I’ll Take Expectations and Outcomes for $1 Million, Alex

Leander22 provided the inspiration for today’s post with this comment:

“Admittedly I tend to be slightly pessimistic concerning the ways of the world and justice . . . Maybe there is more hope than reason to despair?”

Or, as my late father was fond of remarking with a sly smile:

My dad used to tell me, “Cheer up. Things could be worse. So I cheered up and sure enough, things got worse.”

Warriors know that they must cultivate and refine the ability to silence internal dialogue, discard self-importance, detach from life’s turmoil and see that all they do is controlled folly. There are no beginnings or endings. They laugh at themselves, focus in the moment and celebrate that they are here to experience it.

The day when there will be no tomorrows left for you to experience is not here yet.

The battle for justice began eons before you were born and will continue eons after you are gone.

I will be the first to admit that I routinely forget this ancient wisdom and get caught up with my bullshit.

That’s why I do Tai Chi and meditate.

They help me get back in the now.

That light at the end of the tunnel may be a new tomorrow you are approaching or an oncoming train approaching you.

Might they be the same?

Im kidding you know. I couldn’t avoid the temptation of a chance at banter.
Truth be told…in my humble opinion…you do some cool stuff here.

    To all Leatherman U. Students:

Joseph Freeman’s profile of Sanford Mayor Jeff Triplett in the April 13, 2012, Christian Science Monitor may cause you to think twice about Sanford being “all racist, all the time.”

    Take this quote
    from Freeman’s report:

“One thing is for certain: Trayvon’s case does not leave Triplett where it found him. He was never at the center of the drama, but the role he played – behind the scenes, in television interviews, at key decision points – appears to have been an important supporting one. And it came, like all career-changing roles, out of nowhere.

“Triplett was with his two young sons in Tampa, Fla., watching them play football, when he first heard the name of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

“ ‘My phone just starts blowing up,” he says in an interview. Upon hearing that George Zimmerman wasn’t arrested after shooting Trayvon, Triplett put his head in his hands in disbelief.

“ ‘What do you mean you didn’t arrest him?” he remembers thinking. “I don’t get it. I don’t understand.’ ”

Trayvon Martin case a trial by fire for rookie Sanford mayor …

I just want to be sure im clear im only joking on the comment up there.

The professor is anything but bullshit. The humor was supposed to be in the blatent non truth of my comment.

Now that Ive read more pages here… trolling and all…I just want to be sure i didnt leave the wrong impression.

I could use Tai Chi and/or Zen mediation now.

As far as “warrior” is concerned, especially combined with “public opinion”, I am back to my pet topic, or one of the gate keeper’s on “the left”:

http://www.talkleft.com/story/2013/2/1/23854/40798Age of the Tele-Rat: Trayvon Martin’s Missing Cell Phone Data

The comment section is open again. Every single comment critical of her article or GZ in general has disappeared. I had gained considerable calm since I left here page behind me for good. But I am back with adrenaline flowing through my veins.

All I wanted was to respond to your post and copy a beautiful comment by a legal colleague it seemed to fit the larger context you allude to. Adding HOPE. He suggested that the Trayvon Martin case will change the ways law will deal with such cases in the future. It was in the context of a longer debate between him and Jeralyn. I surely hope it will. All down the memory hole by now, more than 100 comments disappeared 😉

I need monitor software that includes the comment section would be helpful here too. 😉

Gone for a while, Tai Chi would be good, but I guess I will need a little Zen meditation.

Listen he says Im not asking you to repeal his pension…..

Well foggen an I have found some common ground

Im not sugesting that foggen face jusice an be held acountable for Trayvons murder
We are not immplying that he face justice for his heinous act of treacherous indifference to the screams for mercy from a child with tears rolling down his cheeks
We are DEMANDING he be held acountable .

  5. colin black says:

foggen probably has pretensious prick syndrome .
His brother weeseebobby jr certainly suffers from it.

    Say what?

This was his outrage at the beating of a homeless Bahck Man.
Not a word of compensation for the battered victim assaulted by some police bigwigs son.

No he wants the cheif of police? I think as Im not familiar with the specifics.

But he wants this guy to lose there job an be stripped of there pennsion..MONEY….foggen has none had none an was never legitimitly get to experience wealth let alone finacial security.

So hatefull people like him are miserable an miserey loves company so if old foggen can slip the knife in an ruin a life he will.

How on earth could foggen talk so disrespectfully / hatefully critisiseing S P D as donut eating sleeping on the job bunch of non long gun carring wasters.

And yet expect them and have them bend over backwards to cover up the blatent murder of an innocen child?

Talk about sychronicity I watched a documentry on channel 4 uk last night or night before.

The blurb for the progrme said I think it was Dispatches tv doc show.
Wich has done excellent exposes before like the secret policemans ball.Exposeing instituinal raceism withing The London Met Police force.
A young Black trainee officer went under cover with pin hole secret camra an secret recording.

Its Dispatches modis oparandi to get scoops.
So the other night the header for the show was under cover sex scandall within Church.

I assumed it was going to be the Cathlic Church but it wasnt .
Was the Jewish Orthodox Rabbis .
One had mollseted this blike when he was a youth as well as other reports of misconduct of a sexuall nature against this Rabbi.

So this guy secret camera an all went to different rabbis.
Cheifs or higher ups in the church an explained what had happened an asked for advice,And wether he should take it to the Police.
Each and everyone of them told him no that they would deal with it as an internall matter.
And not to inform the ploice or anyone else as it would damage the reputation of the Faith /Church.

Later when asked about the incidents an meetings an the advice they had given.
Each an every one of them deneid ever saying that the Abused Boy shouldnt inform the police.
But each an every one of them was on camera saying exactlly that.

Nothing major time wise max sentance I ever receives was three years . but sreved two.
Even as a youth I grew up in homes an foster care as both my parents were abusive.
I dont say this for pity as I would not have my life any other way.

Top security was for level A an level E ….

A was Murders armed robbers ect an E was for escapee

An as Id escaped all my life from aproved schools borstals escaped from back of police cars escaped from court twice jumping the dock an escaped from prison.

When you discuss there crimes an actions they took an how could they manage to be so depraved ect.
They explain the lack of empathy remorse has no meaning no concept does not compute.

And If you were for instance able to wave a magic wand an give them normal feelings of empathy love an joy in relationships we experience.
To them that would be there worst night mare

Just in case anyone missed it, the following is GZ criticizing the Sanford Police Dept. in 2011. He talked in riddles even then.

He said nothing, other than, “You should take away Tooley’s pension” and “I think I am very important and when I sat down to write these very important words I reminded myself of how very important it was to make them show how important I really am. Thank you.”

First he says “I’m not asking you to repeal his pension” then that is all he talks about. LOL.

          LOL. Kinda like;
“I really haven’t had time to reflect. When I was in jail I had time to reflect and that is why I called my wife numerous times about moving money so I could get the hell out of Dodge after making bail.”

      • Jun says:

So basically Fogenhats lied again and his only activity was finding someone to blame and slandering them and trying to ruin someone’s life

From what I heard, Tooley arrested the perp as soon as he saw the footage himself

So I see no surprises on Fogenhats MO there

      • Trained Observer says:

“… and have I mentioned how important my words and I are … given my status as a genuine renter within this fine city of questionable repute? And by the way, I mentor children.”

  10. seallison says:

Well, peaceful protests are likened to terrorist activities these days. The Occupy movement did not gain momentum because many people think it is a waste of time — even though 99% are affected. It is called apathy and complacency. People are afraid to participate because the MSM seems to only report where there is violence and accentuates it causing the fear. The bulk of MSM outlets are owned by the 1% after all – Mainly right-wing. Many people have just given up trying to fix a broken system left wide open to corruption in the financial world.

The Justice for Trayvon march sparked talks about gun control again and then the Newtown massacre was the last straw.

    • Two sides to a story says:

The Occupy movement is alive and well – it has evolved into many other actions. In my state, they are supporting people being evicted from their homes and many other more active situations than camping out and protesting.

    • seallison says:

TSTAS – Occupy is very quiet in Canada and I think it is because of the weather. Not kidding. At present, we have a very secretive Right-Wing Prime Minister who relies on the citizen complacency. It is human nature that, unless it affects you personally, let the rest worry about it.

I worked with someone who owned a StingRay in the 70s. His wife was a teacher who drove a Camaro Convertible. They had no children and were late 20s.

A newspaper headlined that the price of milk was going up 5 cents a quart. They laughed and said – Big Deal – 5 cents a quart. I said it may not make a difference to you. But, a family with 4 kids and making a heck of a lot less money than the both of you do feel the difference.

About 3 months later, the newspaper headline read – gasoline was going up in price by 5 cents a quart. Well, they spouted off about it for a week. I said, you chose to buy a house in the suburbs and buy alot of gas for your big cars. You will feel the price raise. But, those people who made a fuss about the 5 cent a quart raise in the price of milk don’t care about the price of gas. They are usually using public transit, bicycles, or are walking.

Two professionals and to think I had to even have this discussion still amazes me.

At present, all is quiet in Canada because the PM and his cabinet with a majority government choose to enact legislation that only affects a certain portion of Canadian society at a time. So, the rest think – let them fight their own fight. Harper is one of those silent but deadly PMs who used to be a member of the equivalent of your Tea Party and moved over to the equivalent of the Republicans. But, his agenda never changed. He knew who to target for the last election and won by a nose.

  11. boyd says:

your friend makes a great point. We may never wake up, seems the counry lost that desire to protest in mass since the vietnam era ended. I heard Al Sharpton say something to the effect the civil rights era was just the begining not the end. .

We have so many problems, a co-worker on a project informed me yesterday, her Aetna health insurance doubled from 600-1200 a month. She has a 6 year old that had brain surgery when he was 3.

There are no jobs, outsourcing issues, and we just sit back and do nothing
I heard the President strategy on guns is similar to the fight against cigarettes back in the 60’s. Took many years to change minds.

    • abbyj says:

@Boyd, Interesting parallel here that you mention, the parallels between the fight against cigarettes in the early 60s and the fight to halt all controls on guns and weapons now.

Both cigarettes and guns have been deeply engrained in our culture, and yet both groups have fought the undeniable realities and evidence that proved them deadly. More insidious, both the tobacco lobby and gun lobby have had unimaginably well-funded and powerful lobbies.

As you state, it took many years to change minds w/tobacco, and it will take time to reshape attitudes about guns. At least the discussion is under way.

      • I DO NOT disagree with you….

I would like to question why there’s no uproar over the 195,000 (One Hundred & Ninety Five Thousand) average that die annually as a result of medical malpractice…..what lobbies are behind that?

And who pays the price? WE DO…….Doctors malpractice insurance goes up…..so does the cost of seeing the doctor.

I feel Omara or Fogenhats will flip out in court soon

Nelson has already gotten that reaction from a rapist during trial she was residing over as judge

Maybe Fogenhats will lose it and blame Omara and deck him in the face

    • Jun, If the mofofogen decks MOM in the face (and quite likely breaks his nose), the prosecutor be able to do a side-by-side comparison of fogen’s photo of his alledged nose-boo-boo to MOM’s real broken nose.

  13. Malisha says:

I’m not sure if this is OT or not, and if so, I apologize in advance, but this is kind of obsessing me today. I want to get out of my room and go out and do something and I’m finding it impossible, so maybe once I get this written, I’ll be “freed” and get past it.

Last night I went to dinner at the home of a friend of mine. She and I have been best friends and colleagues in a nonprofit venture for a total combined 33 years now. I was day-care provider to her son and she is “auntie” to mine. We’re both Jews, but over the years she has become an Orthodox Jew and I am still a “secular Jew” in the meaning of “opposite of Orthodox.” She invited me to Sabbath dinner last night and I had not seen her for months.

After our friendly greetings we talked about things she wanted to talk about. Nowadays I do not introduce subjects because she has a habit of adopting more or less the same positions that her Rabbi has adopted (they are very prone to doing this in the Orthodox community) and I don’t enjoy useless arguments with people whose positions have been either aligned with or even dictated by religious authorities; it is distressing and counterproductive. Anyway, we finally got around to speaking about whether or not we would collaborate on a book about “the life interest” and the issue of children’s rights in the context of child abuse cases in the court system. She expressed enormous discouragement and said she did not want to bring out a book about my proposed legislation for “Children at Risk” classification. I have felt for a long time that her desire to write about this would throw us both into a great effort that would go nowhere, but I was not willing to be a “wet blanket” if she wanted to do something good. I am generally the writer/editor and she is generally the Ph.D. researcher in these collaborations, and of course, they come out in her name (I’m nobody).

    The conversation:

Orthodox Friend: I no longer want to write the book.

    ME: OK.

OF: Do you want to know why?

ME: Sure. [I thought it would be because she wanted to do some more religious research and didn’t have time for this stuff.]

OF: Because it will do no good.

ME: I agree. But why do you say that?

OF: If the President of the United States cannot get any laws passed to correct a horrible deadly situation, how can we get any laws passed to protect children? I mean, in this country, the right to take a gun and kill somebody is greater than the right not to be killed by somebody with a gun!
    = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =

Here was somebody with whom I had not even discussed the Trayvon Martin killing, who has recently lined up her political position with hawks and aggressors, and who came out with this truism from her observation from a completely different angle from my own.

That is what the Trayvon Martin murder case has been trying to say, and what we have been trying to make it stop saying:

UNTIL AND UNLESS Fogen is convicted for murder,
His right to kill Trayvon Martin
    will have been greater
than Trayvon Martin’s right not to be killed.

    Let it not be so.

    • Two sides to a story says:

I feel your pain, Malisha. But hopefully, for every person that has given up there are dozens more picking up the banner.

Get out and find some peace!

    • Romaine says:

I continuously pray that Trayvon Martins death has and will not be in vein…May GODS will be forever present in his life, and death…Vengenance is mine thus sayeth the lord…I believe GODS will shall reign. many blessings to Trayvons family and you all.

    • You all have thoughtful comments says:

      Yes, Malisha,

Trayvon DID have a RIGHT not to be killed! Until all people recognize this, I fear for our country.

I ache when I hear his desperate cries for help and his begging for his life. We as a country need to hear those cries so that we say “NEVER AGAIN”. Those cries are a moral call to us for a response requiring immediate action so that there will be no more future “Trayvons”.

I deeply mourn that Trayvon’s cries for help were in vain. I cannot fathom the excruciating terror he experienced…..it is frightening to me just to consider stepping into Trayvon’s shoes at that fateful moment. I might be an empathetic person, but I do not have the emotional strength to step into that moment with Trayvon……it is just too frightening and would be too overwhelming for me.

However, I CAN advocate for Trayvon: I CAN call for justice; I CAN carefully read the evidence and point out how it incriminates a depraved killer. I can stand up to gz’s following of racists and gun nuts. I REFUSE to be a passive, impotent bystander.

And, I do stand with his love ones in their grief and hope they feel my thoughts of love and solidarity with them.

      • You all have thoughtful comments says:

stepping into his shoes……that is, I mean……stepping mentally and emotionally into his shoes to understand what Trayvon was experiencing.

    • You all have thoughtful comments says:

I fear the gun nuts who go over the edge in their thinking and actions.

All I can think of is Anakin Skywalker who became the evil he thought he was fighting and ended up being Darth Vader.

Remember that picture of the child Anakin Skywalker with the shadow of Darth Vader behind him?

[I was going to post the link to that picture, but the link comes out too long.]

    • Malisha…You summed it up perfectly! The fogenbots are not only racist but fogen represents their right to kill for whatever reason…that’s why they support him. But, even if fogen is proved guilty of killing an innocent black teen, the fogenbots won’t give two s#!+s about fogen anymore…the fact that a black teen is dead is all they care about…..and in their eyes, he had no rights……

PS – The suffering and the path – enlightenment – are the same. Just as that light at the tunnel is both the new tomorrow and the train barreling down the track.

I just love the paradox that’s so inherent in our lives. Everything is right before our faces but we’re so blind to it.

  15. Two sides to a story says:

Thank you for your reminders of our higher nature, Professor. The nod to our state of warriorship, a la Carlos Casteneda, took me back to the roots of my spiritual seach in my teens, that led eventually to my taking refuge as a Buddhist in a Tibetan Buddhist lineage.

One of the most important journeys we can ever take is to learn how to control our minds and live in equanimity. If I were Fogen, I’d run, not walk, to the nearest Buddhist teacher or other deeply spiritual teacher of any sort and begin the process of purification through meditation and mindfulness.

  16. Xena says:

Anyone here know about palm reading? GZ’s lines are very unusual, but I do not know how to interpret them. The cops took pictures of his hands and interestingly, an anti-Trayvon site enlarged the photos.

    • Two sides to a story says:

Have you tried googling that to see if anyone has “read” his hands and posted results online?

      • Xena says:

        @Two side.

Have you tried googling that to see if anyone has “read” his hands and posted results online?

I spent about 10 minutes online looking to see if anyone had done that, but did not find anything. There is one site that I might contact to see if they will. It’s just something that I find interesting.

        • Xena…..

My base mind has been checking to see if anyone in Vegas is making book on the outcome of this case, as of yet no results.

It would be interesting to find out what the book odds are? 🙂

Would you mind giving it a shot?

          • Xena says:

@Pat. Sorry. When it comes to gambling, I’m ignorant. Once I did go to a race track with a business group and placed a bet on a horse whose name was that of my dad’s. That was the only thing I saw. He won. I had no idea how much I won. Someone told me the odds and I asked what it meant. They said it meant that my horse was coming in last, and since he came in first, I won a ton of money. That’s as much as I know about gambling and odds. 🙂

      • Malisha says:

Xena, from what you said about your experience with gambling, the ODDS are that you are among the most successful gamblers in the country. 😆

      • You all have thoughtful comments says:

My mom once won a charity raffle with a prize of 4 tickets to a horse race track and a limo as transportation there. She invited three of her friends to go with her.

The night before they went, I had a dream that I was trying to bet on a horse with a certain name. But, alas, in my dream, before the race, I could not get the bubble gum machine at the track to dispense the betting ticket with that horse’s name. So, I was unable to bet on the horse.

I told my mom about the dream and gave her the name of a horse similar to the name of my dream’s horse, and suggested she and her friends bet on that horse.

Well, they all decided to bet on that horse when its race came up. Alas, just before that race, they announced over the loud speaker that that horse was being withdrawn from the race.

Just like me in my dream, my mom and her friends were unable to bet on that horse. My dream did come true.

    • Two sides to a story says:

I’m not a palm reader, but have spent some time with books, looking at my own hands long ago.

I took a look at the first link I could find – the resolution is not good on these photos, so they’re not that good for the purpose of interpretation. Fogen actually has some pretty good-looking hands, cosmetic wise. http://www.wptv.com/gallery/news/news_photo_gallery/george-zimmerman-trayvon-martin-evidence-photos#

So they look pretty smooth, like not many lines except the major lines. That could be not true, since the photos on this site aren’t good. But I do have a severly handicapped adult son whose hands are pretty smooth, and this is indicative of someone who doesn’t have much going on in their lives. Perhaps an indication that GZ will spend much of his life in jail – or – ? dealing with all the ramifications of his single act of violence – ?

I think it’s unusual for the top line to go straight into the middle finger like that – I don’t recall what that issue is – perhaps not even negative, but these often veer more toward the index finger.

My almost worthless two cents on the subject!

      • Two sides to a story says:

PS – There’s also some differences regarding reading right and left palms, if I remember correctly. THere are a zillion sites and charts online. And radio shows online, etc.

      • Two sides to a story says:

PS – I did a somewhat extensive search – maybe 30 minutes, looking for someone who has done a Fogen palm reading. Didn’t find anything promising. But did run across an audio file of an astrologer discussing the case that I hadn’t run into before.

It is labeled “In Segment 2 Chad leads us in a discussion of the recent tragic story of the shooting in Florida of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman. We have a rich discussion of the dominant archetypes represented in the charts and transits of these two men, and then this leads into a broader philosophical conversation with Jessica asking some very probing questions about the nature of being human in an archetypal cosmos.” and the link is http://archive.org/details/CorrelationsS.2E.1Segment2

The discussion starts cranking at about 7 minutes.

      • Xena says:

This link is to a Zidiot site, but they have good pics of GZ’s palms. If you click on them, they enlarge.

The dominate hand is suppose to be the one that tells how life is going. GZ is left-handed.

      • Two sides to a story says:

        Hi Xena. You’re welcome.

I think there’s some disagreement among proponents of palmistry. Traditionally, what you say about reading right and left is correct, but I listened to a bit of an audio file to an Australian woman, I think it was, who said you read the “working” hand, which might be a more modern convention. So it’s interesting that I was looking, I think, at Fogen’s left hand.

Thanks for the link to the better pictures.

      • Two sides to a story says:

Oh, duh. You said the same thing. The dominant hand. I was reading so fast I was thinking you were writing about the old view – there is an old convention about reading the right and left hand differently and not paying any attention to which is dominant. . . : – / LOL.

      • Two sides to a story says:

I’m investigating that heart line into the middle finger on Fogen’s left hand. Here’s what one site says –

        The Perfect Heart Line
The perfect line commences under the FIRST FINGER and pursues a gently curving path all the way to the percussion. This indicates a healthy and reasonably well-balanced nature emotionally. The lower the line dips into the palm, the more physical that nature will be expressed. The higher heart line implies a more mental approach.

Caps are mine. This might show Fogen to have a less well-balanced emotional nature than average – and of course, this is reflected in his inability to deal with ADHD without meds and his intense overeating while waiting for his trial, and perhaps the accusations of molestation by his cousin.

His right hand has a more typical heart line. Of course, all this is speculative and complicated – as in astrology, you need to examine each part in relation to the whole chart to come up with conclusive answers.

Much appreciation to you for taking time to get info on this. God knows I am whipped today. If I didn’t already know my A,B,C’s, I would be too tired to learn them today. 🙂

          Thanks again.

      • Two sides to a story says:

Here’s what another site says about heart line position:

Quite a content and normal love life is represented by a heart line that begins under the index finger.

If your heart line begins right below the MIDDLE finger, then you have a selfish and materialistic view about love. (Fogen)

If it begins between the index and middle finger, you may have a slight disregard to the real meaning of love and the responsibilities it brings along. You tend to give your heart away easily. (MINE)

      • Two sides to a story says:

Also, on a third site –

It is rare for the heart line to end up under the middle finger. People with this line tend to be dominated by the need for love.

I would think people dominated for the need for love might also be fearful and anxious.

      • kindheart101 says:

        @Two sides to a story.

Now you have me looking at my palms, and they both look the same? So that means what? The creases of my upper line lead to my first finger, and the other two meet in the center of my palm. I am going to start checking out palm sites!

        • Xena says:

Now you have me looking at my palms, and they both look the same? So that means what?

The hand that is not dominate is your life path. Your dominate hand is how you are fulfilling your life. If they are the same, then you are living your destiny.

          • kindheart101 says:

Ughhhhhh, now I’m even more confused.

          • Xena says:

Let’s say your are right-handed. The lines in that hand are your destiny or rather, what God has for you to do. You left hand not being any different says that you are living your destiny. If the lines are different, you are suppose to take note and take corrective action.

That’s how I see much of astrology, palm reading, etc. It’s not so much as predicting the future, but telling us about ourselves, giving us opportunity to work on and change that which does not give life to ourselves and others.

For instance, as a teenager an astrologer told me that many of my planets are in Pisces. I didn’t understand what it meant. She said it means that I should stay away from things that are addictive. I applied that to drugs, drinking, gambling. It wasn’t until I was an adult, married, and my son was old enough to ask for a Magnavox play station that I learned it also applies to video games. LOL!

      • gblock says:

Xena, we always refused to get our kids play stations and other video game players. My son played them occasionally at other people’s houses. When he was in high school, he told us that we were right not to get them.

        • racerrodig says:

Let me say that even though the majority of games are war or shooting games, my son plays mostly racing games and we bought him RockSmith for Christmas and unlike Guitar Hero and those, it is truly an instructional game. You actually plug your real guitar into it. It helps you tune it and since it is not just “Dad” teaching, his learning curve has taken a line just about straight up and only a few degree’s of vertical.

We played “Combat” and all that in the early 60’s as we had 200 acres of woods behind our house and we all had camo dress, plastic yet realistic helmets and guns that looked as real as could be. I had a toy BAR that actually smoked when the trigger was pulled for more than a few seconds

All of this looked at as a no – no today.

Not one of my friends has been on the roof with an AK 47 and all of us are successful at what we do. My theory is that we (I was born in 55) were a product of the post WW II and Korean War era. That’s what we played beside sports, well then we got old enough and brave enough to talk to girls, but that’s another story altogether.

          • NONE of my kids (3 boys / 1 girl) were allowed any type of toy weapon….including not only guns but also knives and swords.

Yet I taught them all to shoot….A gun IS NOT a toy but a tool.

Lets go back to the 50’s and 60’s…..how many kids got wacked in the head with a hammer ah la the 3 Stooges?

          • racerrodig says:

None, and don’t be talking bad them Stooge’s either. Loved ’em and I never dragged a saw across anyone’s head either. Slapstick Physical comedy, which was popular at the time is all that was.

The debate about playing with toy guns could go on forever BUT there is research that shows those that played combat are not the type who resort to gun violence. The ones that do are loners and didn’t have enough friends to put a rifle squad together.

At times we would have 40 8 to 12 year old’s with our walkie talkies, toy and stick guns, toy mortars and 30 cal. machine guns…you name it, we had it. Not one of us ever got into trouble as teens and adults.

The parenting……that’s the key. Dad was a cop and I learned to shoot small caliber stuff about 11?? when I joined the Boy Scouts.

          • They were also taught outdoor skills…..Every camping trip….”Dad can I start the fire” coming from 4 mouths………Each one got 1 (ONE) match……

Reminds me a a year or so ago we were camping…..some others out there must have run out of firewood……10 at night you could see the flashlight on the side of the hill….and the ring of an axe hitting green wood…..nimrods

          • racerrodig says:

I’d say we’re on the same page then………..

“They were also taught outdoor skills…..Every camping trip….”Dad can I start the fire” coming from 4 mouths………Each one got 1 (ONE) match……”

          • My youngest son taught me a new one when he was up here this summer…..a cotton ball with Vaseline rubbed into it for tinder…..one strike from the flint & steel and it was lit 🙂

          • racerrodig says:

A few years ago one of my customers who is an avid outdoors man showed me about 50 ways to light a fire using all sorts of everyday items one has lying around. Several used a cotton ball or cotton bandage and alcohol. Lights fast with an accelerant, that’s for sure.

        • Xena says:

Xena, we always refused to get our kids play stations and other video game players. My son played them occasionally at other people’s houses. When he was in high school, he told us that we were right not to get them.

With their advancement, and now with Xbox, they have become a problem, replacing study time with play time.

Our decision to purchase Magnovox actually worked out good, because they were sued by Atari for stealing the games. All the games were removed from the stores and there was no support to fix the game station. Problem solved. 🙂

  17. Trained Observer says:

Exactly, Malisha. And as to “what IS Fogen?” A murderer … one who’s apparently so confident in his own twisted bravado that he’d do it again to any one of us, black, white or in-between, if given another chance to be free. He’s a menace.

  18. Malisha says:

Hopeful things about the Trayvon Martin murder case:

    1. There is one; SPD didn’t get away with sweeping this under the rug;

    2. If Fogen does either commit suicide or get convicted or go to prison pursuant to a plea deal, he will not be a great image for the folks who want to make a martyr out of him because in order to be a martyr in this culture, you have to cut a good image for the camera, and he does not;

    3. Although it is horrible that a million people had to jump into the movement to force Florida to do something about this obvious racist murder, once that happened, Florida began to do something about this obvious racist murder;

    4. Although the press did pander for quite a while to the SPD and the pro-Fogenites’ versions of reality, there were some press outlets that also gave air-time to the facts and realities of the case;

    5. The money: Although there was $300,000 donated to Fogen to try to help him avoid accountability for his crime, it is obvious that he does not have much serious support. If, for instance, a million Americans really cared about him and his side, they could have contributed a mere $5 apiece and he would be awash in funds right now. The fact is that his power base and his support is dwindling and didn’t start off too terribly robust either.

    6. On the other hand, those of us outraged by the way this went down are gaining in strength and commitment.

All in all, I think that’s pretty good. I thank each and every one of you on this blog for being part of the reality that we have created and that we can appreciate today. We deserve each other and Trayvon deserved us.

    • racerrodig says:

My connections stated he had $100,00 donated in 4 – $25,000 blocks by 3 entities. I believe $50,000.00 from the NRA. In reality (and math is an exact science) that’s 200,000 from individuals, and O’ Mara stated the average donation was $20.00. I am also told 300,000 is way overinflated.

O’ Mara also stated that many are repeat donators. So even if he got 200,000 from individuals, and only half are repeats that’s a mere $100,000.00 at $20.00. He does not have anywhere near the supporters they try to make us believe. This I know for a fact. That comes out to 5,000 sick individuals who gave him money.

Last year the Professor stated “Anyone who supports (Fogen) is a racist…anyone who donates money is a stupid racist”

      No argument here.

Done. I’ve reported the same person before.

    • kindheart101 says:

Just like Two sides to a story, I also reported this piece of trash a few days ago. There are 4 or 5 profiles directed toward the Professor. When one is deleted, they come right back on with another one. I went and reported this profile again also.

      • Xena says:

Whoever it is really has a hard-on for the professor.

        • kindheart101 says:

When you know you’re in the wrong, it must rack your last nerve to see someone speak, and enlighten others to the truth. They are in total melt down. I sit on the sidelines, read, and report, to have their profiles removed.

            @kindheart101. Hello dear sister.

When you know you’re in the wrong, it must rack your last nerve to see someone speak, and enlighten others to the truth.

That’s right. It must also bother them that they are not accomplishing anything other than demonstrating their sickness.

          • kindheart101 says:

            Amen Xena.

          • “Ah may not be a smart man”

            “RUN FOGEN RUN”

          • kindheart101 says:

Mountainman……..IF Fogen could run, I have no doubt he would! (LOL…More like waddle) Yet Gump he isn’t, and he is locked into a county that knows what he did. He can’t move, can’t hide, can’t get away. I love it………..it’s Karma at it’s best!

    • Thank you. I noted it yesterday in the comments, but will file, as I have done twice at HuffPo now, for the FrederickLeatherman abusive profile. Whoever this is, and I suspect it is the same person, is very, very mentally sick in the head, and has a bizarre obsession with Frederick Leatherman.

I wonder if these people ever say to themselves, like, “Wow. It’s amazing just how fucking crazy I actually am.”

      • jm says:

C-S says: I wonder if these people ever say to themselves, like, “Wow. It’s amazing just how fucking crazy I actually am.”

I have often wondered why anyone would take the time to do this sort of thing unless they have a vested interest in the outcome of the case, like GZ or his family have.

I also wonder if GZ can look at the Hannity interview and not say “Wow, It’s amazing just how fucking crazy I am, not to mention the people who believe my story and send me money”

      • looneydoone says:

        re; masoninblue commenting on huff-poop
these socks have highjacked long dormant AOL member “katrutledge” account. I went back and checked that profile. “katrutledge” made 4 comments long ago, and has been inactive. What got my attention is that “katrutledge’s fan base continues growing…even new socks (with -5 fans) appear on the profile as fans of “katrutledge”.
One common denominator is :LetJusticePrevail (who racerrodig has advised us is papi z) LetJusticePrevail is a fan of all the Leatherman imposters and dozens of hateful socks. It might be worth pursuing
Complaining to AOL/huff-poop is a waste of time. As fauxmccoy stated, it was a great site prior to it’s takeover by AOL…now it’s a cesspool. I comment there with the intention of provoking a kerfuffle with just a couple of people who’ve really pissed me off. I lob a few, and leave without responding to whatever reply is then addressed to me.

        • Thank you for this information. I really don’t like going over there, because the comments are often hateful, and I have no idea if they are even real or not, given what has happened with Fred.

    • My god! this is the shit i can’t stand anymore! where are the rules anymore? why can’t a huge company handle something so small in the scope of their power??

they have complete control over this! can’t they see how freakin wrong it is??? out of human decency???
i don’t have an account there, have never commented there and never would because of this kind of lack of integrity. i wish the world wasn’t so damn horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • fauxmccoy says:

@shannon – i have had an account there for about 6 years – it used to be a wonderful place of decent, like minded people and good conversation. the merge with aol was a disaster for us long timers for starters and the martin/fogen story has been particularly horrific in terms of abuse of what the site intended to be. i can barely stand to look at the trainwreck any longer, but sadly it’s also hard to leave because of connections made.

      • I’m gonna echo what fauxmacoy says. I don’t know if it was the aol merger or what, but HuffPo is getting to be completely out of control. Identity theft and stalking is never acceptable, and I think that someone who would go to such lengths is potentially dangerous.

      • YES, they are dangerous!

anyone who would take someone like Prof’s name – respected legal scholar, a death penalty expert held in such high regard and having a major presence in this case, i think they must of have done some homework in order to assure themselves safe from negative consequences!
They are doing this over and over with impunity!
So they had to have gotten advice from someone about identity theft or Internet law or something!! right?? ! how else do they assume their ass is covered!

They didn’t just wake up one day and by coincidence target Professor! that’s very scary to me!

    • fauxmccoy says:

Not being online that much right now Lady, I at least try to stop in and say hello to friends that fight for Trayvon in there daily. I met many of them when this injustice first hit the news. As you know, we all became very close by defending each other, fighting the untruths, and bonding in our stand for Justice for Trayvon. As Xena stated, very graciously, those that cause trouble, lie and look to only rile up the room, should be ignored. Most of the time I do. Sometimes I reply. And then there are times I just back up and say, bring it on! HP, (or at least those threads) I think, have turned very bias, and let many profiles get way out of control. Just two days ago, it took me over 10 hours, 15 posts, (all of which were deleted) and two times of reporting the profile to get the post removed. BUT IT WAS REMOVED! ( It was a Defense Law Firm, in New York, that writes articles for, and is a certified HP Blogger) ROFLLLLLLL And even more funny?????? When their post was removed………the law firm fanned me! (Cracking Up!) I keep declining it, and they just keep fanning me back. (Shrug, go figure?)

      • looneydoone says:

And LetJusticePrevail (who racerroddig advised us is papi z) is a “fan” of everyone of those socks

I spent hours checking profiles, and like you, keep a list. I always check on new members posting pro-fogen bs…there is one common denominator, LJP.

        • lady2soothe says:

I spent 2 days fending off the ad hominem remarks (against me) of LJP… He is one sick MF and I agree with Racerroddig, I think he’s Papa Z too.

          • racerrodig says:

Try this with him. When you get down with him, word things in such a way that you call him any of these names. “Beto” “Berto” “Pappi”
“PaPa” PaPa Z” “Mr. Magistrate” “Your Honor” and state to the effect that you son ain’t getting away with……

I also say “Thank God you’re not in the Judicial System anymore” and all sorts of ragging on him.

So my game plan is always …
            1) Rip his lies.
            2) Call him a Papa name
            3) Correct a falsehood and say “…the best part is YOU know that already”
            4) Call him another Dada name.
            5) Give him a sign off
            6) Refer to him as papa again.
            7) Tell him his kid (sometimes I use adopted kid) was the only thug involved in this crime.

          • kindheart101 says:

            Disgusting Lady.

I was there a few hours ago, but won’t go in today. I made a promise to myself I would not read any of their trash on Trayvon’s day. Most of the ones I saw were new profiles, and every bit as mean as the next.

I even got upset in here tonight with someone that was posting irrationally to Racer, and then to other posters as well. I saw it almost as baiting, and it upset me enough to send a post to them asking: “Is this game open to everyone?” I was going to ask them what they were doing? Did they want to pick on me too? But they didn’t reply to my post, and I am too new, and hadn’t seen this person before, so I didn’t push it.

In the name of Trayvon, I hope all goes well in court today. My we all feel Trayvon’s presence, and Sybrina and Tracy find peace in his memories, and knowing we all stand behind them.

I’m calling it a night so I am up for court in a few hours. Take Care my friend.

            Happy Birthday Trayvon.

Kindheart I’m sitting here with tears running down my face. I’ve heard and seen MANY bad things in my time but the pure evil these people are capable of is, I can’t even think of a word to describe…. They do not even rate as human beings.

Remember I told you awhile back my youngest son’s birthday is Feb. 5th also and he was robbed and the guy shot him twice. I am so thankful God spared me (all of us) from having to go through what the Martins/Fulton’s are having to endure.

            Happy Birthday Trayvon and AJ

          • kindheart101 says:

YES! Happy Birthday to (((AJ))) too!

I understand how you feel Lady, as my son was brutally attacked 13 years ago.

We never forget, just like we will never forget Trayvon!

            Good night. 🙂

I will tell AJ you send birthday wishes!

And come June. 35 to LIFE!

I fail to see, or be able to think of, a way to appear so extremely stupid, as to waste 300k in a few short months, then come back and ask strangers to send even more money, because you can’t afford experts.

MOM has got to get out of this toxic case, it’s got to be destroying his practice. Or, at least it will if he goes much further and captures headlines with his face on the loss. Because the news stories will surely read that, after wasting 300k on bail and debt repayments, the defense was left without enough money to work with, even as MOM’s office underwent a 40k renovation. This kind of whining will make everyone sick.

          • racerrodig says:

They can post whatever they want. What happened here with sdunn5 is what eventually happens to all of them.

They sure got their asses handed to them in court today. The best was Nelson saying “…for the 3rd time…” NO !

      • well those could be those 6 creepy interns omar has hired to scour the web and report info back to him! at least i hope it’s them!!

        • lady2soothe says:

Fortunately we have a lot of regulars who won’t give up. Sometimes it’s overwhelming to read the back and forth, same arguments with the same GZ Whoreshippers, but we cling to the justice and refuse to let them run us off.

      • Xena says:

@lady2soothe. One thing I’ve noticed is that whenever the Zidiots find where pro-justice for Trayvon folks are posting, they appear there to commit verbal vandalism.

They stick to comment boards such as on Yahoo and HP because they are barely moderated and they can also get away with having multiple accounts.

        • lady2soothe says:

Appears there are 3-5 posters with multiple accounts. Some only post once and their comments are so vulgar their accounts are immediately removed. Unfortunately what they have written has been seen.

          • Xena says:

@lady2soothe. No way am I trying to discourage those posting to HuffPost and other comment boards to stop, but I would like to share something. Many moons ago when news sources first opened articles up for comments, people were excited to share their opinions. Mostly everyone (and I do mean everyone) has received an unexpected, mean-spirited response. People stopped commenting and because of vulgar, filthy, personal attacks on others, many people also stopped reading comments after they read the articles.

I am not speaking about blogs, but comments on newspaper articles and sources such as HuffPost and Yahoo news. That’s one reason why, as news becomes outdated, we don’t see new people coming on board commenting. You can almost guarantee that Zidiots have multiple accounts because they hate the appearance of not being agreed with, or being one of two still camping out on comment boards.

Because Zidiots submitted comments to my blog, their IP address is included. I know for a fact that one person sent comments under 5 different handles with fake email addresses, and those handles are common to see on the treeslum. Some months ago as I was researching, I put on my hip boots and went over to the treeslum, and saw comments posted by a handle, with responses back-patting them from another handle, when both of those handles were the same as comments submitted to my blog with the same IP address.

Now, either that is one and the same person, or someone is using their handles (impersonating) to submit filthy comments to other blogs.

I too will close my account when I find another site that provides me with a wide range of news articles, on numerous topics I have an interest in. As it is now, I have to do a lot of searching through various websites to find what I’m looking for.

    • Done. I just created an account in order to report. This is getting outrageous.

          • Xena says:

@Professor. I know that those of us here are motivated and committed to seeing justice for Trayvon. However, when sites such as HuffPost allow abuse and violations, serious thought should be given to boycotting them, even on a temporary basis. If only Zidiots are there for 2 wks the “hits” and “views” will reduce so that HP’s advertisers are not so impressed.

          • fauxmccoy says:

i am all for it but fear we lack the manpower to make an impact. i avoid the trayvon pages for commenting, only to report abusive profiles. if there were any way to make the place what it once was, i would love it, but there is no going back.

    • Xena…..There are two trolls using the Professor’s photo/avitar that he uses on this site. “masoninblue” and “EvilLeatherman”. The latter troll has put a black moustache on the Professor’s photo. What’s interesting is the list of their friends/fans. I believe that one of them, “LetJusticePrevail”, also posts on the outhouse site. About the time that “newbee100” stopped commenting (Dec. 2012) “masoninblue” started. “EvilLeatherman” started up in January. Isn’t there a law that at least prevents them from using the Professor’s photo and name? This is an outrage!!!
There was also another site like the “Still self defense, still not guilty” site called “Emerald harlequin”. They stopped posting comments a little while back but, I somehow feel that the two sites were by the same people…..and both attacking the Professor relentlessly.

      • Xena says:

@grey winter sky. First, I’m going to apologize for any spelling and/or grammatical errors because I’m tired.

The Professor has a gravatar. The impersonator, as well as HuffPost, are in violation of gravatar’s TOS, which state in pertinent part about third-party websites that gravatars cannot be copied, “stored or modified,” and they “cannot distribute, display, perform or use or otherwise exercise or exploit any User Submission or other user information …”

HP is allowing that impersonator to exploit the professor’s gravatar. I suggest that each time the impersonator’s profile is reported, that HP is reminded that the impersonator is exploiting a gravatar in violation of Gravatar’s TOS and include the link:

      • Xena….Thank you for clarifying that, and the link. I am, quite obviously, computer challenged both in knowing the functions and the vocabulary of the beast. I’ve been bumbling along, learning by experience. My computer is old and slow but quite forgiving of all the mistakes I make. I used to be content with being a luddite until I discovered (my son going to) Google (it was the reason I really became interested in the computer…kind of like a modern day “Magic-8-Ball”). I can’t download videos or pages with a lot of information (when this site hits about 300 comments, it won’t load) but I love searching for information.
I still feel that the Leatherman impersonators are the Zim family members or their close pals. Let Justice Prevail is a fan and friend of all of them, and posts at the outhouse. They are totally disgusting.

        • Xena says:

@grey winter sky. Welcome to the wonderful world of abusers, liars, agitators and verbal vandals more commonly known as Zidiots. LOL! The professor’s impersonator is an envious agitator. They aren’t fooling anyone, neither are they accomplishing anything beneficial for GZ.

If GZ and his family had an ounce of sense, they would be embarrassed for what their purported supporters post on the internet. The most silly thing about is, comments on news articles such as HP and Yahoo, scroll down. When the article loses interest and/or becomes old, no one reads it neither the comments.

          • kindheart101 says:

Huff? I am again Flagging this comment! I understand this is a Huffpost Blogger, but this is pure bias! This is an opinion given by a criminal defense team, with a link to their professional defense site. This is nothing more than pure advertisement, and I ask again that it be removed in respect to your OWN STANDARDS and GUIDELINES!

And for 4 hours I fought this post as being bias, and not conforming to any of their rules, regulations or Guidelines. I said it was specifically stated that no one could post a web site of a business, much less for advertisement, or profit. 5 other people fought with me. ALL of my posts were deleted, and the Huff Post Bloggers Post is still there.

Why would I let garbage agitate me ??

It doesn’t agitate me because I know their playbook. The longer they are ignored, the more they dig ditches for themselves.

          • racerrodig says:

What i have found pisses them off the most is a strike of about 20 posts centered on the worst one of the day, with about 12 – 15 directed at that one, and a few at the others, let them stew and ignore them for 4 or 5 days. That drives them nuts.

      • Malisha says:

GWS, they’re a very small pack of very disturbed people. The fact that they are so upset about what Professor writes and the comments he elicits is related to the presumption that the prosecution team must be checking in over here; after all, the assistance of an experienced criminal defense lawyer with “no dog in the race” is invaluable. This makes the Outhousers and the HP profogenites very upset, as well they should be, now that you think about it. Their guys O’Mara and West only have help from bozos like THEM, and the occasional reworked indignant rant from Jeralyn, based only on her having totally swallowed the counterintuitive (and counterevidentiary) story that Trayvon Martin savagely attacked Fogen for no reason; BDLR and Corey have help from Leatherman. So it goes, generally, like this:

Outhousers plus Jeralyn and Dersh: It was not fair to charge Fogen with a crime, boo hoo.

Corey and BDLR and Judge Nelson: It happened; get over it.

Outhousers plus Jeralyn and Dersh: But Trayvon Martin viciously and savagely attacked Fogen, so it was not fair to charge Fogen with a crime, boo hoo.

Autopsy and physical evidence and forensics: NOT.

Leatherman: Oh and see here: we caught Fogen in another lie.
Oh and see here again? We caught Fogen in yet another lie.
Oh and see here and here? Yet another lie.
Oh and see here and here? Another screamer! [video]

        Outhousers: Trayvon was a thug.
Jeralyn: Trayvon’s parents are not gonna like it when we show that Trayvon was a thug.
O’Mara: I’m not trying to demonize Trayvon Martin but he was a thug. And then he “passed.”

Leatherman and Serino: Not a thug.

It just isn’t fair. Leatherman keeps coming up with facts that can be used against Fogen. That’s just not fair.

        • racerrodig says:

I Love Ya !! But lets be accurate here…….

“O’Mara: I’m not trying to demonize Trayvon Martin but he was a thug. And then he “passed.”

“…he got himself shot…” That’s the latest O’ Mara line. (The rat bastard)

I could be wrong here but it seems that MOM has gone beyond the limits of what is required of a defense attorney, in particular in press conferences and interviews. Hate to say this but I have an extreme dislike of him and can’t even stand to look at him during interviews. He reminds me of an evil scarecrow.

I followed Casey Anthony case and now Jodi Arias and don’t recall their defense attorneys doing interviews. I didn’t like Jose Baez for the opening statement in court regarding George Anthony, but I don’t remember him maligning George Anthony at press conferences and interviews. Same thing with Arias defense team. I can’t recall seeing them giving press conferences and interviews to malign the victim.

What drives O’Mara to take every opportunity to malign Trayvon Martin. Is it all about money and fame? Surely he can’t believe GZ after reviewing facts and evidence (and the Hannity interview).

          • racerrodig says:

“I could be wrong here but it seems that MOM has gone beyond the limits of what is required of a defense attorney, in particular in press conferences and…….”

            Trust me….You ain’t wrong !!! Not even close !!

He’s a pig, plain & simple. I stated before that since he is primarily a divorce attorney where smear tactics are the order of the day, that’s all he knows and that’s all he’ll do.

For a fact, and we discussed this last year, it is never a good idea to put a murder victim on trial. It’s worse to put a minor murder victim on trial. Worse than that it’s really bad to put a minor murder victim on trial then claim that the one yelling for help and is caught on 911 calls is the defendants. Top off that with a murder by gun and the minor murder victim is unarmed.

Moron O’ Mara is a rat bastard that wouldn’t know what is morally correct, decent and civilized if it bit him on the ass. And that goes for all of the Zidiot Nation……did I forget anything ??

        • racerrodig says:

I’m “done” also other than about every 5 days or so I go on and rip up the completely moronic Zidiots. Lately I find a real preposterous Zid and comments and just get down.

Thursday evening one of them called the victim “Tyronne” and had every fact wrong. I asked “Who is Tryonne” (his spelling) tagged onto every comment he made. Ripped the lies to shreds then I disappear for awhile. They are so collectively stupid, it’s child’s play. The hard part is reading the same old lies and filth, and that’s why they deserve a real good ripping.

          • Well, they do deserve it. I wonder how many of these people are sock puppets, talking to themselves. How do these people function when they are so utterly disconnected from reality?

          • racerrodig says:

I’ve said this a thousand time “Who would actually hire you???” They certainly are stuck in the 19th Century and have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to living in a civilized society.

So I drop back look for the open Zidiot and fire away. The ball usually knocks them unconscious !!

          • LOL, I’ll bet it does. I’ll bet it does.

Good Afternoon !! Speaking of balls, I have a Super Bowl Quandary. I’ve been a 9er’s fan since the 72 NFC Championship Game in the John Brodie days. Then Montana et al.

Joe Flacco went to the same High School and played football where I did, the same field. He may have had my old football locker room locker for all I know !! (Now that’s a connection to a celebrity if there ever was one!!)

Who do I root for ??? The local hero or the one I’ve pulled for for 41 years ??

          • “Who do I root for ??? The local hero or the one I’ve pulled for for 41 years ??”

So. The Ravens Evermore, or the Niners. I have no idea. I’m rooting Niners, because I grew up on the Left Coast, so my heart will always be there, but I don’t know.

Let us know when you figure it out!

          • racerrodig says:

We live in NJ about 20 miles from Philly buy just can’t become Eagles fans because of the way they were in the 60’s (God Awful) and never really tried to win big time. The current owner is so arrogant I can’t stand it. I’ve been a Raiders fan since 65 and my NFC teams have been the 49er’s and Redskins.

But the thought that Joe Flacco just might have been assigned my old football locker……I can dream.

Maybe they can play to a tie for about 20 quarters !! Then the refs will introduce a new rule that the game is going to be decided by a coin toss, may the old “..odd or even…” finger throw. Anyway, this is going to be an enjoyable game, maybe a good as when the Raiders smoked the Eagles in New Orleans back in ’81 !!

          • I read here recently, something about it doesn’t matter if the team wins or loses, it’s about the nail-biter aspect of the game.

Still. Too bad Atlanta didn’t get panhandled by the Seahawks during the playoffs. Sigh, well, maybe next year.

          • racerrodig says:

As a football fan, and having played, a good back & forth game is always more fun than a blowout whether watching or playing.

The Atlanta Seattle game was a collapse that left me scratching my head.

Trayvon deserves justice and his family needs some bit of peace, if that’s possible. I have two sons and can’t, nor do I want, to even imagine the suffering Trayvon’s parents are experiencing.

        • racerrodig says:

Well at halftime it’s looking like that Ravens choice is looking good.

          • sdunn5 says:

          • racerrodig says:

This is the 2nd Ravens Super Bowl win. They won the 1st after the 2000 season, Super Bowl XXXV

          • sdunn5 says:

Ah you do the math…I like you can you help kelly payne with he/her mental condition and tell her/him not to experiment with kids please.

          • racerrodig says:

No problem. But it is an experiment and they were just trying to get it right.

          • sdunn5 says:

really racer imagine… come my neighbor and slam my head into my pillow. If these statements are not bizarre ….? It indicates something akin to people that cut themselves to feel better…I offered to help did I not… just want to participate in the punching the face experiment….just trying to help.

          • racerrodig says:

I’ll just say that we did numerous attempts to duplicate what Fogen says he did. Anyone who tried that and has results is at least trying.

For the record, it has been stated, and it is unanimous here and on other sites, it is impossible to do.

          • sdunn5 says:

Ok thanks for the memories I get who you are.

          • racerrodig says:

Really, why and what does that matter ??

          • sdunn5 says:

I think you know the answer

          • racerrodig says:

No, or I wouldn’t have asked. Obviously you are not who you say you are. Looking like someone else here was right about you Hmmm?

          • sdunn5 says:

I am not who I say I am…oh (cough) like racerrodig is ….oh…never mind.

          • racerrodig says:

Climb back in the Treehouse. I’m exactly who I say I am or else I would not be a threat to you.

          • sdunn5 says:

A threat to me get real you are NO THREAT to me.

          • racerrodig says:

Really, I could not care less. Don’t flatter yourself.

          • sdunn5 says:

flatter myself you give yourself away every time yea?

          • racerrodig says:

Right, I gave myselfd away as a foundiong member of Team Trayvon…..are you demented or what!

          • sdunn5 says:

Team Trayvon… hmmm self appointment is after all your specialty.

          • racerrodig says:

Reseach it ……that prose is so familiar, bnut with so many sock puppet names to recall, wow……that you Dino??

          • sdunn5 says:

wtf is a sock puppet never mind who cares. stop writing to me ok just stop.

          • racerrodig says:

            It’s the o ther vway around….

          • Xena says:

@sdunn5. According to your new blog, you too are a member of Team Trayvon. Please tell me if I’m mistaken.

          • Xena says:

@racerrodig. There are certain methods and manners used in effort to get people to tell the truth about themselves in defense of lies, giving certain folks opportunity to attempt illegal doxing.

Ignore anything that sounds like a personal attack. Personally, I’m in the mood to laugh at some more songs for GZ.

          • racerrodig says:

Pick a song and I’ll do a rewrite. For the record however, this is the last place I thought any of the Zidiots could go undetected this long. I’m sure you see where this has gone. The prose from her has reverted to one very familiar clown on HP.

          • Xena says:

Pick a song and I’ll do a rewrite.

The first that comes to mind is All Along the Watchtower. 🙂

For the record however, this is the last place I thought any of the Zidiots could go undetected this long.

That is why I recommended not responding to personal attacks. If there is a bad faith agenda, don’t feed it giving it more opportunity.

          • racerrodig says:

Funny, I did a rewrite awhile ago of “Hey Joe” as “Hey Zim”
“All along the watch tower is a challenge. Let me get through these posts and I’ll get on it within the hour.

          • Xena says:

Hey hey hey hey!!! Looking forward to it.

          • racerrodig says:

Delivered a few minutes ago. Not my best, but I was a bit rushed.

          • racerrodig says:

Well all along the watch tower
Said Big Bubba to the thief
            There’s too much confusion
            I don’t feel no relief
            FogenPhoole, he blew my mind
            I don’t dig his thing
He’ll never level on the line, he offered ill words

Well all along the watch tower
Armed guards, they kept a view
While all the people came and went
            Said he staked them too

            No reason to get excited
            Big Bubba kindly spoke
There are many here among us
Who know that Fogen’s just a joke
But you and I we’ve been through that
            And it’s not our fate
So let him keep talking falsely now
            The hour is getting late.

Well all along the watch tower
Big guards, they kept a view
While all the women came and went
            Said he abused them too

Well outside in the cold distance
A ticked off Taaffe did growl
            Two witnesses were approaching
And the wind began to howl
Prosecutors there, they drink the wine
            Cause nobody offered him herb

Well all along the watch tower
Mean guards, they kept a view
And all the children came and went
            Feeling safe now to

Xena, here’s a quicky on this. I’m sure I can refine it some.

          • Xena says:

@racerrodig. You are amazing! Here’s an instrumental version from the movie “Ali.” I’m going back to read your lyrics as I listen to it. 🙂

          • racerrodig says:

I’ll gladly wait. This rewrite I blasted through and I know I can do better. The structure is a bit difficult with the material, but I;’ll get it right.

          • Xena says:

@racerrodig. What you already wrote sounds fine to me. 🙂

          • racerrodig says:

If you say so, You know I love & trust ya….

          • Xena says:

            Same back at ya brother.

          • ‘”No reason to get excited”, the thief he kindly spoke
“There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke
But you and I, we’ve been through that, and this is not our fate
So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late’

          • racerrodig says:

It comes up 404 Not Found….

          • racerrodig says:

And if you play guitar it’s Am G F G Am and play the chord progression till ya run out of words!! It’s a fun song to play.

          • Xena says:

            @Pat. ALRIGHT!!!!

          • Lonnie Starr says:

DENIED, DENIED, DENIED GZ’s plea for continuance denied!

The Judge stated that she saw nothing “insurmountable” enough that the defense required more time to surmount.

GZ will face his own conflicting testimony in June as scheduled. The only insurmountable obstacle GZ faces is; finding a jury to acquit.

          • Xena says:

It is God’s plan that GZ is found guilty and serves life in prison without parole. GZ doesn’t have enough sense to regret killing Trayvon, and blamed it on God. That was a huge mistake.

          • Double secret life without parole…..

Then all the fogenites can donate to his canteen fund.

In the hannity interview…..his lack of remorse & “gods plan” REALLY T’d me off.

            “Experts……we don’t need no stinking experts…..A hahahahahaha”

          • Lonnie Starr says:

Professor says that MOM & West have found a way out the door, leaving GZ behind. That will be devastating to GZ, no money, now no familiar lawyers and probably no friendliness. His newly appointed lawyer is going to take very little input from GZ. If GZ pushes it, he’ll probably hear about how foolishly he handled the 300k he once had his hands on. This thing is like a tidal wave collapsing on him, a little at first, then more and more, until finally the wave engulfs him and sweeps him away.

His prospects are dimming really fast (at least in his mind where they were so bright), soon the spotlights will go out and he’ll be alone in the dark. If there was any conspiracy, all we have to do now is wait, as the cold grip of reality squeezes him tightly, if he knows anything at all he’ll begin to sing.

          • racerrodig says:

Or a weight loss program he can afford….just sayin’

          • Lonnie Starr says:

            Right, make that “Obstacles” plural.

          • racerrodig says:

            It sure does.

      • lady2soothe says:

racerrodig…. As I scrolled down the page reading the posts between you and sdunn5 I couldn’t help but feel it’s Dino Domingo, and then there was your comment.

I know he’s the one who spread financial and other personal info. everywhere.

        • racerrodig says:

You’ll notice there was no denial at all and I kept at him and he just kept taking the bait. I believe it was Dino. I wonder if he was banned on HP. It does not matter in all reality, a Zidiot is a Zidiot is a Zidiot. Interchangeable Racists.

          • lady2soothe says:

No, Dino hasn’t been banned… Just came from there and a new sock going by HisHomeboyKit is REALLY throwing nasty comments…. However, all anyone replies to him is DENIED and he’s getting really desparate with his fabrications, lies, and ad hominem comments.

            Actually it’s really quite funny.

          • racerrodig says:

Maybe I’ll saunter on over tonight and stage a pre-emptive strike.

          • lady2soothe says:

lol…. Then I’ll probably see you there…. Maybe you remember I’m not a big commenter, more of F&F person.

          • racerrodig says:

OK. I’m waiting for a last minute customer to pick up her SUV, dinner, a quick errand and, then it’s Game On !!

  20. Malisha says:

If, in all of Fogen’s published words about what happened, about the case, about his not being racist, about his mentoring kids, about his wife, about his religion, blah blah blah, if there had been one word that i really believed showed his realization that he had deprived Trayvon Martin of 2/27/2012, of 2/28/2012 — one word of real sorrow, shared sorrow, real regret, real apology, I would feel much differently, I am absolutely sure.

Recently I watched a DVD showing a confession given by a killer in a midwestern state. The killer was giving his confession without showing much emotion, although he did say several times that he was “really fucked” and that he was able to see, after the fact, that he perhaps should not have done it. (He shot three people down in cold blood because he believed ridiculous negative things about them, which the cops pointed out were not likely to have been true.) Then he asked what was going to happen to him. One of the cops asked him what he thought SHOULD happen to him. He said,

“Capital punishment. They should kill me. I mean, I took their lives, they should take my life. I guess.”

A terrible emptiness descended on me. This custodial interview was done all wrong and obviously the guy should have had a lawyer (he did ask for one but did not insist). But that was beside the point for what I’m thinking about watching that DVD now. I watched it KNOWING that the killer was so deranged that he did not actually “GET” what it was to kill someone. But he was still able to do a certain weird “fairness mathematics” in his mind. He was still able to think, “I did a certain thing; a certain thing should be done to me,” although neither the killing nor the idea of capital punishment came through to him.

And in all the footage of Fogen that I have watched, I have never seen him either realize that Trayvon Martin’s death had meaning (the video re-enactment is nauseating because of that; he shrugs and smirks about his “one shot”) or that his continued life must be seen in the context of his having killed.

Even if I had killed in self-defense, I would have to view my life as something completely changed, something astonishingly thrown into a different universe, something that had assumed completely alien proportions, by that act.

    OMG, what IS Fogen?

    • Rachael says:

I agree. I know someone who killed or be killed. Of course he is glad he is alive, but here even 4 years later, he cries when he talks about it and sometimes has trouble sleeping at night. He falls apart every year near the anniversary. I don’t care how “justified” one would be, the taking of a life is something that makes even police officers fall apart over. His reaction at the time and after is/was not normal. No human being can take the life of another’s and act like it was/is no big deal.

    • fauxmccoy says:

      a monster walking amongst us

    • Two sides to a story says:

Absolutely, Malisha. I would have far more compassion for Fogen if he expressed deep sorrow that he had killed Trayvon. He can’t even fake it. The Hannity interview is deeply shocking and really does show his depravity.

      • Rachael says:

      • roderick2012 says:

“I would have far more compassion for Fogen if he expressed deep sorrow that he had killed Trayvon.”

Remember when the first media push came from Team George he was sitting in the corner of a dark room crying because he regretted shooting Trayvon.

Of course Rent-A-Black Friend Joe Oliver torpedoed that talking point when he went all over the airwaves and exclaimed that George thought things’ would just blow over’.

Ah yes another one of George’s friends sabotaging his defense.

    • TommysMom says:

ITA I think perhaps their is very little respect for life left in this world today. People like the Zimmerman’s,the Anthony’s,OJ Simpson and many others before and probably many more to come, have not learned respect for themselves, and don’t respect others. I pray daily and ask God for mercy for a world that has gone so far from love, respect and fear of Him. I realize respect must be earned but first one must be taught,at an early age, what is acceptable and what is not. They must be held accountable for their acts. Those, like myself of a certain age, learned this and so we taught our child. Love and respect for parents, teachers, those in athourity, and our elders.
For some reason this is not happening in many, many homes today. In his book,The Greatest Generation,Tom Brokaw said, this generation was united not only by a common purpose, but also by common values–duty, honor, economy, courage, service, love of family and country, and, above all, responsibility for oneself. In this book, you will meet people whose everyday lives reveal how a generation persevered through war, and were trained by it, and then went on to create interesting and useful lives and the America we have today. That won’t ever be written about this generation.
We have advanced greatly in many areas, but we have lost much more than we have gained.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all. For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil.
      Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 NKJV

      • @ Tommy’s Mom

“I realize respect must be earned”

I give & treat everyone respect….it is their choice by word or deed whether or not they keep that respect.

        BTW….Respect & trust are 2 different concepts.

      • I appreciate and agree with most of your thoughts, except one.

My relationship with my Creator, the God of my understanding, is based on love, not fear.

      • looneydoone says:

I too treat others with dignity
Respect is a given UNTIL/UNLESS that respect is betrayed. Once that trust is broken, there’s no way back with me, that mistrust will stay in place. I continue to speak with those who’ve betrayed me, but it’s at an arm’s distance.
My dad taught me that a person’s only as good as their word…are they honest and worthy of respect that comes from them having a firm moral compass ? Are they forthright and honest ? If the answer is no, they earn my contempt

      • looneydoone……I agree with you 100%.

    • Malisha….What is fogen? A narcissistic SOCIOPATH!!!!!

    • abbyj says:

Fogen is a psychopath, Malisha. He has no regret, no conscience, no remorse. He’s not hardwired to feel anything for others, only for himself.

      • DruDo says:

abbyj…Hello! NIce to see you. GZ has no conscience, no sense of regret. I wouldn’t even want to be in the same room with him.

      • DruDo says:

Abby, btw, I had to take a break from the “other” site, so came here for a breath of fresh air. I don’t comment a lot there anymore because I get sick of the nastiness. In fact, I sometimes have to simply stay away for awhile, but do miss the people who care about Trayvon, so I return. Glad to see you, racer, faux & others here, too.

    • racerrodig says:

In his “Reenactment”, which I refer to as a “Rehearsal” since none of that actually happened, his shoulder shrug is so nauseating I have a very hard time watching it.

He shrugs his shoulders in a sick “…hell dude….what’s a guy gonna do…” manner.

Even have a little shack I built on a tributary to the Kern River in the Golden Trout wilderness….haven’t been there in over a decade.

        • fauxmccoy says:

awwww – some of my earliest memories are fishing with my daddy at dawn along the kern river. he tried to get out of the tent without me, but i came running behind, pulling overalls over my jammies. he was kind enough to fix me a hot cocoa before we headed out.

Good article, Professor. LOL, your title reminded me of one I did a while back.

    • Kelly Payne says:

That proves he must have seen trayvon at the 7-11 or somewhere the light was good enough he could see the actual color of his hoodie

      • Mike says:

Wow it’s funny how that small detail gives his position away.i think he first spotted Martin at the mailboxes that’s where the brightest lights where.

      • boyd says:

The Fogen went over my head here. He was 307/322 in his HS school class. On this he blew me away, trying to figure out where TM and Fogen were when he said “He’s running”. I think GZ had walked past the T at 7:12:11, And why did he walk to get an address? When he walked the reenactment, he never walked past the ‘T”, Yet he told Serino he was at the other end of the walkway. .

        • 307 out 0f 322?……..That means there are 15 people more stupid than the foge from that class………

      • Trained Observer says:

You mean Fogen ranked — if you can call it that — 307 out of /322 graduating in his high school class? Where was that? Virginia? Apart from failing to cut it at Seminole Community College, did he ever enroll or attempt to enroll anywhere else as a basement level high school grad? (Still can’t get over the absurdity of him “mentoring” children, or anyone in authority thinking him suitable to mentor.)

    • Rachael says:

I can hardly stand to watch that 7-11 video anymore. Trayvon just making a purchase, not knowing it is his last few moments left on this earth. I can’t stand it. It hurts even worse than the screams. I mean here he is, nonchalant, going about his life, not knowing it is about to end.

      Oh dear God!

      • Tzar says:

        it’s s eerie

        • kindheart101 says:

I was only able to watch the video one time. I was struck with such sorrow at looking at the last few moments of his life. Just like I only listened to his screams while he was begging for his life one time, and never again. When Blushedbrown and I were talking about his remarks about “mentoring the black children”, I said I had taped the Hannity interview, and I would check it out. I couldn’t do it. I can’t look at him. I won’t watch the proceedings on the 5th, because just seeing him sit there would turn my stomach. I will come here to find out what is happening.

          • fauxmccoy says:

like you (imagine that) i have seen the 7-11 tape once and heard the screams on 911 just once. the mother in me can bear no more. i know what i heard and saw the first and only time, horror.

i am reminded of something a commentator on cnn said shortly after 9/11 and the collapse of the towers, that to replay that video or to watch it more than once was not OK. that what you are watching is literally the death of thousands and that his hebrew learning had taught him that the only polite thing to do was to look away. i am not jewish, but this made sense to me.

i will neither watch nor listen to those things again, i believe it is the best i can do to respect the human dignity of Trayvon Benjamin Martin.

          • kindheart101 says:

Yes my friend, imagine that, we agree again.

When I heard Trayvon’s screams, I actually became ill, and couldn’t get them out of my mind. I taped the Hannity interview, and only listened to bits of it, because the sight of him made me sick. I can’t listen to, or look at him. Everything about him repulses me.

      • Rachael….. I can remember every incident when my abuser was screaming at me with a face filled with rage……………… Every time I think of Trayvon’s last moments having to look at mofofogen’s rage filled face screaming at him… I want to cry… because I can’t even imagine the terror he went through as he watched that rage filled monster pulled out his gun………..

    • Trained Observer says:

If I’d been a shopper in the store and asked, I would have said “charcoal grey” … but outside in the dark, “black” seems reaasonable.

      Sweatpants or jeans from Fogen????

      Thanks for posting.

  23. Trained Observer says:

    My Expectation & Outcome Forecast:

    # 1 We may at times be cheered at the hearing on Trayvon’s birthday, yet things could get worse if a continuance is granted and Trayvon’s parents are forced to wait even longer for justice. (For now, based motion weakness from MOM and strength from BDLR, I’m betting on Judge Nelson to hold the line for June 10.)

    # 2 GPS phone forensics may put Fogen’s assorted tangled yarns through a shredder for good, and if so that’s dandy. But case basics remain: Trayvon left his dad’s place to buy candy and never made it home because Fogen (with a history of aggression and a criminal record) spotted, stalked, confronted and shot the kid dead. The trigger-pulling, by the defendant’s own admission, occurred after Fogen took care not to shoot himself in the hand. Does that spell — or smell of — premeditation to anyone but me? Who shoots any living target in the chest into/or near heart and/or lungs with any expectation other than almost instant death? (For now, I’m betting the ultimate jury verdict will hang mostly on the defendant’s own words.)

    # 3 Besides putting Fogen behind bars, preferably for life, justice for Trayvon also hinges on digging up and exposing the slimy truths about actions (or notable lack) of the Sanford Police Department, State Attorney Norm Wolfinger, pals of Fogen, and assorted relationships among key players. (For now, based on what’s already surfaced, I’m betting more heads will roll at the cop shop when the new chief gets planted … that Norm Wolfinger wraps up his political career as a laughing-stock jackass or worse … and that at least a couple of Fogen’s chums get charged with obstruction of justice.)

#4 MOM will somehow wiggle out of his once-coveted, chest-thumping role as pro bono lead defender for this killer, or will at least try … possibly settling for a fall-back position as a paid lowly public defender. (For now, I’m betting MOM wishes he’d pursued med school, or even a degree in animal husbandry instead of law school.

#5 With an ongoing case-related federal investigation, we may yet be cheered by some spicy revelations. (For now, I’m betting the effort to smear Trayvon Martin as a disposable thug who deserved to die for mere strolling while black will long be remembered as a Florida racially-inspired injustice right up there with Pitts & Lee in Port St. Joe.)

TrainedObserver, Thank you for your post. Your observations and forecasts are a pleasure to read. All five are inspiring.

My heart lurched at the painful truth of your statement of the defense’s “effort to smear Trayvon Martin as a disposable thug who deserved to die . . . ”

That’s all he has ever been to them: disposable. Even as Trayvon’s family grieves and suffers, the fogen’s defense team continues to vilify and smear the life of this child–and the lives of his family members.

this may sound bizarre, but as one who became disabled at 40 from my second bout with cancer while trying to raise two little girls – this ancient wisdom is embedded within. it is why i try to watch every sunrise because i know i’m alive, that i’ve been given yet another day, to walk this planet, tell those close to me that i love them and do my best to make it a better place, even when i am unable to leave my home.

We have had this conversation many times my friend, (As our lives seem to have mirrored each other) I always love, and look forward to every day. When I wake up in the morning, I take my cup of coffee out back, no matter what the weather is, and sit wrapped in a blanket watching the birth of a new day. If I wake up in the middle of night, I draw my cats close, turn on the small light on my night stand, and write notes in my journal about loving and powerful moments I never want to forget. I don’t know what day I am destined to pass, but until then, just like you, I give thanks for every day I have been given.

(You are in my journal. 🙂 April, 2012, when we first met on HP. I described you as a loving, dedicated force, that stood firm for truth and justice regarding Trayvon.)

You have a heart of Gold! Thank you for being you…….the world IS a better place because of it.

may the goddess bless you, kindheart and may your days be filled with small joys, as are mine. i would prefer to wake up early to see that sunrise, but more often than not, i am tortured with nightmares that are unbearable (ptsd, for real). i sit on my patio, throughout the night, with a quilt my granny in georgia made long before i was born and a cat prowling about, keeping the night critters away from me. when i know for sure that the sun has risen, i can finally sleep.

        • kindheart101 says:

I sit up many nights also, (but nightly, because of PTSD is a burden few know, I’m sure.) Yet, you are kind, and strong, and show your strength to everyone daily. Mine is because of pain, and being very bullheaded as not to take all the medications I am prescribed. I don’t like the way they make me feel, and lessen my thought process. The doctors just seem to find it too easy to say: “take these for pain, take these also, they’re muscle relaxers ……etc.” I had 3 children natural childbirth, I’ve had 3 major surgeries, that I refused all pain medication after 48 hours. I am no Incredible Hulk, but I can’t stand feeling like a Zombie. When I absolutely can’t stand the pain, I put my mind to use. I knit baby blankets for the PIC Unit, and my local Children’s Hospital. I always have something that I am making for a baby shower, a relative or friend. (This sounds crazy, but I even Crocheted a separate blanket for each one of my cats. LOL They know their blanket, and when I go to bed, they jump up on their own blanket, and don’t move an inch until I get up.)

We are kindred souls my friend, we walk to same path, and I am honored to walk in your footsteps.

          • fauxmccoy says:

kindheart – pain too keeps me up at night. i love my husband but cannot sleep when another is moving about in the bed, if i am jostled or moved even slightly by something other than my own volition, i hurt. i too brought my babies into this world without so much as an advil. my first, i was standing up and caught her myself. i was strong, worked hard as i had all my life and losing that is difficult. after several years of trying to not use opiates, i finally relented at the advice of a pain specialist who looked at my records and stated ‘of course you hurt, you were gutted like a trout’. i take the smallest amount possible – but i have learned the hard way that it is a trade off. a life lived in pain is just as damned as one on opiates, only different. pain leads to distraction, misery, and unkindness to loved ones so for me, i take those meds that have been prescribed (when i remember).

please, feel free to contact me at fauxmccoy@yahoo.com should you wish. i am sure we have much to discuss.

    Great insight.

One thing I try to keep in mind and often tell people.

At my age,or any age, every day this side of the grass is a good day. Better looking down at it than up at it.

If it gets a smile or a chuckle, It’s a very good day.
