Zimmerman Requests Martin’s School Records and Social Media Accounts

The Orlando Sentinel has reported today:

Zimmerman’s defense has asked for subpoenas for records from the teenager’s middle and high schools, as well as his Twitter and Facebook accounts. A hearing has been set for Oct. 19.

Zimmerman, 29, fatally shot the Miami Gardens 17-year-old Feb. 26 in Sanford. Authorities allege he profiled and pursued the teen.

Zimmerman says he fired in self-defense after Trayvon attacked him. Zimmerman’s defense is also asking for a continuance. In a motion, the defense team writes that “at least 50-75” witness depositions must be completed in the case before it will be ready for trial.

In a third new motion, O’Mara asked to be allowed to review the court’s copy of a recorded law-enforcement interview of a woman identified as “Witness 9.” That witness, in two interviews made public in the case already, accused Zimmerman of disliking black people and of molesting her when they were both young.

O’Mara writes in his motion that the state failed several times to provide him with a working copy of a third Witness 9 interview, and he wants to know whether Circuit Judge Kenneth Lester Jr. received a bad copy, too. Zimmerman “requests the opportunity to review, with the court, the recordings … to ascertain whether or not the Court received an accurate recording as finally disclosed by the State … or if the Court received an inaccurate or inaudible recording, as the defense has received up until” the latest evidence exchange on Sept. 19.

Global Grind reports that Benjamin Crump said the request is irrelevant.

“Trayvon’s parents maintain that his school records and Facebook page are completely irrelevant to George Zimmerman’s decision to get out of his car to profile, pursue, and shoot their son in the heart on February 26, 2012.

How does George Zimmerman’s review of Trayvon Martin’s high school and middle school records and Facebook page bear any relevance to Zimmerman’s decision to pull the trigger and kill a seventeen year old child? Is this going to be a new legal standard we are setting- for a murderer to review the school records and Facebook page of his teenage victim to determine whether or not he should have killed him?”

After Trayvon’s death, there was a small group of hateful and racist people, who attempted to destroy his legacy, reputation, and image.

These people hacked this dead youth’s social media accounts, his email account, and stooped as low as to plaster the internet with photoshopped and fake images purporting to be Trayvon.

On the advice of counsel, and with the intent to preserve Trayvon’s public reputation, Trayvon Martin’s parents deactivated all of his electronic accounts.”

I have previously written that the rules of evidence permit the defense to introduce evidence that Trayvon was an aggressive bully, assuming such evidence exists, to support Zimmerman’s claim that Trayvon was the aggressor. However, specific instances of misconduct would not be admissible. Instead, the evidence would have to be limited to stating the character trait.

I do not believe such evidence exists and I suspect O’Mara knows that. Since he appears to be determined to try the case in the court of public opinion, I fear that his real motive is to obtain the records to post them on the internet. This would further publicize the recent suspension for the trace amount of marijuana detected in his backpack and the earlier report about some jewelry and a screwdriver that were found in his backpack. No criminal charges were filed in either case and the evidence would not be admissible at trial for any purpose.

If O’Mara finds some evidence that Trayvon was an aggressive bully and he introduces it at trial, he will open the door for the prosecution to introduce similar type evidence regarding Zimmerman, which we know exists.

The hearing will be before Judge Debra Nelson on Friday, October 19, 2012.

Can we continue to talk over here? If not, will you open a new “Open Thread” for Zimmerman again?

  3. Malisha says:

Respectful of Jeralyn? Heck, how could you be, when her “defense” consists of repeating George’s discredited baloney about the “suspect emerg[ing] from the darknes” to try to kill him in full view of witnesses who have alerted the police. She states the “Trayvon attacked him and bashed his head and broke his nose” litany as if it were really axiomatic and she goes careening off from there.

I have wondered: Do you think she’s kinda turned on by George? I can find no other reason for her intellect going out of gear completely when it comes to this case.

    • rachael says:

      Ewwwww.

    • SearchingMind says:

Yes, Malisha, I have always have the hunch that Jeralyn is emotionally infatuated with “George”. Jeralyn calls Zimmerman “George” and address and defends him (Zimmerman) with affectionate passion and in a way that people ordinarily address and/or defend their loved ones. I find that quite odd. Jeralyn might be the type that see “masculine potency” in the act of killing (as evidenced in many case of some women marrying convicted serial rapist killers). I am not a psychiatrist, so I may be very, very wrong on this one.

      • I personally know Jeralyn and I disagree with your opinion that she is emotionally infatuated with George Zimmerman.

She is a criminal defense lawyer who believes in the presumption of innocence and she will defend it passionately for any person charged with a crime. I respect her for doing that.

I also believe in the presumption of innocence, but I switched to teaching law 8 years ago and I am now retired. I look at Zimmerman’s case from a more detached and objective perspective less committed to emphasizing the presumption of innocence and more committed to using the case as a teaching device about our criminal justice system.

    • Lonnie Starr says:

One thing ends the “head bashing” theory for once and for all: No matter how strong Trayvon was, he could not both maintain that position (called a “High Mount”) needed to bash someone’s head, and still do it at the same time. When someone tries to pick up your head in that position, your neck muscles reflexively tighten up, making that kind of attack impossible.

Of course, combat specialists and martial artists as well as physical therapists will testify to that. Even scientists and engineers can show the attack to be impossible. GZ has just dreamed himself into prison! His “tell them anything and they’ll have to believe it” style of defense, is runaway, It places too much faith in public and official ignorance. Official cooperation lasted only some 46 days before it collapsed under a welter of national attention. Thus the officials who are responsible for that “Official Cooperation” with GZ, letting him go free in spite of the fact that he had no good explanation of his own conduct, is actionable at law! Because the law does not allow LEO’s to take a “buddy buddy” view of LE.

Of course, now that “buddy buddy work” has been detected, it behooves the public to maintain constant vigilance and pressure, all the way to the finish line. To ensure it doesn’t start working again.

      • Malisha says:

Lonnie, I’m with you on that 100%. Pressure is the key to making sure they don’t reinstitute the official “let it go” attitude toward the murder of an unarmed innocent kid.

        • Lonnie Starr says:

To that end, whenever and where ever you see a Treyvon Martin or GZ blog or comments board, be sure to leave a mark to show that the subject is still an active one. Vote posts up or down, or leave a comment or two. Analytic software gathers activity rates and reports it to the media, so stay active and keep the pot boiling.

    @ Case#1 and Malisha

Hey Case, nice to see you again! You do have a very subtle way of comprehensively hitting hard and devastating opposing views. We have missed that. Good to see you back. Now, pls. go and find ‘Patricia’ and ‘Boa..’. I understand you might know where they are.

I have had my fair shear of fights with Ms. Jeralyn Merritt. In one of her blogs Jeralyn based her opinions (almost) entirely on the conjectures of someone called “diwataman” (a well know white separatist/supremacist) and “theconservativetreehouse” (a neo-nazi site – considering that 99.9% of its activities are purely race-based!). I pointed out to Jeralyn that as a lawyer, ‘I would defend anyone to the best of my knowledge and ability irrespective of what they are accused of. But if I find myself doing exactly the same thing neo-Nazi sites are doing, I would definitely take some time off and reflect on what I am doing’. With regard to her claim that Mark Osterman is someone who is out to damage “George” for financial gains and not really a friend of “George”, I pointed out to Jeralyn ‘that it is rather very telling that she would not even consider the possibility that “George” (whose stories to the police art internally inconsistent and inconsistent with one another) may have told different stories to different persons at different times regarding the same incident’. I further remarked (sarcastically) to Jeralyn that ‘indeed, it is NOT strange that the case has shifted from ‘the State of Florida vs Zimmerman’ to ‘Zimmerman vs. Zimmerman’s friends and family members’ (whom he told different stories)’. I suggested to her that ‘she might be making the case that everyone is bad except “George”.’ This really got Jeralyn so enraged that – it think – smoke was rushing out of her ears. She had to strike back. So, first, she deleted my comments and informed me that the said comments were “objectionable”. Then I told her: “well take your imbecilic opinions presented as objective legal analysis and stick them to your (you know what)”. Then, she banned me for a week AND then unbanned me under the condition that I “be respectful”. But I do not visit her site anymore. I honestly think that that Lady is (intellectually) dishonest and an imbecile.

On the 10th of October 2012, one of Jeralyn’s reliable source( “diwataman”) made the following statements on the conservative doghouse:

    “diwataman says:
    October 10, 2012 at 2:27 am
    This is my comment;
I’m not so sure the hoodie thing is scary but getting assaulted with no end in sight by a black man is. Oh that’s right, Trayvon was just a child, I almost forgot, oh yeah and he just had skittles. I’m going to hand out skittles to all the black kids this year and for the white kids I’ll be handing out Kel-Tec 9mm’s.”

    • rachael says:

He has posted a few things that even the administrator of the site has told him to back off of.

I totally agree with your assessment of the outhouse. I do not know the other, though I have looked at it a few times.

I am no longer allowed to post at the outhouse because I told them their racist posts do not serve GZ well. I was not disrespectful or nasty about it and I am sincere. If GZ is not the kind of person they say he is, they should not be what they say he isn’t. It does not help him or put him in a good light when this is what stands up for him.

    • SearchingMind says:

Rach, it is good you do not post there anymore. It is of no use. Those guys have blocked their ears and closed their eyes on purpose and for ONE reason: Trayvon is black. One or two people close to me are like that too. I check up on them (the ones on the conservative treehouse) now and then to keep track of what they are doing and to know, among others, when lives of others are threatened (so that Home Land Security- and FBI Agents could start yanking them of the trees as soon as possible, etc.).

  5. Malisha says:

Robert Zimmerman Jr. wouldn’t give an interview to the Miami Herald. BWAhahahahahahaha!

    • SearchingMind says:

Yea, Malisha, that’s right. Zimmerman jr. loves being handled with baby-gloves by girly-men such as Piers Morgan who lets him spew nonsense ad nauseam. Zimmerman jr. doesn’t like to play with the big boys and answer tough questions.

  6. Malisha says:

The David Packman thing is not impressing me at all. Remember what Packman’s goal is — to add to the O’Mara side of the scale so he can plead George out and avoid a trial. There is no real chance that O’Mara believes a SYG hearing or a pre-trial self-defense dismiss-the-charges hearing will succeed because of the PHYSICAL evidence that will make it clear that George’s story is not credible. That’s in addition to the fact that George himself is not credible.

The prosecution doesn’t need a “slam dunk.” They can prevail in an ordinary “game” without any magic, without any real drama. George’s self-defense story is not only contradicted by the evidence (timing, geographical location of the body and shell casing, condition of the body, forensic evaluation of the entry wound and etc.), it is unsupportable using common sense alone.

But what is interesting to me is the perception, at TalkLeft, at OutHouse, by the Z Tribe, a la Dershowitz, and in the wild imaginations of the Z Support Team, that this is not a real murder case, but a popularity contest. To them, for some reason, their guy can be voted “Miss Congeniality” and Trayvon can therefore be relegated to the “hall of embarrassed dead thugs” so there need be no further “whining” and “carrying on” by the annoying self-aggrandizing quasi-Americans who think “The People of the State of Florida” should defend a kid George Zimmerman already TOLD THEM was up to no good.

That part amazes me. Always will. Remember, if you can’t convict a person of a crime by showing he was the TYPE of person who would commit it, how much less can you convict a person of being a victim who deserved a crime by showing he was the TYPE of person who should have been victimized?

    • jm says:

Malisha says: …… this is not a real murder case, but a popularity contest. To them, for some reason, their guy can be voted “Miss Congeniality” and Trayvon can therefore be relegated to the “hall of embarrassed dead thugs”

That is exactly what the Zimmerman family are making this – a popularity contest. See what a nice self-sacrificing person GZ is? Aren’t we (Zimmermans) a great, successful, giving, spiritual people, filled with family values, forced to leave our home and go into hiding because of the Trayvon thugs who threaten our lives?

If you like us, vote for George to be found not guilty.

      • Malisha says:

Oh please somebody put up a video with a “carnival barker” doing the “Vote for Georgie” routine. Oh Pleeeease!

I also see it as a “Clap for Tinkerbelle” kinda thing. “If you will all come down hard on Trayvon and his band of thug-like supporters, we can show them what for and they’ll slink away and top objecting to our guy doin’ what needed done to defend real Amurkins from drugged out thievin’ thugs…All together now! Harder! Harder! I can’t HEAR YOU — clap HARDER! What’sa matter with y’all, ain’t got the CLAP? Y’all go see Shellie; she’ll fix y’all up with the CLAP so you can help us bring Tinkerbelle back to life and acquit George. Remember, ‘f it was YOU what offed some thug, Georgie and his whole family would be out there with all their family values workin’ hard to get YOU off!”

Couldn’t find that, but I love the Hitler rants. Here is one about George Zimmerman.

    • Jun says:

He makes sense and yes the difficult issue is finding a reasonable unbiased jury who will weigh the facts and evidence.

      • jm says:

Jun says: “He makes sense and yes the difficult issue is finding a reasonable unbiased jury who will weigh the facts and evidence.”

I agree. My greatest fear is GZ will get a Casey Anthony-type jury who will find him not guilty.

      • SearchingMind says:

Jun, I do not worry (much) about a possible biased Jury. Angela Corey and her team have done excellent job in gathering such overwhelming scientific evidence that leave no- or extremely very small room for interpretation/speculation. I think that the members of the jury will be overwhelmed by the force of objective evidence that shame will deter any of them that may consider letting Zimmerman of the hook. Science will tie the hands and the feet of both judge and jury and lead them to where they need to go. I hope you find some kind of solace herein. May God bless science!

      • Fed-up taxpayer says:

Thank you SearchingMind and thank you Frederick Leatherman; you give hope to someone dreading disillusion with justice in this case.

    • SearchingMind says:

      @ Marshalette Wise

Thanks for the video. I find it staunchly supportive of the views that have been constantly expressed here in the past by our professor and his students. I totally agree with professor Adam Winklers. Indeed, ‘when it comes to who was on top when the shot was fired FORENSICS/BALLISTICS will be determinative (and I don’t give a jack about what any witness has to say when I am armed with forensic evidence). That forensic evidence tells the opposite of the stor(y)(ies) told by Zimmerman. According to forensic evidence made public so far, Zimmerman was on top of (an immobilized) Trayvon when the shot was fired. The direct opposite (i.e. Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman at that critical moment) is sheer SCIENTIFIC IMPOSSIBILITY! And that is just one of MANY forensic evidence that will seal Zimmerman’s fate. O’Mara understands that. But you will never hear dishonest lawyers like Jeralyn Merritt or her momentary supporters at the conservative doghouse/conservative ghetto discuss forensics/ballistics and the implications thereof.

  7. Malisha says:

I checked out TalkLeft. Jeralyn’s folks have dumbed down considerably since last I checked in on them, months back. Now the idea is that the prosecution has only one way to prove that George did NOT act in self-defense, and that way is to show that Trayvon Martin was not the kind of person to attack someone and try to kill him.

How do people manage that degree of self-delusion? They say stupid things like that and then believe them because they have said them? Neither side has to, or can, prove anything significant about what TYPE Of person they have as their main witness. Defense cannot and is not required to prove that their guy is not the kind of person to commit murder; the law does not even define the “kind of person” it prosecutes for murder. What George IS simply doesn’t enter into the legal equation; what George DID is the issue. And even more to the point in the idea that the prosecution should try to “show” that Trayvon would not have tried to kill George! In fact, if Trayvon HAD tried to kill George he would have been within his rights under the SYG law because HE was the one being threatened by someone and HE had a right to self defense, as is pointed out in the charging documents.

What it looks like to me, on these angry-man blogs like Jeralyn’s, is that these folks are puffing themselves up with hatred for Trayvon so that they can justify IN THEIR OWN MINDS the conduct of a murderer they have been supporting. To them, the attack on Zimmerman to prosecute him is an attack on them, and they want to clear their names. They’re saying, “Don’t hate GEORGE; hate TRAYVON.” To them, in their impaired state (“Mommy Mommy Help somebody said they won’t be my best friend!”), that makes sense. Trayvon BAD Crump BAD Jackson BAD Sharpton BAD George GOOD me GOOD.

These wonderful liberals; had they been in Germany in 1933 they’d have given a little extra aid and comfort to the Gestapo.

    • Jun says:

      They’re idiots.

Fact is, character evidence, is a maybe it happened, perhaps it could have happened, because of an incident of that character trait.

Let us say for example I started a fight one time in my life.

Does it mean I will always pick fights?

      Was there an extenuating circumstance?

It is one of the reasons character evidence is not admissible because it does not legitimately tie them to the crime.

What are they going to do when Zimmerman’s character comes into play, as well as his habit evidence of being a bully who targets people and animals?

It would become even ground showing both characters are capable (with Z looking a hell of a lot worse) and then what becomes important is the evidence from the night of, what lead to it, and the aftermath.

This is the forensic evidence, direct evidence, witness evidence, audio and video recordings, etc.

It is presume innocent until proven guilty, not presume it is self defense.

They simply have to presume he is innocent of murder until it is proven Z guilty.

Trayvon could have been a gang banger (big laugh at this) but it does not automatically mean Zimmerman acted in self defense or that Trayvon attacked him, or that Trayvon has no rights to self defense.

It is irrelevant in the end, because it is about what happened on Feb 26, 2012 and the aftermath of the incident.

The bottom line is Z cant prove a legitimate reason for stalking and harassing as well as targeting Trayvon, attacking him, terrorizing him, shooting him, and then pinning him facedown, asphyxiating him until he stopped struggling and then spread lies and slander with no proof.

Z contradicted himself many times and made inconsistent statements many times and was hung by statements from his friends and family members.

Z is the only person who states it was self defense and claims all his wacky stories.

    • angela_nw says:

Why equate neo-nazi/racist/Zimmerman lovers with ALL liberals?
      That’s a wrong assumption.

  8. Malisha says:

“GZ said on Hannity’s program that he was nervous and terrorized, not wanting the police to arrive and find him standing there with his gun. GZ was more concerned with not being charged with unlawful retainer and assault than he was about the life of another human being.”

Exactly. And another thing about this particular point that GZ made on Hannity. No way does it make sense. If you’re being beaten half to death, and then you miraculously are saved, you don’t give a damn HOW you look to anybody showing up; you’re ALIVE! You can’t believe your immense good luck. You’re on your knees thanking God that you made it! You’re in tears of relief! If you were to get arrested you’d be grateful for the safety of a jail cell and your phone call to say to your family, “I lived!” Police are coming? Hallelujah!

    • Xena says:

      @Malisha.

No way does it make sense. If you’re being beaten half to death, and then you miraculously are saved, you don’t give a damn HOW you look to anybody showing up; you’re ALIVE!

True. I agree. GZ’s statement also reveals an admittance; i.e., that he had his gun out and was holding it on Trayvon without there being any physical conditions giving the police reason to believe that GZ was in danger.

    • racerrodig says:

I’m still stunned that he makes these slips. He was concerned he was standing there with a gun he used !! and how it would look to the police. Did he actually think they would just say “No biggie George… Everyone has an unexpected kill ……”

      • Xena says:

        @racerrodig.

I’m still stunned that he makes these slips. He was concerned he was standing there with a gun he used !!

Racerrodig, he didn’t say a gun he used. It wasn’t past tense. What GZ conveyed is that he was standing there holding the gun on Trayvon. With Trayvon screaming for help, (and being heard from a distance by the cops) which person do you think the cops would more than likely assume was committing a crime? The kid screaming, or the grown, skin-head man holding a gun on him?

      • racerrodig says:

Xena….My bad, I just went past what it is to what it could be I guess. Either way, he’s depraved as is every thought he has.

To bolster that, a friend / customer of mine gave me a copy of the “FLORIDA FIREARMS Law, Use & Ownership” Guide. I was given excerpts from my man months ago and posted them on the cesspool site. I was derided to no end with the “Z committed no crime ever” lines.

I quoted from it there yesterday. It clearly states that if the other party has stopped any action, the crime, fighting, attacking…everything, you absolutely cannot use you gun.

It states that no matter what, if you shoot anyone for any reason and are no in LE you are responsible and unless you have an ironclad SYG or SD claim, expect to live behind bars for some time and expect to get sued.

Of course in more detail. Through a hand writing expert we hired in our lawsuit against Ocwen for mortgage fraud and the robo – signing fraud, we came to be familiar with Tom Owens work. The fact that it clearly is Trayvon screaming, there is no way Z gets off on this.

But I stand by my though, how can he make these statements and not realize what he’s doing. Then again I have said this.

Officer “Mr. Zimmerman, you have the right to remain silent…”

GZ “…….um….Okay, but why would I do that……..I have so many more versions to tell you…”

Jordan who posts on the conservative doghouse just sent a comment to my blog that they are joyously, racially demeaning Attorneys Jackson and Crump on that site.

I suppose that since Junior is afraid to come out under his own name, that he is using the doghouse as his surrogate. Let them continue providing the feds with evidence that GZ’s supporters are bigoted, racists, bullies.

      • Xena says:

Jun, I don’t think they understand the harm they are doing to GZ. Attorneys Jackson and Crump are not prosecuting the case. The State of Florida is, through State Attorneys. Trayvon’s parents are not parties to the case. It’s the State v. George M. Zimmerman. GZ is charged with 2nd degree murder. He is claiming self-defense. His supporters are not supporting him because frankly, the evidence is against him. Since they can’t support him, they promote their own agenda, which is an agenda of racial bigotry.

      • Jun says:

I have believed for a while that they do not care about GZ or his well being, but rather the implications of opportunity to further their agenda and GZ is simply a tool for them to garner movement for their agenda. However, since some of the profiles are from the inner workings of the Zim KKKlan, they want to bash everyone involved, because in their mind, it is impossible for a Zimmerman to be wrong, and questioning it is against “God’s Plan”, therefore you do see some backlash against everyone who wanted to support balancing the injustice at the beginning of this tragedy, which includes us and Corey and the rest of the state. Bias is a weakness, therefore, the ones focused on slandering Trayvon’s family, Crump & co, and black people, are blind to the fact that it is the state of Florida who want Zimmerman and are also blind to how things work. This amalgam of cesspool nuttiness coincides into an implosion.

      • racerrodig says:

Jun & Xena….Last week I teased the Zidiots about them not knowing that it was Z’s birthday. I tricked a few into admitting that this has nothing to do with Z and they could not care less about him. So Z is an insignificant loser, and they admit it !!

She has the story wrong. The state never said Trayvon punched or hit Zimmerman. They said that he is the only one with a legitimate self defense claim.

    • Jun says:

They should concentrate on what happened on the time of the incident, leading up to it, and the aftermath during investigations and in and out of court sanctions. Everything else is irrelevant.

The twitter is not going to be verifiable. There are many fakes made and Trayvon is dead, so there is not any way there is to verify the real twitter of Trayvon if he had one, plus there is stories of the twitters and other facets being hacked.

      • Case#1 says:

I honestly do not sense that either Talk Left or the defense cares.

The more I follow this the more I think its about protecting their own.

These kinds of rationalizations that never quite add up happen often when dealing with race. “X” wasn’t okay when you pointed out that it was about racism, but its now okay to impeach the character of a dead boy. You can fill in X with whatever you want because that’s often how it works. I am just angered by how it just seems all like a game.

      • Jun says:

Their bias is so clear and transparent, it is kind of baffling how there are some falling for it. For example, Omara, has been preaching the 6th amendment for GZ but fails to realize the implications of infringement on Trayvon’s rights since he is dead and can’t confront his witnesses and allegations against him, so there has to be some fair ground for Trayvon as well. I also do not see why Omara wants to go the “Sandusky Rape Victim Blame & Conspiracy” defense, when most will be disgusted by it. There has to be a fine line drawn and focus on the real issue, because this is not about a boy’s actions, it is about Zimmerman, and smoke and mirrors needs to be taken out of court as it is simply going to muddy up and waste court time on useless information.

There has to be a fine line drawn and focus on the real issue, because this is not about a boy’s actions, it is about Zimmerman, and smoke and mirrors needs to be taken out of court as it is simply going to muddy up and waste court time on useless information.

What you wrote is interesting, because I’ve been watching the John Goodman trial on TruTV. I heard that he had been arrested for DUI and that the other driver died. Other than that, I was blind as a bat and green as grass about the case.

Goodman crashed into another car. That car flipped over an embankment into a canal. The driver died from drowning.

Goodman’s attorneys are arguing that Goodman wasn’t drunk until AFTER the crash. They also argue that his car had mechanical problems and couldn’t stop. His defense for failing to provide aid to the other driver is because he didn’t see where the car went; he was injured and confused. He did not call 911 until an hour after the crash.

I’m really trying to look at this from a juror’s POV. The thing that sticks with me the most is that the 23 yr old, recent college grad driving the other car did not have to die. Goodman was more concerned with not being charged with DUI than the life of that other driver.

Then I think about Trayvon. He didn’t have to die. GZ said on Hannity’s program that he was nervous and terrorized, not wanting the police to arrive and find him standing there with his gun. GZ was more concerned with not being charged with unlawful retainer and assault than he was about the life of another human being.

      • Xena says:

BTW, the Goodman trial was held in May, but I am watching this as though it’s in real time.

      • Jun says:

        Exactly Xena

That simple statement and Zimmerman’s in and out of court actions truly prove a disregard for life, selfishness, self absorbed and depraved actions of Zimmerman, as it is all about him, he could not possibly be wrong, it is the dead person’s fault, and that is that, in George’s mind. It is something that will be pointed out to jurors and turn manslaughter into murder in the second degree. The way it is, simply dispelling the self defense claim equates manslaughter with a firearm, but everything else, adds that extra bit of evil, that makes it worst and aggravated. What will make it even worse for George is that it was a kid, he only had candy and ice tea, the kid never attacked him, the kid tried his best to avoid a confrontation, and George led and motivated an onslaught on Trayvon and his family as seen by his minions and his cult. The icing on the cake is he asphyxiated the kid by sitting on him facedown till Trayvon stopped struggling. All of Omara’s attempts at getting Trayvon’s twitter, facebook, school records and grades since kindergarten, is simply adding to the aggravation.

I understand that Baez also told GZ to go take a flying leap.

Looks like the conservative doghouse has picked up where Junior left off. Do they understand the nails they are putting in GZ’s coffin by confirming he committed a racial hate crime?

  14. Xena says:

“The law is written in black and white, it should not and cannot be be enforced in the grey for those in the thin blue line.” Words of George M. Zimmerman. WTH did he say?

    • Malisha says:

Right. George didn’t give a hoot for Sherman Ware. He was working for Bill Lee and others, who were Tooley’s political enemies, and he was there trying to pump up their side of whatever political goal they had at the meeting. Obviously those sentences were written for him; he can’t put whole sentences like that together! Why didn’t he turn in the officer who took 2 lunch breaks and attended a party on the job? How come HE wasn’t charged with participating in a cover-up, HUH?

George will say whatever he thinks will promote his goal, whatever his particular goal is. Check out the logic: “I want to know what’s being done to take Tooley’s pension away. I’m not saying it should be taken away, just that he already forfeited it because he done bad. So I was on a ride-along and these people are disgusting. Yeah. So I think I said everything they told me to say. Yeah. And I’m a big shot. See?”

      • Xena says:

        @Malisha.

George will say whatever he thinks will promote his goal, whatever his particular goal is.

INDEED. Trayvon could have been wearing a suit and standing in the mail shed waiting on a taxi, and GZ would have still found him “suspicious” because that is the way his mind is wired. He always has to play the “big shot.”

      • He says the Fraternal Order of Police Endorsement. What does that mean!!!!

      • Jun says:

either that or Zimmerman’s huge ass knuckle bandaids do wonders and miracle cures for death wounds LMAO

    • Jun says:

This fits in with his “these assholes always get away” comment. It fits the delusion he has that that complex is some crazy high crime area, when it is not, and that he felt that the police are worthless, and he felt he should take matters into his own hands. However, as showcased, Zimmerman has a horrible sense of judgement as he stalked and killed a kid for walking home with candy. He fits into the totalitarian control modus operandi. He follows the mindset of Republican representative Fuqua in Arkansas, with his kill kids mentality.

      • Xena says:

This fits in with his “these assholes always get away” comment.

It certainly does. He was dissatisfied with the former Chief of Police. Then, he conveys his dissatisfaction under Chief Lee’s reign by saying “These assholes. They always get away.” It was the same motivation — the police are laying down on the job. GZ wanted to be Chief of Police.

        • cielo62 says:

It’s the same program he tried at the Carmax. He was always complaining about his managers, saying he could do their job better. In the end, he was fired. I guess GZ is incapable of learning a lesson.

      • He brought in his own chair to work and used to lock it t his desk because he felt someone was moving it. Then, he went off the deep end when someone needed to move it and broke the lock to do so. GZ demanded action – poor Georgie. His sense of justice is definitely skewed. His chair was moved and he made such a huge fuss about it that the guy went out to buy a new lock just to shut him up.

Folks, anybody know more about Shellie Zimmerman’s father? Is he David Bryan Dean? If so, is he from North Carolina? Was he arrested on October 6 of this year for breaking into a vehicle? I can’t seem to find firm data on him, don’t know where to look…

  16. Malisha says:

Sterile women are permitted to marry in the Catholic Church, aren’t they?

    • Xena says:

@Malisha. Left the Roman Catholic church around 1979. Remember the teaching then was the purpose of marriage was to have children; no birth control; no abortions. Also, if you married a non-Catholic, they had to agree to raise children born of the marriage Catholic. If the marriage could not be consummated, that was reason for annulment. The same was true if the wife was unable to conceive, but there was something in that rule/doctrine that adoption was allowed.

Don’t quote me on this — it’s been a long time.

QUESTION: “I mean to lie about the money may have been greed-based, but for her to be charged with perjury and chance a felony conviction, is GZ worth it, especially since it looks like he may be doing some long-term prison time being exposed as a liar by the evidence.” GEORGE is an addiction for Shellie now. ALL her self-esteem is wrapped up in the George Project. Let’s see if she is having a child before I can predict anything else.

QUESTION: That is why I would like to see Shellie’s trial to see how she reacts if she is found guilty. She is in a lose-lose situation but I don’t know if she is smart enough to realize it. I DON”T THINK SHE IS SMART ENOUGH TO REALIZE ANYTHING, AND WORSE, SHE HAS BEEN FOOLING HERSELF. And it is sooooo easy to do! Just tell her ANYTHING!

The court doesn’t play around with semantics.

        Shellie didn’t.

GZ…I’ll love you forever…. (or until you find out about the hookers and smash my head on the concrete.)

GZ…I promise……next week… I’ll get a job (and you bought that line 53 times already, who am I kidding !!)

GZ….Oh yes, SheLie, orange does look good on you (get used to it babe)

GZ…Oh SheLie, I’d never do anything to hurt you (have you finished reading the Peter Pan script yet ??)

GZ..Oh don’t worry, my dad has connections, this will all blow over. (I hope those pesky parents and the police buy that thug stuff)

Tell her anything…….but I doubt he gave her Diamonds, like the commercial says !!……

  18. If those tweets are genuinely originating from Robert Zimmerman Jr., and if I were Natalie Jackson, I would consider those comments as threats. Is that sorta my Dad is bigger than your Dad type of thinking on RZ Jrs. part — you black folk have threatened my family, so I have the same right to threaten you and anyone else who defends Trayvon Martin. His racism angle is so transparent, it leads me to believe RZ Jr. wasn’t the brightest student at law school. RZ Jr. : You call my brother racist, so I am calling you all racist. Why does my family and other white folk have to prove our credibility. You all are lying as much as my brother. If he pays, you will pay like NBC.

I am starting to think the joke is on Zimmerman because O’Mara is playing $400 per hour game and getting nowhere as far as defending his client.

  19. Quick question: Many of you suspect one or more of GZs family and friends are posting on some sites. Since GZ is asking for Trayvon;s media comments how about the FBI or the prosecution investigate those who are suspected. Someone asked earlier how someone would prove that someone is racist. When GZ said – coons – it sparked national debate. I think if comments made on blogs by any one of them would clearly identify racism. Your thoughts.

    • Jun says:

I actually see a lot of similarities with the defense of Sandusky, to what Robert Zimmerman Jr. is doing, except RZ Jr. and co. are trying to muddy the waters with the straw man argument of race. Their whole cult is essentially claiming the same things Sandusky’s defense team claimed against their victims, thrown in with racial accusations. I do not personally feel it would be that difficult to prove racism on the parts of Zimmerman’s cult and family and friends and co. RZ Jr. makes it very clear and transparent to push his agenda and dodge questions.

That’s ’cause the gun-toters are not SHOOTING folks who are committing crimes; they’re shooting folks they’re MAD AT.

    • Lonnie Starr says:

The whole case boils down to GZ had no right to shoot anybody.
If there was someone suspicious on the grounds, his only approved action was to call the police and wait for them to respond.
He had no authority to do anything beyond that, and because he did do more than that, he killed someone. He caused the loss of a life by his reckless disregard for the instruction the police gave him.

  21. Xena says:

    I was just thinking about the direction MOM is attempting in the thugification of Trayvon and wondering;
    1. How does he overcome the fact that GZ received NW rules that instruct not to follow?
    2. GZ’s story of Trayvon coming out of the darkness is based on the altercation occurring at the T, and he provides no explanation for how or why Trayvon’s body was about 50 ft from the T.

In consideration of this, shouldn’t MOM be concentrating on defending GZ’s actions?

    • Malisha says:

See that’s the thing, Xena. O’Mara loses if he concentrates on defending GZ’s actions; they were indefensible. “Murphy’s Law,” said Serino, adding that if Trayvon WERE a thug, it would be “two thumbs up.”

That, of course, was wrong. No law says that if a person is considered a thug, in the sole discretion of an armed civilian who would like to kill him, he automatically is stripped of the protection of laws, such as those laws that punish homicide. But laws are enforced by law enforcement officers, and in Serino’s book, maybe if the victim is disreputable, he could justify a killing more easily than if the victim is what a blogger over on the Turley thread calls a “choirboy.”

What O’Mara is doing, in my opinion, is what a good magician does: Distract everybody’s eyes so that his hands can pull off something sneaky. If everyone concentrates on “Thug Trayvon” they do not pay as much attention to “Killer George.”

He’s just playing up the “Thug Trayvon” card so he can end up with the following draw: OK so George DID murder somebody, at least it wasn’t a GOOD KID he murdered.

THEN O’Mara can do his magic and work out a plea deal for less than ten years for his little buddy. We shall see.

Frankly, I wouldn’t care much if they did a ten-year on George because he’s not likely to be able to serve his time. I would much prefer a trial because I consider the cops, the enablers, and Lee and Wolfinger even more guilty than the defendant. It would really help us as a whole country if the thing were to be revealed in all its disgusting proportions, corruption, lies, racism and all. I’d like to see a “Sandusky Thing” happen to SPD as it happened to Penn State. But who knows? It probably won’t.

Believe me, if George thought the police in his town would consider him a defendant simply for murdering an unknosn Black kid, he would not have pulled that trigger.

      • Jun says:

Even if Omara pulls off the thug Trayvon image (big laugh), the Florida law has bare minimums of 25 to life for any killing done with a gun, whether it is manslaughter or murder 2.

    • racerrodig says:

      1. He can’t and in fact will be held to a higher standard on several issues. He’s a Criminal Justice major and will be accountable even more. He has (allegedly) a CCW permit and the same holds true there. He has NW training, same issue.

All in all, it comes down to “He should have known better” and then some

      2. Remember Z said Trayvon came

      a) out of nowhere
      b) out of the bushes and
      c) from behind him.

So can we take our pick ??

“In consideration of this, shouldn’t MOM be concentrating on defending GZ’s actions?”

Are the cameras rolling ?? If so……..(O’ Mara) is this my good side??

      • Fed-up taxpayer says:

I know less about law and procedure than anyone(bottom of the class, I reckon), but HE SHOULD’VE KNOWN BETTER, since he was trained many times over by (just to name a couple)

        his college,
        his CCW permit courses,
        and his anger management course.

  22. Malisha says:

jm, you point out that “I come from dysfunctional (not extreme) family and we’re perfect is definitely not our thing.”

Right, and that’s part of the reason your family was not EXTREME. It’s the EXTREMELY dysfunctional families who do the “we are perfect” thing. Cognitive dissonance I guess.

I married into one of those families. Brother slept with sister; one of three children was illegitimate; mom was an abuser; dad molested his daughter; half the family were alcoholics; one 40-year-old grown-up was still a bedwetter; together they conducted all sort of frauds; the only sib who did not have multiple divorces was the one who engaged in domestic violence physically over and over and who was described by the spouse as “just someone I had to marry,” etc. etc. etc. Yet their dying words are that they are a perfect family and that all these rotten lying in-laws have tried to “sow the seeds of destruction” but that will all fail because they have FAMILY PRIDE.

My kid changed his name to get away from them. They’re like a “way over the top” TV tragicomedy and the realities are too ridiculous to believe! Yet they think, and forcefully SAY, that they are perfect. When one of them gets in trouble with the law the rest of the start running around like chickens with their heads cut off, talking about prejudice and conspiracy and slander. Totally nuts.

Meanwhile, the way you can tell a family like that, like the Zimmermans, is that they end up having few friends. Their in-laws, like Shellie, are fiercely in their corner or in their control until the divorces occur and then, try to escape by any means necessary.

    • jm says:

@Malisha That is way beyond dysfunction that I experienced. I just had really young parents who were unprepared to raise children and father with depression – and we were relatively poor.

I just don’t get how the Zimmerman family has to lie. If they just keep their mouths shut, nobody would care to look so deep at the family background. Once they get on a high horse and make the media rounds, the public will wonder why they protest so much and then when looking further will find them a bunch of liars. That can’t be good for GZ’s credibility and image. Add in RZ twitter rants and threats, you can see the anger issues and that reflects on GZ.

I wonder what the high and mighty Zimmerman clan thinks of ShelLIE, if they look down on her or were supportive of GZ’s choice to marry her.

I just wish the trial would move on quickly for both ShelLIE and GZ so I can get the Zimmerman clan and their outrageous behaviors out of my mind.

      • Two sides to a story says:

GZs case for self-defense based purely on evidence (not on interviews) was almost believable until he, his friends and his family began flapping their lips.

      • Malisha says:

My guess about Shellie: They are welded very close to her now because that kind of family circles the wagons around when there is trouble, and who’s with’em becomes part of their militia, and who’s outside and not aligned become “agin’em” — enemies. Shellie’s loyal to George so she’s OK for now. If she ever has the slightest sign of wanting to defend her own interests rather than his/theirs, though, or if she enters into competition with either Gladys or Gracie, look OUT! She’ll be a pariah/demon in about two nanoseconds with time to spare.

RZ Sr. “Oh, he and George haven’t spoken in years….”

  23. Malisha says:

The thing that really gets to me is the way the Zimmerman family still imagines that they are in a position to judge others! THEY have declared Sharpton and Jackson to be racist rabble-rousers who should apologize to George. THEY have judged Trayvon to be a thug who was raised by inadequate parents in a bad home. THEY have judged 75% of the American people to be “rushing to judgment” yet they are judging everyone else. And by virtue of what grant of divine authority? THEIR OWN! They declare themselves perfect and thus they can judge all the rest of us. 😈

    • racerrodig says:

Yep. Then they grab the volume knob of “HYPOCRITE” – crank it to full and say “…we believe in the judicial system” which to them means…

“..we hope he gets a jury of 12 white, male, racist pig sons of B’s who just renewed their NRA memberships, are gullible and enjoyed molesting a cousin like George did”

  24. Malisha says:

George and Gracie are half-sibs. I can’t figure out the genetic i.d. of the various sibs, or the time-line of the marriage. I probably could if I got the ages and names together but I haven’t thought it very interesting so I didn’t do it. For me, the significant piece of information in the structure of the family is that “closed system dominated by a ‘look good to the outside’ mentality supporting a tyrannical parent and her view of her family’s righteous superiority.” I guess I should coin a phrase to describe it: The Imperial Dysfunctional Family, thus, the “IDF” — uh oh, that name’s taken!

    • jm says:

Malisha: “George and Gracie are half-sibs.”

LOL – so relationship could be only half incestuous?

Who are George’s parents and who are Gracie’s parents? Is Gracie aka Susie?

How in the world did Zimmerman family ever get this idea they were superior with all the crazy dysfunction? Was it prestige because of father’s title. Did they have more money than average?

      • Malisha says:

No, it’s the extremely dysfunctional families who actually adopt the “we’re perfect” thing so they can live by the lie. Very common. Their superiority is based on them running everybody else DOWN so they are so great by comparison. Just like George having to be “the good guy” so he has to make others into assholes, punks, and dead thugs. Gracie is Susie, yes.

        • jm says:

“No, it’s the extremely dysfunctional families who actually adopt the “we’re perfect” thing so they can live by the lie. Very common.”

I come from dysfunctional (not extreme) family and we’re perfect is definitely not our thing. I simply can’t relate to a family that goes on a publicity tour to tell the public how perfect the family is in spite of facts to the contrary.

Like really who cares about anything other than did GZ profile, stalk and murder a black teen walking home from the store and can it be proven in court.

The Zimmerman clan are greedy publicity ho’s hoping to further profit from the death of black teen. Disgusting and vile.

I think Israelis will not be amused by that initial. IDF is one of the most moral military organizations (wtih beautiful babes btw). Pls. coin something else.

    @ Professor

    Dear Professor.

Going through the comment section, I think many of your students here would like to know the answer to the following questions:

Can the defense file for continuance ad infinitum under Florida law? At which point and/or on what ground(s) may the Court deny motion for continuance and set/impose a trial date?

Your students are also wondering where ‘Case#1’ and ‘Patricia’ are. Any clue(s)?

    • I do not know whether Florida has a speedy trial rule. Most states do, but defendants can waive it and judges usually grant defense requests to continue a trial date, if there is a good reason to do so. So far, no trial date has been set and it does not make any sense to set one until the discovery and witness depositions have been accomplished. The court has been periodically holding a hearing to rule on a pending motion and to inquire regarding when the parties believe they will be ready to try the case. I expect the court will first schedule a date for the immunity hearing after the defense informs the court that it has finished the 50-75 depositions. I suspect it will not set a trial date until after the immunity hearing. At each hearing as this process unfolds, Zimmerman will continue to waive speedy trial to permit the court to grant his request for the continuance. I do not expect the prosecution will object to any request for a continuance as long as the request is reasonable and Zimmerman waives his right to a speedy trial to accommodate the continuance. I am not surprised by the length of time that it has taken to get to where we are today and never believed this case would go to trial before next spring at the earliest.

I don’t know why we have not seen Case#1 and Patricia recently. I miss them and suppose we’ll see them back here sometime soon. I realize people have jobs and other concerns in their lives that require their attention, so I never expect to see their fonts every day. I’ve also been wondering about Boar_d_laze.

    • Jun says:

LMAO why do they make such ridiculous lies?

    • The entire story that Rob Sr. tells sounds like an old soap opera, with their suffering family being unjustly persecuted. He describes George as if he is the most angelic, caring, and hard working son anyone could wish to have. It was hilarious.

Oh why would anybody want to slander these wonderful people? They keep telling us how wonderful they are; isn’t that enough?

  27. If OMara is cringing at all the media interviews, why doesn’t he request a gag order. He obviously could not control his client and now, it seems he can not control the family and friends either. But, I am sure there are means for him (legally) to stop all the crap going on. Or, are his public objections merely more fluff to get and keep the case in the public forum. For someone who does not want the case tried in the media, sure seems strange. Robert is merely trying to get reactions from Trayvons parents lawyers in order to get them to make statements for the headline news. All he needs is for them or Trayvons parents to make comment, and there you have it — they are all racist against the Holier-than-thou Zimmerman.

    • rachael says:

I agree, O’Mara doesn’t seem to mind too much, and if he really does and all this is going on, he is in big trouble. If he really does, he is really between a rock and a hard place. But isn’t Jr. a lawyer too? Doesn’t he understand the need to STFU? I mean I know he seems to think he is the only one with a voice of reason so it is his duty to go out there and let everyone know that GZ and family are really truly good people, but doesn’t he get it that every time one of them opens their mouth, shit hits the fan? Is it some kind of compulsive thing where they just can’t stop? And what about all the awful things they say about Trayvon and his family. IDK, the whole thing has gone beyond the scope of reality for me at this point. I feel like I am watching Jerry Springer, and it is all so wrong.

      • I realize the Zimmerman family is concerned about George’s welfare, but they really need to stop whining. It’s unwarranted and undignified. Meanwhile, Sybrina Fulton lost her son and her quiet strength and dignity despite her loss and the nonstop character assassination to which she has been subjected presents an enormous contrast that generates the sympathy and respect for her that the Zimmermans crave but cannot ever get. If anything, they appear small and petty. Like George, they appear to be self-absorbed and obsessed with wallowing in their victimhood.

        Nobody likes a whiner.

      • rachael says:

Thanks. I totally agree. With everything you said.

    • O’Mara probably could get them to shut-up, if he wanted to do so. I assume he supports their efforts or he would have silenced them.

Of course, I assume they would have stopped, if he had asked them to do so.

I don’t see him asking for a gag order since he’s the one who is attempting to try his case in the court of public opinion.

      • Lonnie Starr says:

I don’t think MOM is trying the case in the public arena, he knows better and no “verdict” reached there, is going to trump the one reached at trial. No, I rather think that, he knows the case is so incredibly bad, all he can do is rely on “the noise machine”, to hopefully generate funds.

As far as any defense, he’s already finished, he’s going to do what lawyers do, when the case is lost from the start. Simply echo the defendants claims and attempt to grab at whatever might support them.

As far as any “conspiracy theories” that, perhaps someone else was there with him. The SP will not go there, unless they somehow develop enough evidence to make an arrest. Weak indications won’t do.

  28. Malisha says:

Jun, you say “They live by the attitude that everything they say is gospel and truth and to even question it at all is blasphemy, even when it makes no sense.”

This is it, you hit the nail on the head. Like super-religious preachers who are positive that their take on god, the world, and everything including law and morals is THE CORRECT ONE, these Zims believe that whatever they say, it MUST BE AGREED TO and that anyone who fails to fall into step with them is a miscreant.

That is exactly the attitude George had when, with his GUN DRAWN, he approached Trayvon Martin that night, bearing with him his Zim-given right to dominate the “asshole…punk…etc.” who had come into his field of vision and thus, he presumed, into his righteous influence.

George’s problem is just that he was born 200 years too late. In 1812 in Florida he could have gotten away with it all. The county circuit-riding judge would have simply said, “George had to kill that Trayvon boy ’cause’n he got uppity.”

    • Jun says:

Cant forget the danger of 100 pound black kids with candy in the early 1800’s, I mean the 300 pound African American with 7 guns who was 8 feet tall

  29. Robert Zimmerman is trying to drum up publicity by being outrageous. But, most do not care. He is not getting the attention he needs to spread the – We Are Not Racist, Trayvon was Racist and targeted my poor brother lies. They need to keep pushing the agenda – he wants people to talk about it, believe it, and react. The more you tell a falsehood, maybe, some who had not before, will now believe. Plant the seed – turn George Zimmerman into a martyr who fears for his life because he is so-hated by the racist black thugs. Carry on, Robert. People nowadays are onto you and your ilk. If OMara is so concerned about these yahoos on media tours hurting his case, why is he not requesting a gag order. I believe he is enjoying every minute of it — tainting the jury pool. I would say this is more of bullying and witness tampering, if you ask me.

Here’s a question. If a person wants to prove they are not a racial bigot, how would they do that?

Do they have any Black friends that are “equal” to them in terms of education, income, interests? Or, are they only comfortable around Blacks who they think look up to them?

      • rachael says:

I don’t know how they would (or why they would need to if they really weren’t), but I assure you, saying “fucking coons” under their breath would not be a good way, for starters.

I noticed Robert Zimmerman Jr’s agenda on The Young Turks when he repeatedly tried to turn the conversation into race when Cenk did not bring it up, and then he had to sneak in the quick hearsay of “Trayvon started the fight by breaking George’s nose”. Robert went on about how “white people” have to prove their credibility and the plight of the black man LOL I am starting to wonder if the Feds paid the Zimmerman household a visit LOL

      • Xena says:

Jun, they are angry that O’Mara has to return donations when they are submitted by racists.

Did Momma Zim say on Piers Morgan that they were still living like vagabonds because of threats? That means that they have not received the money they hoped for either. It’s all God’s plan.

      • racerrodig says:

Jun….that was actually quite funny. He used the word “white” 8 times as I recall. They always get that “Trayvon started it…” jab then turn “HYPOCRITE” up full volume with…”I believe in the justice system” Read : “God I hope he has a jury of 12 white male racist dumb Sons of B’s that just renewed their NRA memberships and are so freaking gullible it’s a joke or he’s fried”

        But that’s just me.

    • I think I would really like to investigate when George would go into the dangerous neighbourhood (as Gladys puts it) to mentor black kids. Was Sherman Ware in that same neighbourhood. Remember, there is a hint of truth in Georges lies. I would investigate shootings on those dates. When he says mentoring – does he mean teaching them to show some respect. For someone who had just shot someone and to be found cool as can be – vital signs as well, tells me this is not his first kill. He shot with precision and purpose.

      • Xena says:

When he says mentoring – does he mean teaching them to show some respect.

GZ doesn’t qualify to tutor. He failed required college courses and barely passed others. GZ doesn’t qualify to mentor because he has no successes to guide others in achieving their goals.

        • jm says:

“GZ doesn’t qualify to tutor. He failed required college courses and barely passed others. GZ doesn’t qualify to mentor because he has no successes to guide others in achieving their goals.”

Speaking of mentoring, has it been established under what circumstances GZ was tutoring anyone? And by the way, when Gladys mentioned GZ went into “dangerous” neighborhoods to mentor, does that translate into black neighborhoods? Love to know the specifics of the mentoring claims.

      • Malisha says:

The “mentoring” story changes each time it’s mentioned. First, we had George going into bad neighborhoods to mentor Black kids because, according to Mamma-Z, he said if HE didn’t do it, those poor kids would not have ANYONE to do it. THEN we hear that there were kids at his HOUSE being “mentored” right before he left for Target on 2/26/2012. He said that “we” do “our” grocery shopping on Sunday evenings, so “after we mentored the kids” he set out for Target. [Hannity interview]

I think the “mentored kids” and “single-handedly got justice for Sherman Ware” and the “had so many African American friends who loved him and whom he loved that he could have held his own protest march in the streets and just kept Osterman as his ‘token white friend'” and all the rest of that stuff is just a bunch of embarrassingly bad allegedly unconfirmable but non-disprovable L*I*E*S and NOT, NOT, hypothetically speaking.

        • Xena says:

The “mentoring” story changes each time it’s mentioned.

It certainly does. It would need to be an official program through a not-for-profit organization in order for parents to trust their children with the “mentors.” I wonder if Witness 9 knows anything about how GZ “mentors”?

        • Lonnie Starr says:

We’re to believe that while they make sure we know of their charity, there’s no talk of the logistics needed to return these kids to their homes, before, or after Shelly goes out to get GZ’s truck? They would leave out the difficulties their good works imposed on them?
          HA!

      • Jun says:

According to Zimmerman’s cult, Zimmerman was simply playing “doctor” for 10 years with his cousin. I honestly do not want to know what the code word meaning to “mentoring” is in Zimmerman slang

      • @Xena……After reading your link “NW a cover…” and reading these comments I am wondering, did George “mentor” through any actual organization ie:Big Brothers, church youth group, YMCA, govt. program, etc. If not, are we expected to believe that he just drove into these neighborhoods and stood on a street corner “reaching out” to those poor black kids (who were in need of guidance and mentoring) as if he were some kind of missionary? This is REALLY beginning to bothering me…….the investigators need to check this out because if he wasn’t associated with an organization, it might show that he had an ulterior motive for contacting the youths…..proving your point.

        • Xena says:

the investigators need to check this out because if he wasn’t associated with an organization, it might show that he had an ulterior motive for contacting the youths…..proving your point.

Using NW as a cover-up has been my hunch since I first discovered that GZ had financial and unemployment problems. The more he opened his mouth, the more dots he provided. Logically, the best thing that a youth mentor can do when he is working full-time and also attending college, is keep his behind at home studying rather than failing classes and going out on “the beat” in NW.

There are numerous reporters who beat the side-walk and the phone looking for info and anyone who will talk about GZ. If GZ mentored through an organization, they would have found it by now. It was a reporter who read the statement of GZ’s “only friend” and identified him as Osterman.

          • I seriously doubt Zimmerman mentored any children and, in any event, I believe it’s irrelevant if he did because he has convicted himself of Trayvon’s murder out of his own mouth.

          • Xena says:

I seriously doubt Zimmerman mentored any children and, in any event, I believe it’s irrelevant if he did because he has convicted himself of Trayvon’s murder out of his own mouth.

Professor, thanks for bringing things back on track. I seriously doubt that GZ mentored anyone. He needed mentoring himself. In a few more days, we get to see Judge Nelson in Shellie’s case, then GZ’s. I for one am anxious to hear her decision on the subpoenas.

      • racerrodig says:

Then add that comment “….called and said he shot someone else…”

NAACP lacked the resources so George stepped up?

Just like on 2/26/2012 there was a dangerous skittles-toting teen in the neighborhood but the police “lacked the resources” so George stepped up.

Perhaps in the not so distant future, the Bureau of Prisons will lack resources and George will have to step up.

    • MichelleO says:

THESE people are so stupid and so puffed up and misled by the crowd of loonies they have attracted to themselves. They just keep talking and making this such a nice and pretty package for the prosecution. O’Mara keeps telling them to shut up, but just like Georgy, they will not. Good. I love it.

“NAACP lacked the resources so George stepped up?”

That quoted sentence dovetails perfectly with his frame of mind the night he executed that kid in cold blood. Keep flapping those lips, stupid Zimmermans’

      • Jun says:

Strangely and coincidentally, that lines up with his statement…

        and “shit, he’s running”…

      • cielo62 says:

Do you REALLY think that MOM is even trying to get these people to be quiet? I think he secretly supports their poisoning of the entire jurt pool while keeping HIS hands clean.

    • Xena says:

Malisha, that’s the point. The NAACP DID STEP UP. Papa Zim says otherwise. Then too, he might not have known anything about it other than what GZ told him.

It’s time for O’Mara to hold a press conference and tell the Zimmermans and the Zidiots that he does not need their help. The Zidiots are the ones who support the prosecution’s charging affidavit that GZ profiled Trayvon.

      • rachael says:

Do you think they will listen to O’Mara any more than George did the night the police told him they didn’t need him to help? They will help until they shoot someone else, literally or figuratively – and not a one of them is making anything better for George.

    • racerrodig says:

“Perhaps in the not so distant future, the Bureau of Prisons will lack resources and George will have to step up.”

Like this phone call in the not to distant future.

“……………um hello, warden, this is Cheorge again………well, we’ve had a lot of pillow theft up here on cell block #9……OK I’ll hold”…. (roar of laughter in background) “……um, yep I’m still here. There’s also a lot of suspicious black guys here and there’s sumptin wrong with them, they’re on drugs or something” “….shit, now he’s running…….can I follow him”
      “……um…ok, but not very far”……..

    ——————————————————————————-

I read the story you posted, Jun. And nowhere in the story does it mention the advocacy of George Zimmerman. He’s not mentioned as a community activist or even quoted for the story. I’ve read comments from people such as pastors, lawyers, congress people, and community activists who were involved in this story, and none of them remember Georgy as being front and center of any community action in this situation. In fact, none of them remember him at all.

Zimmermans’ must remember the reason they were estranged for so many years from Dear Georgy in the first place: His propensity for fabricating stories and for making trouble for them and himself.

    • Xena says:

      From the subject article:
“Tooley’s retirement happened after Sanford police met with members of Seminole County’s chapter of the NAACP, who are demanding more oversight of the department.”

      From robertandgladys.com
“Additionally, George sought the assistance of the local NAACP in seeking justice for Mr. Ware. However, the NAACP ‘lacked the resources’ to become involved on behalf of Mr. Ware, so George stepped up.”

      • MichelleO says:

AHAHAHAHAHA! These people are so full of themselves, they should be shot! No wonder George comes up with the sort of fabrications that he does! It runs in the family! Lying, slandering, molesting, and criminal behavior are the family values for this bunch. Starting with the mother and father.

      • Jun says:

Next, George will have saved a whole African village when he donated all of his legal funds from his website to them, and he also saved Obama from a burning building

      • Malisha says:

Right, George “stepped up” and used his invisible hero capes so that nobody would know he was there. Actually, he has several different invisible hero capes. The one he used while he was being an activisit on the Ware case made him invisibly hand out flyers at Black churches so that people wouldn’t know a white Hispanic guy was handing them out. (There is some evidence that on the day the invisible flyer hander outer was at Church several women’s purses were mysteriously flung open and their children’s lunch money was stolen but the NAACP had no resources to see to it that these crimes were investigated.) Then when he was on Neighborhood Watch he often donned the invisible hero cape of house and home protector because he didn’t want the dogs to see him, lest he have to take his gun out.

This explains why the attorney for Sherman Ware never saw her invisible helper. And look, now, how ungrateful she is!!!

OK, giggles aside, I think the reason he became involved in the Sherman Ware thing is that it became the way to get rid of Toomey and Bill Lee was behind that political move. So naturally Bill Lee’s buddy Osterman enlisted the aid of all HIS friends (and that would be George, Shellie, and of course the huge number of African American folks they helped so much, that thankless horde of ungrateful…[insert appropriate five-letter word here]…)

Bill Lee had no choice but back George after the killing of Trayvon Martin. George and Osterman had something on him.

        • Xena says:

Bill Lee had no choice but back George after the killing of Trayvon Martin. George and Osterman had something on him.

You know, I’ve heard that suggested previously. When I read GZ’s email to Lee, it did sound suggestive — like, “It’s good that you are better than your predecessor, and I’ll be watching you too.”

  34. Malisha says:

You know, the exploitation of the Sherman Ware case, and the dishonest expropriation of the “championing” of that case on behalf of the poor helpless Black man (who fit one of the racist concepts George has of Blacks, being homeless and victimized as opposed to larcenous and thuggy) are examples of the worst behavior a person like George (and his cadre) inflicts upon the public. He is a self-appointed hero of everything. Did you hear Osterman say that George had so many beloved African American friends that he could have conducted a big march of his own in Sanford? How the Hell Come he DIDN’T THEN? A huge march, thousands, marching for “Freedom for George, whom we love.”

Remember George from the jailhouse talking about how a Black celebrity had “stabbed him in the back” by not being on his side? And what did this celebrity owe to George? Why gratefulness, of course, because George was a fan!

Help me, stuff is too stupid for me to tolerate, HELP MEEEEEEEE!

The Sherman Ware story of how Z was the hero is a phony story… Natalie Jackson would know, she was the lawyer for the case… it is another Zimmerman lie

      • MichelleO says:

GEORGY is the “hero” of no one Jun. He couldn’t even get out of community college, and his folks weren’t even speaking nor associating with him for several years before he became the face of child murder.

      • Xena says:

GZ only got involved with the Ware situation because he wanted to shame the SPD.

      • Jun says:

Zimmerman is a liar and manipulator who uses opportunity. His agenda was to slander police, I mean he did attack cops before. Also with this info, he knew he could pull one over on SPD, knowing their ineptitude.

    • MichelleO says:

DON’T get so excited, girlfriend! Be thankful that the Zimmermans’ are showing themselves to be the pompous and snotty beasts that they are. There is this theme or pattern that runs through this family, time and again: Georgy set’s himself up with the wrong people, and think he’s golden. Robert Zimmerman has a ragtag crew of followers who are a bunch of assorted nuts and racists—-and now he too thinks he’s “golden.” These people are their own worst enemies and nobody can tell them different. Jesus, Himself, couldn’t convince them otherwise, they are so full of the vapors.

      • Jun says:

You can see a real difference between the Zimmermans and Trayvon’s family and everyone else backing Trayvon.

      • Xena says:

Here is what I see. I see Junior walking into court on the 19th. He is dressed in a suit, hair slicked, walking tall. Then, he disrupts the proceedings, shouts “The Scheme Team is racist” and is escorted out by the bailiffs, charged with contempt of court, and spends the next 30 days in the cooler cooling off.

    • Xena says:

Help me, stuff is too stupid for me to tolerate, HELP MEEEEEEEE!

Take a piece of clean paper. Draw a circle. Under the circle, write the name George M. Zimmerman. Then fill in the face anyway you want with the exception of the mouth. Give it ears and draw the hair. In the middle of his mouth, leave out teeth. Don’t forget the earring. (He has a pierced ear and used to wear an earring.)

      Now, feel better? 🙂

      • MichelleO says:

Malisha says: “Help me, stuff is too stupid for me to tolerate, HELP MEEEEEEEE!”

I know!!!! i think we’ll be the one’s in the rubber room if they don’t hurry and take this to trial!

      • The thing is, I don’t care how long they take, as long as the Zim-clan continue making fools of themselves, and as long as the prosecution can continue stockpiling evidence against the Zimster……it’s kind of a trade-off.

    • ladystclaire says:

Just because he is a fan of P. Diddy, that does not mean Diddy is going to support the “MURDERER” of a innocent unarmed AA child. he might as well forget it because, it’s not going to happen! I wonder if he saw the tribute from LeBron James and the rest of the Miami heat bowing their heads in prayer, wearing hoodies all for Trayvon. he is crazier than I thought, especially if he thinks he will take center stage over Trayvon with any black celebrity.

  35. MichelleO says:

ONE thing that comes across loud and clear with that group: They hate justice. It drives them batty. I wonder how the Zimmerman brothers feel knowing that they are this generation’s new Prince’s of Darkness? All of their followers are quite ugly human beings, spiritually.

    • Xena says:

MichelleO. They don’t believe in equal justice for all. What they do hate is the law. What they hate more are judges who apply facts to the law. That is why they didn’t want GZ arrested, and that is why they don’t want him going to trial.

From the recording of his NEN call to his re-enactment, anyone who is impartial would think there is something seriously wrong in GZ’s story. They know that too which is why they began attacking Trayvon, his parents, and anyone else who has a passion for equal justice for all.

    • Lonnie Starr says:

Note that the media now describes GZ as “the killer” and his family as “the killers family”.

There’s a reason why what the family and friends are doing is objectionable, it’s because it would tear our society apart if that sort of thinking were allowed to fester and grow.

  36. MichelleO says:

WHERE did they freak out at?

    • shannoninmiami says:

on twitter michelleO. but i think people are watching this site. how else would they bitch about it so quickly..but i did post those tweets about an hour or so ago, on the last page before i knew Professor wrote this one.

      • MichelleO says:

YEP. They watch this site. They used to complain about this web site on Huffpost. They hated that people here are smart and honest about the facts as presented by the various professionals in this case. We don’t resort to slander and lies.

      • Xena says:

Shannon, they watch this blog as well as a few others, and they also watch forums such as Justicequest. In fact, they are fuming that they can’t read messages on that forum without registration.

      • Jun says:

They live by the attitude that everything they say is gospel and truth and to even question it at all is blasphemy, even when it makes no sense. They are the new Mansons, the new Heaven’s Gate cult.

He banned me too or is ignoring my tweets LOL

I sent him pics of GZ from the SPD station where he he has a couple chicken scratches and two tiny scabs, then asked him why does he keep lying?

I then asked him how he can talk down and slander others with hearsay when he has been caught laundering money, conspiring to hide Z’s passport, and lying on national TV, because, the sunshine lets out a lot of the evidence and its fairly clear that RZ is lying….

      NO REPLIES LOL

      • MichelleO says:

HE’S also on Huffpost. We have suspected all along that Zimmermans’ were camped out there.

      • shannoninmiami says:

wellp, looks like the zimmerlovers are watching us! They just freaked out because i just posted these tweets!LOLOL OMG they’re stalking us here!LOL

      • Xena says:

(Hold on. I have to get a grip on something to help myself up. Okay.) Whew!! I just woke up my dog because I was on the floor laughing so hard.

Okay, we really shouldn’t get so much enjoyment from seeing Junior exposed for being angry and threatening.

Seriously, rather than them blaming Rev. Sharpton, and Attorneys Jackson and Crump for GZ being arrested, they should blame Wolfinger for failing to arrest GZ for manslaughter, and ultimately, GZ.

They should change their mantra from “George is not racist,” to “George should have kept his ass in the truck.”

      • Jun says:

Well RZ Jr is George’s big brother… he prolly picked up after him… LOL

      • Xena says:

HE’S also on Huffpost. We have suspected all along that Zimmermans’ were camped out there.

You know, there is a person that posts to Yahoo comments. Anytime discovery material is mentioned, or anything said about GZ’s inconsistent stories, that person attacks with accusations that the other person is homosexual. Some of the comments are truly obscene. Now I suspect who that person is.

      • Jun says:

        Sounds like RZ Jr.

Investigate George for murder when he shot and killed an unarmed innocent black kid?

Threaten Crump and Jackson with disbarment by harassment and slander

Tell the world of the Zimmerman lies?

Make up lies that it is some kind of grand conspiracy to get the almighty Zimmermans (big laugh)

Point out holes in Georgy boy?

        You are a homosexual

Who needs logic and forensics and science? Robert and the Zimmermans have the correct answers for everything (Big laugh)

      • racerrodig says:

All in all, this confirms my claim that Z’s best defense is the
“My Brother is an Idiot” Defense.

        • jm says:

In my wildest imagination, trying to figure out why in heaven’s name would the Zimmerman clan do these interviews. All I can come up with is they are diverting attention from George.

If the public thinks George is crazy, just look at his crazy family. You think George’s Hannity interview proved GZ was mentally unbalanced, forget about it. Just listen to Junior dodge questions and try to change the subject.

And while you are diverted from GZ the killer, who wouldn’t feel sorry for the ever-suffering momma Z who has to hide in shadows, so send some $$$$$ so she can hideout in a nicer place with all the luxuries she deserves for raising this wonderful family.

          Sickening, the lot of them.

      • Rachael says:

Yep n he’s probably gonna do something just as stupid too.

      • jm says:

LOL Malisha: “OMG Robert Junior is getting himself all worked up and filled with adrenalin, just like his bro got when he saw Tray skippin’ back from the 7-11 in the hood, homie. Bess be watchin’ out for that bad dude, he’ juss SMOKIN’!”

      • thejbmission says:

I’m scared! I hope Robert Jr. doesn’t go George on everybody. Ya never know with these buffoons.

      • jm says:

All that suppressed anger from his dysfunctional family environment is finally coming out, just like it did when GZ shot Trayvon. Wonder if Junior is armed and dangerous too?

      • Two sides to a story says:

Seriously, if GZ were innocent, there would be little reason for RZ Jr to get this steamed up. I had more respect for the family when they were quieter. One would presume that with a good attorney and plenty of time to work the case, that all would come out in the wash. All this blowing off steam in public tells me GZ is at least guilty of at least manslaughter.

    • ladystclaire says:

Well, nothing can be taken from them that they never possessed in the first place! maybe Natalie Jackson would love to see these tweets of his mental rants about her. they are all angry at all of the wrong people and they know it. as for his mother and father being put up on a pedestal, I can’t tell because, neither one of them are role models in any sense of the words. the apple didn’t fall far from the tree!

    • racerrodig says:

Does that clown actually understand his mom didn’t even know the difference between a hypothetical situation and her son’s murder case…..that was Priceless.

“Thanks to our parents, our values are intact. Much has been taken from us, but they will never take our values”

That line alone shouts “We’ve not right”

      • bettykath says:

Consider that English is her second language. In everyday conversation, how many times does “hypothetical” come up?

      • Malisha says:

OK, we can excuse Gladys for not knowing “hypothetical” — hypothetically — but consider, she was a court clerk for all those years? Raised all those kids HERE? Never heard that word? But knows all about the situation down in Sanford with the Sherman Ware thing? And all like that? Um, I think we’re still allowed to make fun of her. Bwaaaaahahahahahaha!

        • Xena says:

OK, we can excuse Gladys for not knowing “hypothetical” — hypothetically — but consider, she was a court clerk for all those years?

(clearing throat) As some attorneys told me, “court clerks are nothing more than data entry clerks. If they are condescending, ask to speak to their elected boss.”

    • aussie says:

“…but they will never take our values…”

Who the heck would WANT their values? lying cheating paranoid loudmouths?

      • racerrodig says:

I almost heaved when I heard that line. List values RZ jr. Here’s what the real world observes and I’m sure I missed a few.

        Depraved mind
Complete lack of respect for other lives
        Chronic un or underemployment
        Pathological liars
        Complete lack of morals
        Complete lack of cognizant thinking
The ability to insult co – workers at the drop of a hat
        Transparent Racism
        Violence prone
        Major mental disorders
Inability to complete a project (7 years in a 2 yr class as a start)
        Inability to accept any responsibility
Willingness to coerce others to take the fall for him

What did I miss…..I’d say normal people avoid those that exhibit these values……………But hey…..that’s just me.

        • jm says:

I did not think I could dislike GZ any more after his Hannity interview but his brother RZ Jr. actually has pushed me to the point of despising him and his brother. What a bunch of phony lying losers to include now Robert Sr, Gladys, ShelLIE, Robert Jr and GZ. I want so bad for GZ to be convicted not just of 2nd degree murder but also a hate crime and misuse of funds from donations and if possible indirect perjury for plotting with ShelLIE to conceal money from the court. I also want ShelLIE to pick up some time as well as being known as a liar with a felony record.

          • racerrodig says:

Remember that Osterman said Z was, and wrote a book about Z being “The most hated man in America”

All I can say is “Nuff Said.

          • Lonnie Starr says:

Subornation of perjury, for getting others to lie under oath, so he could conceal money from the court, which in turn, interfered with the courts ability to rule properly.

          • jm says:

@Lonnie Do you think Zimmerman will be charged with anything other than 2nd degree murder? Do you think there is a plea bargain in the future for GZ?

          • Lonnie Starr says:

He’s made himself such a popular “whipping boy” everyone wants a piece of him to bolster their own credentials. How can he not face additional charges, is the better question. If for any reason he is not convicted of 2nd D M, he’ll be hit with more charges, before they come back and retry him, and perhaps the second time around, they’ll go to a GJ for a 1st DM indictment.

Do you have any idea of the massive admissions to criminal conduct GZ has already made? The longer he gets to speak out, the more enemies he makes. By June of next year, even his family may be carrying an axe for him. Sure they circled the wagons, but that was when the 200,000 came in. Now that the money has slowed to a trickle, all they can do is bite their nails and hope. They’re not sincere people, so you can bet that when they discover that there’s nothing in it for them but alienation on all sides, they’ll be weeping and gnashing their teeth. At everyone!

          • racerrodig says:

He’s not “The Most Hated Man in America” for nothing !!

I must say that when you alleged “best friend” writes a book with that as the title…….’nuff said on that.

Where are all of the African American friends he’s so close to. Osterman did say there are so many they could have had their own march……

          • jm says:

Reading comments on blogs, it appears Zimmerman is not at all hated and is a superhero to some. Just wondered if the title of Osterman’s book was to get attention rather than something he believed.

I do wonder how many people actually support Zimmerman versus how many want him in prison, versis how many people don’t care or don’t follow the case.

          • racerrodig says:

In all reality, he is hated by most. The support he has is by a few who use many names. The title Ostermans book may have been a ploy to help but it backfired badly. You can track sales of it online, and at this point he hasn’t sold very many.

When he had collected 200K we did a bit of math on this. 100K was donated by 3 entities for a total of exactly 100K. That left 104K donated by his little minions. His website and O’ Mara stated many are repeat donators and the average donation is $20.00 and that is well within the realm of believable. At 20 a shot that’s 50K donations and 1/2 as multiple = 25,000 supporters. If they are 3 time donators that’s less than 10K who are donating and he is getting about $20.00 a day now.

In the grand scheme of things that’s nothing !

Several years ago there was a real cause to donate to to help a family with job loss and a child with medical issues. They were donated over 2 million….

          • racerrodig says:

Yep !! The most hated man in America, according to his best friend.

    • racerrodig says:

Appeal the ban ?? Hey, ask for a new judge….Immunity, YEAH That’s the ticket !!

    • Nellie Nell says:

It is my understanding that the lieutenants son turned himself in on Monday and was officially charged? George made it seem like the kid was already charged for the Dec 5th beating of the homeless guy. Amazing the stories this family will come up with!!! Sherman Ware’s sister has been fighting for justice for the beating.

      • shannoninmiami says:

Oh, yeah GZ really stepped up to the plate for the victim here! sure is selfless of him..
I think it’s obvious he was jealous the cop’s son was getting away with it! You know, he can’t stand it when ‘others’ get special treatment!.
He only used that case to further his own agenda! He wrote letters disparaging the police department as if he’s a concerned citizen, but he was just trying to get into the police force! Again he thinks he could do a better job than anyone else.

        LMAO

Now, now. Junior has to acquire some accomplishments for his resume. What better accomplishment is there than threatening an attorney to have her disbarred because she is part of the legal team representing the parents of the child his brother is accused of murdering?

NOW WE KNOW WHY GZ abandoned home and job after killing Trayvon,in fear of retribution. Junior set the example for him of what it’s like to be angry and make threats.

      • Jun says:

The funny thing is, RZ Jr, sounds like a lot of the internet posters that have been harassing all of us online…

the modus operandi is to get mad at us because we wanted an investigation into a killing of a kid where the perp was heard stalking the kid and the kid is heard screaming for help before being shot and asphyxiated…

or make up lies about the kid like that even matters at all as what happened that night is what matters…

I am starting to think RZ Jr. is behind the profiles telling people that he will disbar Crump and Jackson for gaining an investigation into a murder and all the other insistence of events despite being in the face of evidence….

      • Lonnie Starr says:

“Seven months after the killing of unarmed high school junior Trayvon Martin, the killer’s family is on a national media crusade to clear the family’s name.” —Note the language “the killer’s family”.

“The family’s media campaign follows months of public relations debacles” —Making them seem like Chaplinesque?

“Last month, Zimmerman’s best friend published a book riddled with errors that offered a new accounting of how Trayvon died. It wound up on the prosecution’s evidence list.” —-Shows how sharp the Osterman Resource is, lol.

Blunder after blunder, and still they persist? An inability to learn and/or change is a Neanderthal trait!

    • MichelleO says:

THIS sounds JUST LIKE the characters on Huffpost. I have had quite a few of “them” say that they were reporting me to Mark O’Mara. I think I’ll go back over there, just to “f” with Robert Zimmerman, Jr.

      • ladystclaire says:

I can’t tell, and who is O’haha suppose to be anyway? this entire family is sick sick sick!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      • MichelleO…….When I read what RZ Jr. said, that’s the first thing that I also thought of…the HuffPo site (that I complained about earlier). Be on the lookout for Newbee100 and another one that has a nose as its avitar…I think it’s Ouchthenose…or something to that effect. They’re becoming VERY dramatic and intense in their description of how big bad Trayvon beat up poor little defenseless Georgie-Porgie…..lol.

      • looneydoone says:

        Michelle,
I began checking profiles on *new* accounts. They all have something in common; eL JeeP and a dormant AOL account “katrutledge” are the first to “fan” new sox (katrutledge made 4 comments then disappeared……but her “fan” base continues to grow).

I think eL JeeP is the mothership, and the others are spawned from it.

      • racerrodig says:

Michelle…a few of us got some of the hard cores barred. Of course some come back as sock puppets with a new ridiculous name & avatar. One pinpointed one as Z and now that I think about it, one is Crump, and Dee Dee obsessed.

When I refer to O’ Mara as “Moron O’ Mara” he goes off the deep end so needless to say, I make that reference as often as possible.

      • camanokat says:

          • jm says:

I don’t really follow other Zimmerman websites. So Zimmerman supporters call Trayvon supporters gay? Isn’t that strange considering GZ’s outspoken brother who defends him is gay? Do they realize they are insulting RZ Jr if calling someone gay is meant to be insulting?

I vaguely remember someone (Osterman?) saying GZ had a gay brother. Is Robert his only brother?

      • looneydoone says:

        Cielo,
Yes, gilipollas is a wonderful, and versatile word for incorporating into an insult 😉

Now I have to search for the article you referenced in your comment pertaining to Spanish profanities

      • racerrodig says:

I call him a blatant liar just because of his name. I say hell dude, your just “All Z…………All the time” to which he rams down our throats how unbiased he is… Pathetic ……You Betcha!!

One of them said that there are no laws that give you any rights, they restrict them. Huh?

    • Malisha says:

I sense a pattern here. People with too much hubris attack without any sense of shame or proportion. Dershowitz leaped into the public fray saying that Angela Corey should be disbarred because she did not plead the Defense’s case in her affidavit of probable cause, and then he acted all indignant when SHE complained of HIS behavior! Now Robert Z Junior is screaming for disbarment of attorneys representing the family of his brother’s dead victim. And I wonder: what behavior would the Zimmerman’s have accepted as appropriate behavior from the family of Trayvon Martin?

Let me guess. They wanted Trayvon’s father to hear from the police that Trayvon was killed and they wanted Trayvon’s father to ask, “So you say that the killer claims my son wrongfully attacked him and threatened to kill him?” George and Robert Junior then wanted Serino to say, “Yessir, I’m sorry to say that is what the killer says happened. What’s your response to that, Sir?” Then they wanted Mr. Martin to say, “Well, it looks like we have to believe this stranger who shot our son. It looks like he must be a good person because he’s — as you say — squeaky clean, so it must have been our son’s fault. Right?”

Then they wanted Mr. Martin to say, “Please tell this gentleman that we are awfully sorry we did not raise our son to be more obedient to God’s plan, and we really apologize to him for his having been forced to kill our boy. We hope he has not been hurt too much by all this. After all, we are sure he is not a racist and we are very grateful to him for not being racist, especially after all he has been through with all these young Black males terrorizing his neighborhood. Remember, tell him we’re sorry.”

Would that have been sufficiently apologetic for all Trayvon’s misdeeds?

OMG, never let me get into a room with these people, because I don’t want to have to answer for my acts. 😈

      • MichelleO says:

THIS FAMILY feels very empowered by the assortment of freaks, racists, loonies, and gun nuts they have attracted. They are being sorely misled into thinking that they are some sort of righteous rock stars.

      • Jun says:

LOL You could always shoot the Zimmermans and claim self defense… if they want prosecution, accuse them of being unprofessional and railroading you because you are innocent… we can all join in and spread false rumors about them drinking lean and we dont need to make up Georgy’s thug history because he already has plenty of it LMAO

      • Xena says:

Yep. Classic Steppin Fetchit response is what they expected.

Thinking about the story that GZ lost sight of Trayvon, walked past the area were Trayvon suddenly appeared out of the darkness to ask GZ if he had a problem, fits into the “Spook” imagery also.

Lord, what happened to “God created all men equal”?

George Zimmerman’s brother’s media tour leads to Twitter tirade in Martin case

Defense attorney Mark O’Mara said he cringed when he saw a relative of his client acting out on the Web, and said the new media tour was launched without George Zimmerman’s knowledge. His message to Robert Jr: “Be careful with my case.”

“I have been cautious with how we act in this case and now someone with the same last name who does not act with the same constraints is out there – and I have no control over him,” O’Mara said.

Good to hear that finally someone on their side is “cringing”, lol

      • Personally, I think O’Mara’s comment is to make it seem that he disagrees with the media tour of GZ’s family, so HE will not be accused of perpetuating his attempt to taint the jury pool. Believe me, no one in GZ’s family would do anything without GZ’s knowledge and consent. IMO, O’Mara is not being forthright about his reaction to this media tour.

      • racerrodig says:

It’s looking like RZ jr will be adopted by Taaffe. Twitter Twits.

      • Nellie Nell says:

I think MOM is behind the media disaster. Knowing their family member would be in jeopardy based on what you say and after months of trying to keep cool, why all of a sudden. All their attempts to raise money have failed. When the brother comes across as angry and hostile (looking like George) it just does not look good. Nothing this family does makes any sense to me. They are not very bright!

    • Malisha says:

OMG what a pack of big-mouthed pea-brains! Exactly the family George deserves — as he deserves his friends Taaffe, Osterman and Oliver. WOW!

      • gbrbsb says:

So right Malisha… they really really all do deserve each other. Brings to mind a very poetical Spanish refrain,

“Dime con quién andas y te diré quién eres.”

which roughly translates (literal translation doesn´t give it true justice) “Show me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are”

    • Lonnie Starr says:

That’s got to be the ruination of Junior, a lawyer whose actually ruining his own brothers case! That cannot be good for his practice, being disavowed in the media by his own brothers lawyer as hurting rather than helping. The value of his services must be pretty darned low, eh?

      • racerrodig says:

Is he actually a lawyer. I heard his sister is, but jr. ?? He’d be hard pressed to get any clients.

          @racerrodig.

Is he actually a lawyer. I heard his sister is, but jr. ?? He’d be hard pressed to get any clients.

A paralegal in another state informed me that Junior is a lawyer who concentrates in bankruptcy. Many lawyers I know consider bankruptcy attorneys to be the bottom of the barrel. (There’s not much respect for the chapter 7 bankruptcy petition mill variety.) If Junior was working solo, and if he is indeed an attorney, I couldn’t see him saying he quit his job.

Maybe Junior is going through a period of rejection.

      • Jun says:

I have no idea if Robert Zimmerman Jr was really fired or not, but if he did, it is truly apparent why – he went on national TV lying and his boss or manager saw and fired him because that constitutes a liability to the firm.

    • jm says:

      Wow. Thanks for the article.

Glad to know I’m not the only one to think RZ, Jr’s media PR blitz is obnoxious and ultimately hurting GZ. Underneath it all smug/arrogant RZ, Jr is so full of himself he thinks he can sway public opinion to think this dysfunctional family his crazy lying brother came from are fine, wonderful, upstanding, spiritual folks?

Gotta love a good train wreck !! I love the line jr says about dispelling all the rumors and lies about his brother. Huh ?? Which ones……Oh, he’s not really 220 lbs. ….he’s only 215 ? that rumor…..

The best part of the mom & jr interview was the fact that she did not even know the difference between a hypothetical situation and her son’s murder case. Priceless !!

      • Jun says:

They not doing a good job with the rumor that the whole Zimmerman clan are assholes LMAO

I guess the other rumor that he wanted to dispel is that funny looking knuckle bandaids can cure all mortal wounds from a “death beating”, that are place on the wrong areas of the head and face

      • racerrodig says:

Jun “They not doing a good job with the rumor that the whole Zimmerman clan are assholes LMAO”

“I guess the other rumor that he wanted to dispel is that funny looking knuckle bandaids can cure all mortal wounds from a “death beating”, that are place on the wrong areas of the head and face”

Well, we know they’ll beat that one to death, which will be the death of Z. Did you see the short video of Z walking up the steps unescorted in the Sanford Police Station and while going up the steps, he turns and looks, knowing there is a camera recording and flashes his shiny new knuckle bandages.

Look everyone……I have proof that mean gangsta Trayvon brutally assaulted my wimpy ass. Poor, poor, pitiful me.

Who’s O’Mara trying to kid? Is he trying to say his client George acts with more constraint than his brother Robert Jr? So I take that to mean that Robert wouldn’t kill someone because he thought they were suspicious.
      Pfft..

      • Malisha says:

George has more constraints. Robert would make a fool of himself anywhere at any time in any way. George would only do it on Hannity WITH his lawyer sitting by his side, or on Barbara Walters IF SHE GAVE HIM A LUXURY HOTEL SUITE FIRST!

      • ladystclaire says:

O’haha knows all about this Zimmerman Family Circus appearing on these TV shows. I hope their attempt to taint a possible jury pool will fail just like GZ did in school. BTW, i believe Robert Jr molested his own brother GZ. someone here had mentioned that, they thought he himself may have been the victim of molestation when he was younger and, seeing that his big brother Robert is “gay” it is my belief that if he was indeed molested, it was at the hands of his own brother.

        • cielo62 says:

Lady- you have crossed the line! How DARE You equate being gay with pedophilia?? Maybe GZ was molested or he was born a sexual predator, but don’t you DARE equate homosexuality with pedophilia! I have an open mind and have learned alot but I will not sit still with the same kind of BS misinformation printed on hate-filled sites! Where we talk about justice then we must also keep to facts. They are NOT the same.

          • I concur!!! Homosexuality and pedophilia are two totally different things! We must be different and better than the Zimbots, not hateful and non-tolerant like them!

        • You said,

“BTW, i believe Robert Jr molested his own brother GZ. someone here had mentioned that, they thought he himself may have been the victim of molestation when he was younger and, seeing that his big brother Robert is “gay” it is my belief that if he was indeed molested, it was at the hands of his own brother.”

Please reconsider what you said because you have expressed a prejudice against gay males. I call it a prejudice because there is no evidence that gay males are any more or less likely to be pedophiles than straight males. If anything, based on my experience representing pedophiles, they are less likely to be pedophiles than straight males. With few exceptions, all of the pedophiles that I represented were straight males who were born-again Christian fundamentalists.

Other criminal defense lawyers have reported the same thing. Note that I am not saying that all pedophiles are straight males who are born again Christians.

I have no information or basis to believe Robert Jr is gay and I do not care if he is or not. We should never judge anyone based on their sexual preference.

I believe George Zimmerman is a liar and I believe he murdered Tryvon Martin and lied about how it happened. I also believe he molested his cousin W9. Despite my beliefs, I do not know for certain that he did any of these things or why he did them.

I think we need to give the Zimmerman family a little slack because they are understandably concerned about George’s case. I think they are coming off as unusually self-absorbed and whiny, but I can forgive them for that because they are in a very difficult position.

I believe we should focus on what George did or did not do and what he said about it because that is where the jury and the nation’s attention will be focused when the case goes to trial.

IMO, YES! GZ has a gang tattoo. He came in contact with Mexicans pulling knives on him. According to his “bio,” when GZ was 18 yrs old, his parents sent him to Florida ahead of themselves. Subsequent to his move to Florida, GZ had an underage friend drinking alcohol who he was willing to “protect” from the police.

IMO, his problems didn’t begin in 2005 but rather, caught up with him then. My guess is that GZ has a long juvie record and was sent out of State so he wouldn’t end up charged as an adult — LIKE HIS COUSIN WHO HE TOLD SERINO ABOUT.

      • Rachael says:

        I mean publically?

There’s prolly a lot of skeletons in Z’s closet. I wonder if the state looked into it. His adult habit history is pretty bad so I can only imagine George the kid, what he was like. George was probably in a gang, he does have a gang tattoo. The state prolly did look into it but figure it was pointless.

      • Jun says:

It would probably take too long to go thru Zimmerman’s juvie history and adult history

I suspect that GZ has a history of alcohol abuse. That is not uncommon for adults with ADHD when they are not properly or immediately diagnosed.

        • Lonnie Starr says:

Meanwhile the SP is quietly watching this train wreck and probably picking up the connections between these self appointed NW’ers without portfolios. I had a dream that there was someone in the truck with Zimmerman, helping him with the NEN call. TM didn’t see them because they were laying down on the seat, keeping out of sight, after all, they could not know if he’d survive, they could not take that chance.

These guys fancied themselves as some sort of top secret agents.
I went back and listened a few times more, and sure enough it sounds to me like there’s someone in the truck feeding GZ cues.

Even if you can’t hear the voice, there’s an awful lot of noise in the background of the NEN call. Since we know GZ has only 2 hands, and these noises indicate that some other things are being manipulated, there simply has to be more hands in there.

I’m going to step out and guess, the FBI and the SP are going to connect the dots and rope in some one or more people as assistants that night.

I read a comment once about that tattoo, but have not been able to find any published info. Very interesting. It wouldn’t surprise me if it was his cousin’s name. She said something about being really upset when she got a boyfriend. You would think by the time that he got that tattoo, that he was old enough to understand incest.

      • looneydoone says:

        Xena,
All large, metropolitan Law Enforcement agencies have a “Gang Unit”. They compile information and photos of grafitti, tattoos, known members, territorial claims and such. In So Cal, the cross tattoo above the heart is known as a sign of a thief. Perhaps a check into the agencies in the Manassas area will turn something up.

  42. Xena says:

If O’Mara finds some evidence that Trayvon was an aggressive bully and he introduces it at trial, he will open the door for the prosecution to introduce similar type evidence regarding Zimmerman, which we know exists.

Such as GZ’s MySpace page where he commented about having his “boys” handle his sister, doing a year and not saying anything to get his “ass pinched”?

    • MichelleO says:

WHAT did he mean by that? Did he mean have his boy’s handle some matter for his sister?

      • Jun says:

If you look at Zimmerman’s face, he looks inbred, as he looks all willy nilly and not right. His eyes are so close together and he looks weird thats why I think he may be inbred.

      • looneydoone says:

I believe you might be right in that suspicion, Michelle.
He and elder half sister Susie/Grace have a very *unusual* relationship based on their jail conversations (in Spanish)
Their conversations were like overhearing two love struck teens.

        • cielo62 says:

I heard a prison phone call between GZ and sister and the relationship seems more than brother and sister, to the point it made me uncomfortable to listen to. • Xena says:

Have the prosecutors even looked into this? Good grief!!!!

Actually, I think it might fall under federal jurisdiction. Before he launched his website and was tucked away cozy at Ostermans, GZ spent $135 at the U.S. Postal Service. If that was to ship stolen property that he sold on ebay, then it falls under federal jurisdiction. He brought his laptop with him to Jacksonville, FL so the authorities had or might still have it.

    • @Xena…George’s comment…”I can hit up my boy to handle a lil something with my sister….” Could George’s sister have also been involved in his alleged fence operation? As I reread the comment, that’s what I come away with.

      • Xena says:

Could George’s sister have also been involved in his alleged fence operation? As I reread the comment, that’s what I come away with.

IIRC, this happened before GZ moved into the gated community. If he was engaged in criminal activity prior to that, chances are that it was gang related. His sister and the rest of his family would have reason to know of GZ’s gang activity. Osterman just might know why GZ spent $135 at the post office too since that happened while GZ was living in his home.

    • @ Xena….According to the HuffPo site, the Zim-team have also asked for Trayvon’s cell phone records. Will the state now ask for all of the Zimster’s records….middle school, high school, social media, and cell phone? The State already has GZ’s phone records. They are sealed from the public. I have Trayvon’s phone log that Tracy provided to the State, and I’m sure that the State has since ordered it from T-Mobile. O’Mara verified GZ’s MySpace page. I do not know if the State really needs to go any further into GZ’s social media. Remember the charges. They did not charge GZ with being an alcoholic gangbanger.

GZ’s school records were already released — by accident. The Zidiots used that to demand that O’Mara subpoena Trayvon’s school records and once he does, that he accidentally drops them so they become public record.

It is my impression that the FBI would be more interested in GZ’s social media and internet usage.

    • Dennis says:

He is admitting that he sent his friends to do something illegal, that is how I take it. They got caught and didn’t mention his name. Zimmerman’s Myspace page paints a very dark picture on his past O’Mara does not want to open the door for character evidence, because it is Zimmerman who has a violent past, not Trayvon.

      • Xena says:

Probably because the State has not requested a Gag Order from the court. I don’t know if the State has standing to request a Gag Order upon non-parties to the case.

Look at it this way also — the State prosecutors know their stuff. They know what MOM can and cannot get by with.

I am reminded of something the late Alfred Hitchcock said when interviewed for his opinion of the movie “The Exorcist.” Hitchcock spoke about his movie “The Birds.” He said something along the lines that suspense changes in the minds of those watching movies when children are victims.

MOM really has little idea of the message he conveys to parents, grandparents, future parents, and children. In the psychological realm, the Zidiots are like the birds in Hitchcock’s movie, and MOM is like the devil in the Exorcist. That is why Osterman and the Zidiots do everything they can to paint Trayvon as a grown man in mind and strength.

Unlike the movies, the law recognizes a 17 yr old as a child.

      • Jun says:

Omara is really annoying as well as the Z family. Why do they not focus on the night of the event and leading up to it? All of Trayvon’s kindergarten grades and more are such a waste of time and money and work. It will not prove anything. A guy could be an asshole 3 days in a row and be nice on the 4th day. I hope Nelson shoots him down and grants what the State asks because this is just getting depressing. George stalked and killed that kid… Omara has had 6 months already and by the time trial starts, a year… he need to get his ish together and get the show on the road… The feds prolly already have their evidence ready too to get Zimmerman and Omara too

      • Lonnie Starr says:

Next he’s gonna hire a medium to interview Trayvon’s ancestors. Egad! At 400 per hour to boot. GZ won’t have any money left for commissary.

The reason MOM is delaying is because there’s not enough money for his fees and costs. He might not have to pay fees to government employee that he deposes, but stenographers/reporters are not volunteering their service. The cost to prepare the transcript is an additional.

But yeah, GZ won’t have money left for commissary, postage nor phone calls.

      • Xena says:

Why do they not focus on the night of the event and leading up to it?

IMO, because the evidence for that night is not to GZ’s benefit.

What O’Mara is doing is what I call the “rapist defense strategy.” That’s because I remember when John Wayne Gacy was arrested, his defense was that his victims were male prostitutes or rebellious against parents. The court did not allow Gacy to victimize the victims. He was sentenced to and received the needle.

Here, GZ is claiming self-defense, and he wants to build a defense surrounding his story that Trayvon had ability to be invisible until he wanted to show himself and then, just to pick a fight.

        • Lonnie Starr says:

Well, he’s already failed because neither his “likely” broken nose, nor his bleeding head are proximal causes of his reason to fear for his life. So, there he is, forty feet away, with only a claim that Trayvon may have begun to reach for a gun he could not see and did not know was there. And had no training to use, no skill or understanding, and most importantly, no nerve! It takes nerve to pull a trigger on someone, not everyone can do it. Even the military has that trouble with new soldiers,

Then, even so, as the professor has shown us the law, he can’t claim self defense from a weapon he brought to the fight. In any event, there is nothing to show that he ever lost control of the weapon, so there’s no way any reasonable person, has reason to think that he was in mortal danger from an unarmed youth.

When he pulled the trigger, he had no reason to fear for his life! That’s what makes it murder! George needs to make a deal now, if he hopes to get his choice of upper or lower bunks.

      • Jun says:

        What Zimmerman lacks is…

        means, motive, opportunity…

What means would a nerdy scrawny 100 pound teenager with skittles and ice tea have against Zimmerman, who had from the beginning targeted his prey, and had been chasing him throughout the complex with a gun, have? By logical standards the odds are against Trayvon

What motive would Trayvon have to attack Zimmerman? Trayvon stands to gain nothing, since he was already running away from Zimmerman.

What opportunity would Trayvon have against Zimmerman? Zimmerman stalked and chased him and had a gun, as well as a physical and adult advantage over him. Trayvon had no fight training and would have no clue how to fight against a grown larger man with a gun.

Z’s story doesnt make any sense
