’s Arrest I don’t have much time to check her forum though, she is quite active there too. But on her blog this commemoration was the last thing she did on Fogen.

Strictly she already called judge Nelson prejudiced pro defense, and she would have much fodder to continue the theme now.

      • ic2fools says:

Yepper Two Sides, I still don’t understand their reasoning and never will. I’m keeping and eye out for O’Whineys’ donation report for April. We’ll see his tears in his next post about the drastic drastic drop in donations and use that as another excuse as to why he doesn’t have a defense.

    • Xena says:

Ahahahaha, at least 3/4 of those fools realized today that they have been conned.

IMO, O’Mara is still conning them. Florida law does not provide for a jury to decide on immunity. Jury instructions don’t provide for that either.

  11. Xena says:

O’Mara just said he wants the jury sequestered.

  14. What was that regarding a witness who thought he saw a gun which turned out to be a pager?

  15. KA says:

I think if today’s hearing showed us anything, it is that the trial is going to be an unconventional trick-laden circus not yet seen in a courtroom to date….

First question from BDLR to Fogen:

“Do you stand by the statements you made to the police on 2/26/2012?”

    • Two sides to a story says:

‘Bout time he said something correct!

    • SoulSistaWoo says:

I can’t believe that Defense lapdog said that. SHOCKED! so he does have the ability to speak the truth.

    • looolooo says:

Where can I view that tasty morsel? I remember way back when, when he used to be solely team Fogenmeister. Well at least he appears to have a soul. I wonder if he and MOM will remain friends after this fares

You’ve been out doing yourself with all your spot on assessments lately. I continue to be impressed. 🙂

      Hoodies Up

      • fauxmccoy says:

i once heard someone refer to him as ‘Cadaver Ne Jame’ and can never think of him as anything else 🙂

      • Xena says:

Where can I view that tasty morsel?

He was on HLN. I’ll check later to see if it’s on their website. Also, Sharpton had a lawyer on his program tonight who said good stuff about waiving immunity and a Florida Supreme Court ruling that such relief is only provided pre-trial.

  18. SoulSistaWoo says:

Excuse me everyone… But Mark O’Mare is a fucking liar and a piece of shit!

“Trayvon Martin was the aggressor in the unfortunate intersection of him and Fatass!”

I am truly beginning to question if I have the fortitude to watch this trial.

    • Nef05 says:

It will be difficult, but we can persevere knowing that BDLR will have direct examination and cross examinination and get the job done, just as he did today.

      Hoodies Up!

      • SoulSistaWoo says:

Hoodies Up Always… Bernie was fabulous today; I have confidence in him.
But the defense makes me want to scream, spit, or fight! LOL…

  19. Ty Flair says:

Time for West to retired he got his @ss handed to him today. Justice is on it’s way. JUSTICE FOR TRAYVON!!!!!!!!!!

  20. ladystclaire says:

I wonder if the person who Natalie Jackson just shot down for asking a stupid question concerning the family’s settlement as opposed to having their live child is what’s more important to them, is Rene Stutzman. that woman is a B***H!

  21. Xena says:

Mark O’Mara just said that he wants the jury to decide on immunity. Now, he’s making up his own procedures.

  22. Xena says:

Parks and Crump are on HLN now.

  23. willisnewton says:

i think the implication regarding GPS records being of a quality proving “they went thataway” was just revealed to be a fiction.

In other words, my take-away is that the GPS records for TM are such that it’s only going to show he was in the general vicinity of a few cell towers, maybe not even three.

It would take three to triangulate a semi-precise position.

MOM tried to make a point about a report (complete with a map of where the CELL TOWERS WERE – not where TM was) that he feels he received after a delay. He tried to sneak in the implication that this somehow “proves” TM’s route from 7Eleven to the RATL was not as direct as one would think. What, if anything exculpatory could be made from that is beyond me.

As near as I can tell, he was criminally profiled when he was already “near the clubhouse now,” since whatever happened before that isn’t prove-able or seemingly important.

    • KA says:

He did not hear him there was a coordinate obtained, just that he noticed that the call was served from a further away tower than the closest one indicating, on the sly, that Trayvon was not where the State says he was….

weak, pathetic argument as cell traffic has variables to where it is served from (overflow, simultaneous signaling, upgrades, etc)

    • Xena says:

@willisnewton. Do you really think that West understands GPS and/or ping logs? He gets his education from the treeslum. But, who will he call as an expert witness at trial? Sundance?

      • willisnewton says:

Whatever it was that the defense was alluding to, it seemed weak. Obviously we don’t yet know what GPS info is out there and what it will tell us, if anything, about “they went thataway,” but if that’s the best he’s got then it’s awfully weak and awfully inconclusive and awfully vague.

        • Xena says:

…but if that’s the best he’s got then it’s awfully weak and awfully inconclusive and awfully vague.

Yep. Neither is it evidence to support that GZ is immune from prosecution.

  24. Rachael says:

What was that last part about, about Trayvon’s ping records show he did not walk directly back and something about something (criminal?) activity?

    • Jun says:

It turned out to be another baseless accusation

Bernie asked him under oath if there was any actual proof of criminal records and that there was actually no crime committed and then West tried to divert from the question

    • Nef05 says:

That was irritating as all get out. It appeared to me as if West was trying to conflate the cell tower records with the specious allegation they’ve been putting forth about the jewelry/screw driver.

As if, by virtue of these separate incidents, months apart, in different cities, indicates that if Trayvon didn’t go straight from the store to his home, he must necessarily have been involved in some criminal activity. It was disgraceful. That’s how I heard it, and you can bet that’s how their donors and supporters heard it. Watch for that allegation to be one of the prominent talking points to deflect away from the fact that fogen waived the pre-trial immunity hearing.

      • ladystclaire says:

I think it’s very shameful as hell, how this defense team is taking part in smearing this child in order to take the focus off of the criminal who has been charged with M2. I have never witnessed anything like it in my life.

This is so wrong to know that these attorneys will stand up before GOD the court and the rest of the world, and smear this deceased child in order to help their client keep his freedom. smdh

      • SoulSistaWoo says:

Nef05…That is exactly what I heard as well…but I kept thinking… “NO way, they cannot possible be referring to that jewelry and screwdriver nonsense.”

They are extremely disrespectful and disgusting.
I heard exactly what you heard,

    • Malisha says:

Oh I’m sure Trayvon’s ping records (but wait a minute — if that was not Trayvon’s phone then maybe those ping records belonged to some other suspicious guy?) indicate that he was somewhere Fogen did not agree he should be at some time that Fogen did not want him to be there, which is major evidence of criminal activity on the part of “the suspect” who saw “the gun” and who asked, with criminal intent, “You got a fuckin’ problem homie?” dahn da dahn dahnnnnnn… PING “!”

      • boyd says:

That waste of time will not hold up in court. Commerical GPS are never as accurate as the Military as requested by the military.

  25. SearchingMind says:

Professor, I think West’s performance today was a disaster. And the irony of it all? Well, West worked tirelessly to make Mr. Crump a witness and force him to the stand. But it was Mr. West who ended up as a witness and in the witness box. Amazing stuff today.

  26. Jun says:

Damn West looked like he was shaking on the stand LOL

And he kept not answering questions and beating around the bush

    • Xena says:

Now we know why depositions taken by the defense take so long. West talks one word every 2 minutes.

      • LeaNder says:

Xena, I think had one of us witnessed the deposition of Sybrina Fulton, for instance, our stomachs would have turned over. The little Bernie revealed left me speechless, in fact deeply and seriously revolted by the mindset doing this.

But I got your joke, only concerning the long depositions this sticks out on my mind. I doubt DeeDee’s was much shorter.

        • Xena says:

Xena, I think had one of us witnessed the deposition of Sybrina Fulton, for instance, our stomachs would have turned over.

Based on what BDLR said about that deposition, it’s my impression that BDLR deemed it harassment. I mean, a person who has worked on the same job more than 20 years is asked what she did and earned previously?

  27. fauxmccoy says:

for george … live from san quentin ‘i got stripes’ by jr cash

  28. jm says:

    Is hearing over?

  29. Next motions hearing will be May 28th. The motions deadline is May 10th.

The lawyers will meet informally off the record with Judge Nelson in the conference room in chambers at 1:30 pm to discuss jury selection matters.

Court is in recess at 12:09 pm EDT.

You could call this a judicial smackdown and she did it politely leaving no basis for a motion to recuse.

  30. gbrbsb says:

Does this mean there is no cleaned up tape for either the screams or W8 interview (very strange ABC only kept the 5min section they posted), and no other GPS data for the phones other than what, if any, has already been disclosed. If the case, I never held my breath, at least on the GPS data being available and usable from my personal experience tracking vulnerable adults, but it will be a disappointment for those who did.

    • BDLR said that he has provided a copy of the recorded 911 call to an expert to attempt to clean-up/enhance it.

      • gbrbsb says:

I missed that. So we will still have to wait a bit. IMO, and my prediction would be, that even if prosecution can’t clean it enough so that every word, phrase, scream is perfectly audible and or distinguishable, the fact there are two voices, one with GZ’s ineffectual calls of “Help me” (the only sound he has ever claimed to have made) and the other voice is screaming at full lung, that should be sufficient to show that at least one of them must be Trayvon as unless a ventriloquist you can’t do both at the same time. So either the “help mes” are GZ’s or the screams… both are physically impossible.

    • Nef05 says:

No, for the screams – there was no enhanced tape that the state (as pertains to Corey, BDLR, et al) provided, that Mr. Martin heard, before Corey was even assigned to the case. That’s not to say there is no enhanced tape.

The DeeDee interview apparently (from West’s testimony) had a version that was slightly better than the original provided, but I’m still not really clear on where they got that from since ABC only had the 5 mins.

Yes, there is no GPS data other than what has already been provided.

      • LeaNder says:

there was no enhanced tape that the state (as pertains to Corey, BDLR, et al) provided, that Mr. Martin heard, before Corey was even assigned to the case.

I think Bernie made a really good point. Could it be that the city hall, if I recall correctly, where Tracy heard it the second time had a much better system, better loudspeakers? That’s not exactly how he said but pretty close. Very, very good point.

Now imagine. Tracy had said at that point: That was a much better copy. Had any of them immediately thought about the better system, the better volume? So they are trying to make hearsay a central issue?

The DeeDee interview apparently (from West’s testimony) had a version that was slightly better than the original provided

That was the original copy on Crump#s phone that he had to hand over to FDLE on Nelson’s order. The prosecution obviously gave them what they had. And strictly, I am a bit suspicious about all this hard-to-understand-caprioles around DeeDee’s interviews. I’ve made the same argument over and over again, e.g. at Talkleft. If I as a foreigner seem to have less problems to understand DeeDee but Americans like O’Mara and West, then I do have a problem with the argument.

You know what my impression is, the audio would only be satisfactorily clear if “if they could hear “something on it they want to hear”, and as long as they cannot hear that, it is hard to understand..

but I’m still not really clear on where they got that from since ABC only had the 5 mins

They filed a motion demanding ABC handed them everything they had. ABC told them, they would release everything they had. Which they did.

Could it be, either Matt Gutman or his colleague realized that Crump was having problems with his recording or his cell phone and thus recorded the passage in which he shifted phones? They can ask them? No? Now maybe that copy wasn’t so brilliant either but it was slightly improved by the specialists in ABC?`Now lean back and imagine, the two–West & O’Mara– had spent some of the money on an audio engineer to enhance the tape instead of on lavish living and security expenses, state of the art case management programs? At what time would they have had a “better copy”? Probably several month earlier.

The problem is they do not really want to spend too much money on something they already have, they prefer to dig for something they suspect is hidden from them. That’s the clear outcome of the basic ideology Fogen should never have been forced to stand trial to start with.

    • Malisha says:

Well announcing that they’re going to have a “major evidentiary hearing before trial” is ridiculous. They can’t just decide to hold a “major evidentiary hearing.” This whole charade was designed to make the Fogenites think that there is some terrible thing being done to the defense to railroad an innocent Afro-Peruvian. They will never be able to accept the fact that he was just convicted for a crime. That’s for — underdogs. Not for his exalted kind of people. Especially not for his “self-exalted” kind of people.

      • lurker says:

I did catch that West snuck in a reference to information regarding Trayvon’s “criminal record.” BDLR was able to get a question in asking about the school board, in deposition, explaining that whatever Trayvon had did not meet their definition of a “weapon.”

The judge reined them in before they got any further afield on that one.

But, taking that into consideration, as well as seven to eight hours of deposition with various family members, it does look like the defense is still intending to discredit the victim in any way possible.

Is the purpose of an evidenciary hearing to determine what can and cannot be considered admissable?

      • LeaNder says:

lurker, always keep in mind that the Prof taught us, that every smear tactics they will try against the family or Trayvon opens the valve of character evidence from prosecution concerning Fogen.

But I am very, very thankful to Bernie, I will call him that from now on, not BDLR anymore, that he let us know that they in fact deposed Sybrina Fulton 7 hours, if I remember correctly. Now imagine this. What relevant evidence concerning the crime could Sybrina possibly have.

I am realizing more and more that the Professor was right from the very start and I was being too pessimist.

I would love to see the questions the defense will demand the jury members are asked. I really would.

  31. Xena says:

They’re going to have lunch and come back. Wonder who’s paying for GZ’s meal and if they can afford it? LOL!

  32. SoulSistaWoo says:

    Help! What’s happening?

  33. willisnewton says:

MOM sits down. He’s done. As in stuffed and cooked and stick a fork in him.

  34. lurker says:

And O’Mara announces he intends a major evidentiary hearing before trial.

  35. Unabogie says:

And in other news, water is still wet.

  36. Judge Nelson reserves for post-trial consideration the issue of compensation for time spent tracking down information and the 5-hour delay before proceeding with the video deposition.

  37. willisnewton says:

She’s shutting this all down. MOM is trying to stick his foot in the door, but she’s not having it.

  38. Two sides to a story says:

geez, I wish Fogen would stop the spooky sideways eyeball stuff.

    • FactsFirst says:

sumthin’s wrong with him.. I don’t know what his deal is…

    • ic2fools says:

I know eerrie eyeballin. Fogen got that skaard look that says ‘Oh if only I could run’.

    • lurker says:

Looks like a combination of someone told him to sit quietly eyes forward and the dawning realization that he hasn’t got much of a defense.

Afterward O’Mara was telling the press that George really wants to face a jury of his peers. Haha. Next will come the surprise that a jury of his peers doesn’t exactly mean Taaffe, Osterman and so on.

But, O’Mara is still trying to peddle the story that if not for the publicity (and all those protesting meddlers), that George would never have been charged, or if he was, it would be dismissed. Is that really how things still roll down there in Florida Mr.O’Mara? I wouldn’t exactly be proud.

  39. groans says:

    Post trial decisions!
    Good idea.
    Is it legal?

  40. lurker says:

No finding of procedural prejudice–any monetary sanctions to be ruled on post-trial.

And now–same for the monetary sanctions on the video expense.

  41. Two sides to a story says:

    Boom denied. $ sanctions post-trial.

  42. willisnewton says:

I think she just said that if any money is due the defense, she’ll worry about that after the trial is over.

  43. Judge Nelson finds no discovery violations and no prejudice.

    • boyd says:

I did get to watch it. She is very sharp. I’m impressed, Judges deserve to get paid well I can see it’s not a 9-5 job. I’m guessing she must do a lot of studying.

  44. fauxmccoy says:

oh and ‘i forgot’ is not OK according to o’mara who ‘i forgot’ had his client’s extraneous passport – lord help us all.

  45. Nef05 says:

But, didn’t O’Mara hide behind HIS memory loss, in front of Judge Lester, in the matter of the second passport?

  46. willisnewton says:

MOM: “when do we get to what’s fair? When do we try this case on the merits, not on what’s hidden in the shadows?”

Indeed. Perhaps when GZ takes the stand under oath and starts confessing the real truth we might get to trying the case on the merits.

  47. fauxmccoy says:

oh dear, o’mara wants to disagree with JN regarding nature of a richardson hearing and the meaning of ‘procedural prejudice’. not good, o’mara, not good.

  48. Xena says:

“Procedural prejudice” and O’Mara is being disrespectful to the judge. He wants a reason to recuse or appeal. “Your Honor, we aren’t ready for trial.”

  49. Is O’Mara correcting the Judge?

  50. KA says:

So MOM wants to be defense attorney AND the judge…

  51. willisnewton says:

She’s about to throw out every one of these petty motions.

  52. lurker says:

Now he’s arguing that the Judge is wrong about procedural prejudice.

  53. bettykath says:

BDLR will be able to turn the defendant into a quivering pile of blob by using the defendant’s many stories. No way fogen will be able to keep them all straight. Defendant might even blurt out the truth!

  54. You all have thoughtful comments says:

    sad violins playing

  55. As Ametia says….There’s not enough ointment for West’s blistered body.

  56. groans says:

Random “violations,” AND random witness list!

  57. jd says:

cell phone tower traffic allegations are seemingly a spurious issue. Once again the defense found something random and is saying the sky is falling.

  58. She’s not buying the discovery violations crap, because things are resolved.

  59. I am dying to hear Proffessor’s comments on the defense putting West on the stand like a sitting target for Bernie’s wrath!!!!
In baited breath! That’s ALL I WANT FOR XMAS!!

  60. Nef05 says:

West is explaining WHY they’re on the witness list, not WHY it took them longer than the time limit to submit them in reciprocal discovery. He’s not answering the question.

  61. groans says:

West: “We have no idea what witnesses we want to call. We’ve never thought about that, really.” [Paraphrase]

  62. Two sides to a story says:

LOL – West – we’re throwing the whole pot of spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks.

  63. SoulSistaWoo says:

BDLR is freakin pit bull with an elephants memory… he is exposing the defense BS!

  64. SearchingMind says:

Mr. West just threw O’Mara under the bus!

  65. KA says:

I think this is a defense training episode to show GZ how to avoid on stand.

  66. Rachael says:

Yes, it IS apples to oranges. DUH. That is EXACTLY the point. I wanna marry Bernie!!!

  67. SoulSistaWoo says:

    And there it is!

BDLR Finally got around to asking if Wit8 going to the hospital will prove the defendants innocence!

  68. groans says:

West has an odd concept of “exculpatory!”

    • lurker says:

As well as an interesting concept of “redact.”

    • Malisha says:

      To West, “exculpatory” means:

Anything WE can focus on to take the focus off the actual crime and the actual charge and the actual events of 2/26/2012 because we already know that our ONLY DEFENSE is distraction, now that racism itself is not a good enough defense.

  69. Is BDLR actually cross examining West? Are you serious? Did he make mention of the on-air doxing?

  70. You all have thoughtful comments says:

I think that West is becoming a broken man.

  71. lurker says:

West just admitted that the State has been helpful to them in overcoming their financial woes in setting up interviews, etc.

  72. trina cosbie says:

West is gonna have to the eat cat food that helps cats cough up hairballs, cause Heathciff is hanging 10 on West’s tongue!!

  73. groans says:

BDLR is really revealing West credibility problems!

  74. Two sides to a story says:

Ooooh, West is getting nailed again.

  75. Nef05 says:

So, the claim that ABC had the whole 25 mins (that fogen’s supporters have been pushing), on tape, was false. And the 5 minutes they have gotten from ABC was never submitted as reciprocal discovery, but the defense wants sanctions for the prosecution’s discovery.

    Pot meet kettle.

    • Xena says:

West must have a love affair with someone at the treeslum. They are doing his work, which is why he is having such a hard time answering Bernie’s question.

  76. ladystclaire says:

I wish JVM would stop it with the W-8 being a very crucial witness because she’s not. this woman makes me sick and, she needs to stfu. the state has enough evidence against the murderer and, a another piece of that evidence is the fact that, another of the witnesses heard Fogen ask Trayvon, what are you doing around here. Mark O’Idiot has turned this entire case into a JOKE and, it’s not because an innocent kid lost his life because of the VILLAGE IDIOT, that he and some others in this country want to see get away with his murder.

BTW, I can hear Trent now as Bernie is questioning West.

    • Nef05 says:

LOL@Trent questioning West. I’m really looking forward to his comments when he posts this hearing. They’re going to be *crucial*. 😀

    • Lynn says:

Any takers on how many times Trent says the word “Skeletor”?

    • Malisha says:

JVM has nothing to fuss about if she lets go of the DeeDee thing. She was way out on a weak limb hovering over a boo boo on Fogen’s head when she began to hear the bough breaking…

  77. groans says:

Sob, sob, sob! “We got no help from anybody!” Poor, poor, pitiful us! 😦

  78. groans says:

Maybe BDLR needs to call O’Mara as a witness!!

  79. Bernie is kicking West ass forty ways to Sunday and this is just the beginning.

  80. Xena says:

This has turned from a pre-trial hearing in a murder case, to the battle of West against Crump. Bernie knows it too.

    • texad says:

      @ Xena

This is such a disgusting spectacle that I want to turn away from it. But I won’t. I have to watch for Trayvon. I have to believe that anyone who has any sense of right and wrong is finally witnessing that MOM, West, and ultimately GZ have no integrity whatsoever. GZ killed a teen for no reason, and MOM and West are prepared to destroy as many innocent people as possible to get a murderer off. Bernie is the only one showing righteous indignation. Judge Nelson is doing her best to be impartial-but it is obvious she is pissed too.

  81. State objection sustained.

  82. Rachael says:

West sure seems to be having trouble LOL

  83. I wanna see a gavel bang. Just one time, please?

  84. KA says:

I have never seen anything like this…amazing..

  85. SearchingMind says:

Bernie is a Tiger! Go Bernie.

  86. West oughta take the Fifth and get a lawyer, LOL.

  87. Lynn says:

If this is a sign of what to expect during trial, they’re screwed.

West: I don’t understand the question?

West: Too many questions at once.

    JN: Wait for the question!

  88. Rachael says:

Legal strategy from the internet. Speaks for itself. Hahahahaha

  89. Malisha says:

So, isn’t it true Mr. West that you made a big fuss because the state didn’t give you something the state never had?

    West: I’m gonna obfuscate.

    Court reporter: reads back question.

West: I’m gonna blah blah now.

    BDLR: Yes or no.

West: I’ll make a little sentence just to show you that you can’t TELL ME WHAT TO DO.

OMG Birds of a feather represent each other.

  90. Conservative Treehouse, front and center, ROFLOL.

  91. lurker says:

Ooooh–getting into the Treehouse and doxing.

  92. Rachael says:

  93. Two sides to a story says:

Oooooh, West is really peddling hard.

  94. West is pretending to be dumb…oh wait…nevermind.

  95. Rachael says:

    God Mr. West –

LOL – Bernie – “who does that?” LMAO

  96. ladystclaire says:

Now they are talking about the CTH aka the CDH and, West is trying to get amnesia about his knowledge of the defense’s dealings with them.

  97. Rachael says:

    Oooooh, the outhouse again.

  98. SoulSistaWoo says:

BDLR drops the shithouse name again.
I wish they would not give them the light they so desparatly seek… but it is a necessary evil in regards to Wit8 Doxing.

  99. Nef05 says:

  100. Bernie, please get him!

  101. Xena says:

Get ’em Bernie. Go, go, go. Get that liar West. They want the State to do everything for them. If they went to the bathroom they want the State to tell them how many sheets of toilet paper to use to wipe their ass.

  102. West: Uh uh.. see what had happened

  103. Malisha says:

Well at least if O’Mara now takes the stand and West questions HIM, their story will be corroborated!

I think this charade is to show Fogen and his outhousers that West and O’Mara really CAN do something exciting (I’ll bet there are a lot of guys getting really excited about now, eating their cheetos while watching the livestream) in court, because at trial there won’t be opportunity for much excitement for these two.

OM: “And isn’t it true Ms. DeeDee that you lied about going to the hospital?”

    BDLR: Objection. Relevancy.

    JN: Sustained. Move on.

OM: Ms DeeDee, is it your testimony that you actually exist and that you are not those other women who do not?

    BDLR: Objection. Stupidity.

    JN: Sustained. Move on.

OM: Ms. DeeDee, were you pregnant by the thug when you lied about going to his funeral?

BDLR: Objection. Incompetent, irrelevant and immaterial.

    JN: Sustained. Move on.

OM: Ms. DeeDee, Didn’t Mr. Crump coach you to say all those awful things about the defendant?

    BDLR: Objection. Asked and answered.

    JN: Sustained. Move on.

OM: Ms. DeeDee, Isn’t it true that you entered into a scurrilous and unlawful agreement with Trayvon Martin’s parents to scheme a million dollars out of the HOA?

    BDLR: Objection. Badgering.

JN: Overruled. Ms. DeeDee you may answer.

DeeDee: I don’t get the question. Is it about squirrels or badgers?

  104. If the defense had deposed Dee Dee last fall, they would have obtained the information they claim they were denied — information BTW that they have obtained more than a month before trial.

Therefore, there is no prejudice to the defense and no basis for sanctions.

The defense cannot delay or refuse to investigate the case and later seek sanctions after they obtain information.

The motion for sanctions for “concealing” the admission about the non-hospital visit is ridiculous and the information in any event is not material or relevant and probably inadmissible.

    • I’m taking a screen shot of your comment and pasting it on 3Chics. 🙂

    • ay2z says:

Did you notice that after the ‘Francine’ comment, West referred to Witness 8 as ‘he’, then BDLR reinforced the ‘she’ several times.

Faux paw step or West playing more games to start speculation and discussions and more doxing attempts?

Hope it was a slip of gender, maybe Mr. West was flustered.

      • Xena says:

Hope it was a slip of gender, maybe Mr. West was flustered.

In no way do I mean this offensively, nor to be funny. West is gay — a bottom guy, and that is why he confuses “she” with “he.”

      • ay2z says:

Xena, thanks for the explanation. It was such a clear ‘he’ at the moment BDLR was inquiring about the sensitive need for confidentiality agreed to by both sides.

    • ay2z says:

It was good for the state to be able to clarify this for the court, and the defense gave Bernie the opportunity to do that for all the defense pocket media to see, hear and record.

  105. amsterdam1234 says:

Let me get this straight. All the information they gathered, came from w8 during deposition. They could’ve had it all a year ago.

  106. trina cosbie says:

No he didn’t just say her name…..of course it will be redacted, but that means nothing since West said her name on camera!! Can sanctions be imposed for this ish!!!

  107. Two sides to a story says:

Oh-ho – here comes the TRUTH about W8 letter.

  108. SoulSistaWoo says:

    Get in his arse Bernie!

  109. lurker says:

Dropping the name of a friend of Witness 8?

    On live TV?

    Talk about unprofessional behavior!

  110. jm says:

Can’t stand this any more. Boring and seems unnecessary. Sounds like defense wants to affect public opinion. Hopefully I will get to see Judge Nelson’s ruling or whatever at the end of this.

  111. FactsFirst says:

BAM! WEST DROPS NAME!!! Misson accomplished!!! SMDH…

  112. SoulSistaWoo says:

    This is ridiculous!

  113. Patricia J-C says:

Can someone tell me if BDLR will be able to cross-exam skelator?

  114. SoulSistaWoo says:

This is a disgracful and dangerous game MOM and West are playing… If they are truly attempting to out Witness 8, there is absolutly nothing funny about this game.

They are pissing me off to no end.

  115. LOL! Did y’all see the guy in front row yawning?

  116. Zia B. says:

I just want to get to the butt kicking that Nelson is going to deliver…that is all! Fogen and all the cookies he ate are coming back up, I can feel it. Enough of the whiny lawyers. Next.

I do love how engaged we all are on this issue. I can see I am not the only one who is on live stream, DVRing at home, reading comments, etc.

  117. tonydphotog says:

Junior tweeted that he’s in the courtroom. I guess we did see him behind Crump.

  118. What O’Mara and West doing? This seems so rehearsed and fake that it’s making me uncomfortable.

  119. jm says:

Where is Judge Nelson at this point? Is this necessary or relevant?

  120. groans says:

Isn’t this all old stuff from bygone hearings?

  121. FactsFirst says:

So will O’Mara be taking the stand next?

  122. lurker says:

West just dodged. O’Mara asked him if he knew that the state had whatever. He claims his knowledge was based on “knowing” that they would get it.

  123. tonydphotog says:

Is poor West going to start crying?

  124. WTF is this nonsense? Enough already!

  125. KittySP says:

West deserves to ‘punched’ in the nose until it’s bloody!

  126. Trained Observer says:

Fogen’s striped shirt and sorta striped yellar tie. Is he developing a taste for prison-style stripes?

  127. Rachael says:

I guess this would be a good time to take my dog out to poop.

  128. lurker says:

Didn’t get the information until we “caught it being hid.”

Does BDLR get to cross-examine this witness?

  129. Why is no one objecting to this madness????

    • FactsFirst says:

      They’re in shock!

    • Malisha says:

Sometimes a judge letting it go on and on and on and on and on and THEN denying is a better tack then cutting it off and denying because then there’s an appeal saying, “but she didn’t let us present our reasons…” whine whine whine…

    • OMG! I cannot believe this.

    • Nef05 says:

That’s what I want to know. It appears this motion was written to allow the defense to testify for the cameras, not for the sanctions. This has been an ongoing O’Mara habit. Remember the “mini-trial” bond hearings? Any sanctions they might be granted appear to be a bonus.

    • Xena says:

They’re all sleep. That’s why no one is objecting. It’s like, “wake me up after West sobers up and talks at regular speed and tone.”

  130. Trained Observer says:

OK Don … you get in the box, and I’ll ask you stuff that I already know the answer to. Meanwhile, you do your best to twist what ever you can to make it seem like Witness 8 ought to be charged with the murder. What a charade.

  131. FactsFirst says:

BWAHhahhaha! WOOO WEEE!! Bernie dozing off!!! This is classic!

  132. What is West and O’Mara doing? Make it stop!

  133. tonydphotog says:

Why is JN not shutting him up????

  134. Tzar says:

So the defense is using west on the stand to reveal deposition material and that witness 8 lives in Jacksonville
that FDLE escorted her to jacksonville on specific dates

they are trying to get this girl found

  135. lurker says:

He did research online to see if he could “connect up this idea of hospital”? What does that mean? Reading the comments at the Treehouse?

  136. KittySP says:

    is this Masterpiece Theater?!?!

  137. Trained Observer says:

What is this nonsense ? … Two defense dopes chattin’ away on the stand about Witness 8’s post murder activities that have nothing to do with anything. How long will JN allow this to go on?

    • texad says:

I hope that in BDLR’s cross he goes HARD on Don West and reminds him that all the nonsense he is spouting has already been ruled on by Judge Nelson. West and MOM are both embarrassments to the legal profession. What they are doing is not in the interest of justice-they are PERVERTING justice.

  138. Nef05 says:

There you go. West is testifying on the record, for the TV cameras, to impeach DeeDee before she even testifies. They’re couching in terms of “sanctions”,but it’s really about the jury pool and their impression of DeeDee before she ever takes the stand.

    This should not be allowed.

  139. trina cosbie says:

I wish JN would tell West to get his arse out of her box!!

  140. KittySP says:

Well, you must really have some investigate sense…considering you weren’t even in the room, West!

  141. Rachael says:

And what the heck does that have to do with GZ killing Trayvon that night?

  142. KittySP says:

    Finally, JN intervenes!

  143. Lynn says:

    JN: what’s the relevance?

  144. tonydphotog says:

    Wow! This is beyond ridiculous!

I’ve lost track of what they’re even talking about.

  145. I am so jealous that I cannot see this live. Goodness, this sounds like the most entertaining spectacle known to law.

  146. jm says:

What is the point of West testifying? What do they want?

  147. Lynn says:

This just in…West is asking for a bottle of water. YAWN.

  148. Lynn says:

West seems to be trying to pull his answers from thin air. Who’s on first? What’s on second?

  149. Xena says:

If GZ’s face gets bigger, he won’t have eyelids.

  150. trina cosbie says:

Their point to West “testifying” is to say, lookie here, GZ own attorney testified without protest, so why can’t Crump?!?!

  151. No sanctions imposed on BDLR for his epic putdown, but O’Mara will be permitted to specify certain objectionable references to him. O’Mara will be permitted to propose redactions within 5 days and give it to BDLR, who will have 5 days to agree or disagree.

If agreed, Judge Nelson will approve and sign an order to that effect. If not agreed, she will hold a hearing and rule on the disagreements.

  152. lurker says:

“Redacted or not recorded” big difference!

  153. FactsFirst says:

I can’t believe this is happening.. wow..

  154. What’s going on??? Someone explain the weirdness, please.

  155. What the hell are they doing?

  156. Xena says:

NOW we have a defense attorney turned witness. This is a circus.

  157. No sanctions on the first one.

  158. lurker says:

    Richardson hearing?

  159. jm says:

    Love, love, love Judge Nelson.

  160. lurker says:

Ooooh–Judge spanked O’Mara. If there are specifics to be redacted, go ahead and ask. But BOTH sides have been guilty of inappropriate pleadings.

  161. rayvenwolf says:

MoM doesn’t get that his name was mud BEFORE the pleading was made public.

    • rayvenwolf says:

discussing MoM’s motions for Sanctions. Or rather he’s trying to convince the court that BDLR crossed the line in his response and strike it.

  162. You all have thoughtful comments says:

    Right on, Bernie!

  163. Nef05 says:

OH – WTF, quit whining you little B***h. You lie everytime you open your mouth, and you want to whine about someone punching back when you accuse them of malfeasance? GTFOHWTBS!!!

  164. jm says:

Think Judge Nelson recognizes MOM is grandstanding?

  165. If I were Nelson I’d call the bailiff and send him to jail.

  166. lurker says:

Talking about DBLR pleading being disrespectful.

  167. You all have thoughtful comments says:

    Sandbox works for me.

  168. Hipocracy, thy name is O’Mara!!!!!!!!!!

  169. Rachael says:

    What a baby O’Mara is.

  170. The GALL of O’Mara!

  171. You have got to be kidding me. I am going go Go Throw Up.

  172. lurker says:

Wants the court to strike BDLR’s response to the sanctions motion.

  173. Nobody has been sanctioned for telling the truth.

  174. Lynn says:

    Now we’re on to sanctions.

  175. ay2z says:

Junior’s face behind Mr. Creump and his lawyer– how much can jr hear, or have his phone on to record from that camera advantage position?

  176. Xena says:

GZ’s security guard and Junior are sitting behind attorney Crump.

  177. Lynn says:

    I see Anegla Corey!

  178. You all have thoughtful comments says:

Why did gz say, “After consultation with my lawyers…” and then gave his answer that he would not seek an immunity hearing before
    the trial?

  179. Nellie Nell says:

There, he said it!!! No pretrial immunity hearing!

Wonder what his supporters will say now?

The fact that the murderer says, “After discussing it with my attorney” somehow makes it seem like he is not part of the decision?

    • towerflower says:

“Wonder what his supporters will say now?” ——– some will speak with closing their wallets, the rest will come up with a new conspiracy theory.

  180. Judge Nelson stitched him up. There will be no pretrial immunity hearing and his waiver is bullet proof on appeal.

  181. groans says:

Was the killer saying, “Yes, sir”?

  182. Two sides to a story says:

  183. lurker says:

I don’t think Z and O’Mara are in agreement–advised to answer that “on the advice of counsel” Z has agreed.

  184. Rachael says:

Why was there so much trouble with that last question? Hmmmm. Interesting.

  185. Lynn says:

    Was that so hard?

  186. She’s stitching him up. Wow.

  187. Two sides to a story says:

Yes sir , yes sir, yes sir? Wha’?

  188. Xena says:

BAM! GZ is not getting his way with Judge Nelson.

  189. rayvenwolf says:

Seriously? Five minutes, do none of these fools have a watch?

  190. SoulSistaWoo says:

OMG… I love it! They do not want to answer in open court!

  191. lurker says:

Can’t even trust Z to answer yes or no.

  192. Rachael says:

He is really pissing me off!!!

  193. lurker says:

Sounds like he doesn’t want the judge to question Zimmerman.

  194. ay2z says:

affidavit route vs questioning by court

    • ay2z says:

Judge Nelson did not ask time frame of when fogen learned of the SYG, as he sure didn’t know it on Hannity– was that one of the proof questions on Hannity that the defense could have brought up prior to this morning’s court inquiry as strategy maybe?

      • towerflower says:

I believed he lied about not knowing about the SYG law. When you get a concealed license here in Florida they send you several pamphlets about various laws and carrying and one of them was the SYG statue.

  195. Rachael says:

    OMG, O’Mara!!!

  196. ay2z says:

oops…. back in session w/out the defense complement

  197. lurker says:

    Waiting . . .

  198. FactsFirst says:

Where’d the defense go? Did they duck out the back door??? Scared ass rabbits!!!

  199. You all have thoughtful comments says:

Does anyone know where I would go later to find the official court transcript of this hearing?

  200. Back in session.

    Where’s O’Mara?

  201. Lynn says:

Judge is back…waiting…sent someone to tell MOM that we’re back in session. lol

  202. SoulSistaWoo says:

MOM and Fogen are in the back arguing over what will be said in open court next!

  203. lurker says:

Oops, the judge is back and now they have to wait for O’Mara.

  204. Xena says:

I just looked at Judge Nelson and thought about Janis Joplin.

  205. Ty Flair says:

Get fogen a extra pair of pants, looks like he done sh@t on his self. Omara has been corner end now. Show your hand O’mara show us what you got.

  206. Judge Nelson wants to place the defendant under oath and ask him if he wants to voluntarily relinquish his statutory right to an immunity hearing.

O’Mara has objected stating that he wants to keep the option available to possibly assert after the State and defense have rested at trial.

  207. SearchingMind says:

O’Mara wants everything done in secret! GZ looks timid. This ain’t going well. Why is O’Mara protesting toooo much. What is he hiding? Something wrong somewhere.

  208. Lynn says:

Defense was taken out. BDLR and Natalie chatting while waiting.

  209. The problem with combining the immunity hearing with the trial is that it forces the defendant to waive his right to remain silent.

    • Nef05 says:

Which would invalidate the trial itself, because of the 5th amendment?

    • ay2z says:

      He’s Waiving!

Story and pic of hand up taking oath while waiving. (or will he later claim he thought she meant for him to ‘wave’ to the court 😉

      ABC affiliate WFTV headline:

“George Zimmerman won’t seek immunity hearing in Trayvon Martin”

      Posted: 12:17 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013

SANFORD, Fla. — The man who is charged with fatally shooting 17-year-old Trayvon Martin told a judge Tuesday that he agrees with his defense attorneys’ decision not to seek an immunity hearing under the state’s “Stand Your Ground” self-defense law.

  210. this is BULLSHIT! he better have to answer in FRONT of ALL OF US!! no special treatment!!

  211. SoulSistaWoo says:

Are they allowing him to waive immunity off camera?

  212. rayvenwolf says:

Time for coffee and a smoke

  213. I think O’Mara is trying to see how that trial goes, and tinker with that right to remain silent, and I am not sure what Nelson thinks about this.

  214. amsterdam1234 says:

Did I see a smirk on BdlR’s face?

  215. Lynn says:

    5 Min recess

  216. jm says:

GZ looks more than overweight. His face is bloated.

    • rayvenwolf says:

Considering the rapid weight gain, I wouldn’t be surprised if some other health issue is cropping up. I mean he went from lets say average to rail thin to the hindenberg like that.

      • abbyj says:

It looks, too, as if he may be on heavy, heavy doses of antidepressant medication, Rayven. That socks on weight in massive amounts, it’s known. The heavier the dosage, the more weight goes on. Coupled with is half-day incarcerations, his fears of going outside, and anxieties of the case (compulsive eating), these have probably contributed to his huge weight gain. He has to be on heavy medications–IMO.

Does anyone happen to know whether inmates are allowed to have antidepressant medications once they are incarcerated?

  217. rayvenwolf says:

blink blink blink blink. i think Fogen is trying to send eye based morse code to some one.

  218. Nef05 says:

While we’re waiting, has anyone seen the Mrs.in the courtroom?

  219. Lynn says:

Fogen is sitting…staring blankly…BLINK, BLINK, BLINK.

  220. Oh cool! Handling this one off the bat! I can’t wait! Do tell!!!!

  221. Xena says:

O’Mara is dumb as rocks. Immunity means immune from prosecution. It doesn’t mean going through trial then asking to be immune from trial.

    • Tzar says:

he certainly thinks his donors and jury pool are dumb as rocks

      • LeaNder says:

Absolutely, He is prevaricating. There is a reason why an a SYG hearing happens before trial. They only little bit he uses in his argument that there are no clearly defined time limits by the only motion that is still open to him. The first he waived himself. He only could have done that at arraignment.

  222. Lynn says:

Now MOM wants it in camera away from the courts eyes.

    • Nef05 says:

He doesn’t want the donors/supporters to hear the words coming out of fogen’s mouth. It’s as if he doen’t realise that we’ll fnd out anyway – even if it’s only by the fact that there’s never an immunity hearing scedule before 6/10.

Tomorrow is 5/1. If he’s going to calendar it, it would have to be in the next week or so.

    • Tzar says:

if that isn’t someone trying the case in the media/public and attempting to taint the jury pool, then I don’t know what is.

      • LeaNder says:

absolutely. Debra Nelson, has clearly recognized that by now. Good decision to deal with the money motions post trial. Obviously they would only use it against her, if she does not agree with them. Making their fan base shout prejudice. She didn’t seem convinced, and Bernie was really, really good. He carefully slipped in quite interesting information. Good lady, good man.

  223. jm says:

What is MOM’s problem with having GZ asked simple question?

  224. Lynn says:

If he’s waiving his immunity hearing.

    • Nef05 says:

I think O’ara is trying to split hairs on whether it will be “pre-trial” or “during” trial. If O’Mara let’s him waive it will only be “pre-trial”. This is exactly what the prosecution wants clarified, and O’Mara is tiptoeing around.

  225. What question does she want to ask GZ?

  226. Lynn says:

JN: I’m going to have Zimmerman stand and raise his right hand…
MOM: I don’t think that’s appropriate, your Honor!

  227. rayvenwolf says:

M’OM is tap dancing again. Just let Tweedledum answer the damn questions!!!

  228. Rachael says:

Oh he tells the judge he doesn’t think it’s appropriate? This is gonna be good.

  229. Two sides to a story says:

Dang, – CNN livestream suddenly ended. Went to WFTV – thanks for the link, guys!

  230. BOOM Zot Wham.

Duh da duh da duh da duh da da da….

  231. Nef05 says:

West got CHECKED – No arguments to the court after it has rule on an issue. MOVE ON! LOL!!!

  232. Xena says:

Judge Nelson seems to be impatient with West and his repeated arguments. Hahahaha.

  233. SoulSistaWoo says:

Is that Joe Oliver Ballhead in the rear right, behind West?

  234. Rachael says:

LOL Judge to Mr. West. Is he dense or what?

  235. KittySP says:

    ***BAM*** suck it West!!!

  236. jm says:

Judge Nelson is a pleasant relief from the judge on Arias trial. She cuts to the chase.

  237. Xena says:

West still has a hard on for Ben Crump. Now he wants to allege that Crump has a cleaned up copy of the 911 recording.

  238. Yes, keep the comments going. I am sitting at my desk, as my students are writing. It is killing me that I can’t see this.

  239. rayvenwolf says:

    Anyone spotted Jr yet?

  240. Nef05 says:

I KNEW it! The tape heard by Mr. Martin is NOT the fed enhanced tape.

    • LeaNder says:

Many good statements by Bernie, e.g. what if Tracy heard it on a better equipment int he city hall? Good point, Also Bernie is a lot more fair, consider if it matters that Sybrina Fulton is present at DeeDee interview, would it matter too that Tracy at the time he made the “relevant statement”, on February 28, 10 something a.m., was observed by all these upright SPD officers? Knowing full well what their opinion was, and thus their opinion about their son?

  241. I just got an on-the-spot urge to slam West up against a wall and knock his teeth halfway down his throat.

  242. looolooo says:

Keep the comments coming. I’m stuck here in my towns municipal court room where I volunteer 3 mornings a week. Thought about playing hooky, but they’ve come to depend on me. Oh well. I know Trent Sawyer will have it up on YouTube later, and all of your comments will fill in any info gaps. Luv y’all!

    • Trained Observer says:

Fogen looking a little pale this morn. If anything, a few pounds heavier, Cheeks look like he’s got a wad of Mail Pouch on each side.

  243. jm says:

    GZ looks a wreck. Drugged?

    • Two sides to a story says:

His posture and condition make me think he knows he’s got a big problem coming down the line.

  244. Xena says:

West would put me to sleep in court.

    • rayvenwolf says:

      same here

    • He is boring! Ugh!

      • LeaNder says:

oddly subdued, I would say. Hesitated a lot, even when O’Mara questioned him. Beyond what you called boring, considering O’Mara’s strike motion. Quite interesting that ultimately he choose West to stand up concerning all the allegations. Is he already considering damage control concerning his “reputation”.

Debra Nelson, was great, ditto Bernie. Bernie I love you. 😉

Imagine 6 to hours of deposition of Sybrina Fulton. How ridiculous is that?

      • LeaNder says:

Sorry, Xena and others. I had to watch this. Your response obviously concerns something much earlier.

    • William Walton says:

Xena, Boring. GZ looked like the huge potted plant and Omara looked like the skinny potted plant. GZ also did not look too happy during the hour I watched the hearing. Nelson looked like she thought why are we going over this again?

      • Xena says:

        @William Walton

GZ looked like the huge potted plant and Omara looked like the skinny potted plant.

O’Mara has a stress gut. And yeah, GZ did look kinda green like a plant.

    • abbyj says:

Xena, MOM & West are like the Odd Couple. MOM is such a friggen Drama Queen, so high strung, whiney, and strident. And then there’s West, whose voice is several registers lower, painfully slow in making his points, and puts everyone to sleep. The two of them are so extreme in their styles that there’s no middle ground: no steady, even-tempered, effective attorney who is able to articulate points quickly. JMO, but the two of them leave a huge hole in the middle, as per the impression of any competent representation.

  245. Xena says:

    Zimmerman is still huge.

  246. Two sides to a story says:

Wow, that’s more media folks than usual, huh?

  247. hire your self a data file expert! lol

  248. amsterdam1234 says:

    This one works too.

  249. ic2fools says:

Thank you Professor. I just couldn’t bear watching this at other sites I located. No way I would download wkmg app with Fogens’ killer mug on my precious cell with those horrible horrible comments made by Fogen Supporters.

Here I can read and participate in intelligent conversations and opinions about today’s hearing.

Hello everyone missed ya’ll. See ya’ll back ’round 9am.

    Tic Toc Fogen Tic Toc!!!

  250. god west is going on and on and on …. blah blah blah… get to it man!

  251. FactsFirst says:

Good Morning Everyone!!! This is the link I’m watching right now.. http://livewire.wesh.com/Event/Zimmerman_hearing_to_clarify_stand_your_ground_defense

  252. Nef05 says:

Good morning all. If anyone is still having audio difficulties, it’s up on FOX35.

  253. Xena says:

I also have on HLN. They are working on the sound.

  254. willisnewton says:

Here we go. Personally, I’m looking to learn something, anything new here about what evidence will be made public.

  255. LeaNder says:

Has anyone a better link, the one Lynn? sent does not work for me.
Or they are having technical troubles.

  256. Rachael says:

    Good morning everyone!
